In the vial: I'm AWAKE now! On the skin: Orange, ginger, probably some lemon and lime, some sugary type of sweetness... it's like almost Tang for me. Wild! I will be keeping this around for those mornings when I just can't wake up enough and need a swift kick to the butt. Ooo love this!

The world needs more perfumes dedicated to bats! In the bottle: FLOWERS. Lord... that's strong... On the skin: It's really hard to pick something out by name, it's a strong blend. I can note the honeysuckle, lemon balm, and lavender. It's almost like an aromatherapy blend. It's a tough call on whether I like this or not. Either way I'm keeping it!

In the vial: dirt, with a hint of sweetness. On the skin: Yup, if ever there was a way to bottle dirt, Burial would be it. Reminds me kind of of when fresh barkdust is spread around the yard. Very summery, like dirt hit with a freak rainstorm. Manly. I like it.
-
In the vial: hrm... can't place this. I know that's myrrh... On the skin: I could swear this is lotus, really... maybe it's just the herbs. It does smell like I'd imagine the resins and herbs they'd use to embalm with would smell like. During the dry down something popped out but I don't know if it was the storax or balsam. This is very manly to me.

In the vial: banana. Particularly reminds me of banana bread. On the skin: Very fruity, very exotic. I can smell palm and the wet warm breezes of an exotic island. It's actually very nice. It changes quite a bit during dry down, to a hazy island in a rainstorm type of scent. The banana still remains strong through out.

In the vial: high retail men's cologne? On the skin: Ow, skin burny! Now the cinnamon/cloves are coming out... but it still smells like some men's cologne for me. Not for me.

This came in a swap and I was hoping I'd like it, based on the description. Boy do I *ever*! Masabakes is like the female version of Czernobog for me! The combo of the currant and myrrh are strong, exotic. I'm not sure if the mimosa or the mandrake is what brings the sharp sour tint, but I like it. The throw isn't as far as I'd like, but it's a strong scent. I feel sexy wearing it. I could certainly buy a bottle of this!

In the vial: clean ozone On the skin: it's an aquatic, there's not question of that. This reminds me of Hurricane, but it's not as strong as Hurricane and doesn't give me such a headache. There's something sensual about it, very clean. It's a toss up; I like it, but I don't see myself wearing it often.

In the vial: pomegranate and apples. On the skin: seriously juicy! Smell so good I want to gnaw on my wrists. The roses bloom as it dries, but the pomegranate is strong and lasting. It's sexy, feminine. Would buy a bottle of this.
-
In the vial: dark burning flames On the skin: smoke and fire, burning. It reminds me of Fallen, but where as Fallen is mostly ashes and keeps burning, Djinn is flames and fire, all-consuming.
-
In the vial: raw chocolate On the skin: Milk chocolate, almost like the smell of when you're making chocolate chip cookies and you smell the dough that you just dumped the chocolate chips into. It's a single note in most repsects, but I still smell cookies. Delicious! Yay Beth!
-
In the vial: STRONG smoky incense. On the skin: This blend is strong! Almost too strong. As it dried, the resins still burned my nose. It might be a better scent for like ritual work in small doses then as a perfume. Still a nice scent, just strong for my tastes.
-
In the vial: lemony leather, smoky grasses On the skin: Smoky leather, very musky. The vetiver pops as it dries down. It's very very manly, not something I'd wear. As it dries further, the sweet clove comes out to play. I love it.

Firstly, let me say: Best Bottle Artwork EVER! In the vial: sugary sweet vanilla with butter rum! Yay rum! On the skin: the saffron sandalwood really makes this exotic! Normally I can't wear a lot of sandalwood, but the mix of vanilla and butter rum (I *love* butter rum lifesavers!) make this delectable! Yum yum yum!
-
In the vial: boozey-woozey chocolate oranges On the skin: Musky, like a warm wet dog. Very comforting. As the chocolate dies down, the fig/walnut/juniper berries explode and remind you of running through a dense forest during a rainstorm. It's really a three-level blend, changing as it dries. I wish I had more!
-
In the vial: rose/sandalwood. Strong. On the skin: Again the jasmine strikes! The roses were strong along with the musk but as it dried down the jasmine ran in and destroyed me. I just can't win with anything jasmine.
-
In the vial: ylang ylang. Strong! On the skin: Normally I pick up roses right off, if they're a note in something, but this time it's like a ylang ylang party. Which is okay if you love ylang ylang, I suppose. As it dried down, the roses began to pop (or "bloom"...) It's a beautiful rose scent as it dries and deepens. Reminds me of a Catholic church for some reason.

My first unreleased scent! In the vial: pine and lemon, after a sudden rain storm On the skin: it's manly, the undertone is smoky which juxtaposes with the clean pine/citrus. It's a most interesting combo. Not my thing but really good for a guy.
-
In the vial: drunken blackberries! On the skin: this is like Beaver Moon, but with blackberries and bourbon. Seriously delicious. The throw isn't as strong as Beaver Moon (boo!) but there's just something distinct about juicy berries over sugary cake...yum! I'm *so* glad I snagged a 5ml!
-
In the vial: wet cherries/cherry blossoms On the skin: Neo-Tokyo is like Akuma's sophisticated older cousin. It's aquatic and ozone-y, like cherries smashed all over wet pavement. There's a wet fruit undertone as well, very clean and crisp. If you like cherries, you'd love this.
-
In the vial: oh damn FLORALS! On the skin: Strawberry hibiscus... which isn't bad, really. Just sounds odd. It's almost a burny smell to me, but I think that's the carnations (which I don't get along with) I'm not sure how to classify this one. I just can't breathe in too much of it.
-
In the vial: mmm gin! Crystal clear aquatic here. On the skin: I've never had an actual martini but in perfume form they smell awesome! The juniper berries and the gin are strongest, with a whiff of pine as a background note. Yummy!
-
In the vial: raw leather On the skin: It's a smoky leather, like Beth just distilled leather into a bottle. Very very manly! If you like the scent of leather in any form, you'd like De Sade. I need a man to slather this on...

Normally anything with jasmine is a no-no, but I tried it. At first it was all black orchids, musk, and rose in the vial but as soon as I got it on my skin JASMINE. Argh! It's still a nice blend and has a "dreamy" quality to it. Very girly.
-
Really, I wished I'd tried this sooner! The warm carmel is all spicy and exotic, and the amber deepens it. This is sex in a bottle! The carmel always pops first for me, then gets spicy as it dries down. The coconut and currants are always back notes, and the tobacco makes it smoky. I could live in Red Lantern, truly!
