In the vial: musky vanilla, with a drop of lemon. Very clean, very simple. On the skin: This is very fresh, as florals go for me. When I sniff it I "smell" white. Weird. I like it, it's a very girl scent on me.

In the bottle: opium-laced chrysanthemums. Really strong! On the skin: this is pretty exotic. Where as I love Red Lantern, and that's pretty Asian, this is... really strong. Much more spicy too. A bit dab of ginger and some spices. I honestly love the smell of chrysanthemums, but I'm not sure I'd wear this that often. Lovely, though.

In the bottle: minty Earl Grey! It smells almost exactly like the aching muscle oil they used on my cruise to Alaska! Yay! On the skin: Mmm delicious Earl Grey! With just a hint of vanilla bean! I'm excited, because usually anything with jasmine disagrees with me, but I can barely detect it! God I want to just roll in a bath of this! Will probably have to break down and order a bottle!

In the bottle: Sugary Febreeze. No, I'm not joking! On the skin: I do smell the sugar, but the florals... I just never do well with florals. I will not be on the Midway at midnight.

In the bottle: CITRUS! Holy cow! On the skin: Very lemony, floral. The heliotrope, tuberose and amazingly the apricot blossoms really pop on me. Sadly, so much floral gives me a headache. As it's dried down, it's gotten musky/smoky. Reminds me a bit of Nihil, oddly. CD isn't me, but it's a really vibrant scent!

In the bottle: piney, almondy smoke. If that makes sense. On the skin: Very very pine for me. On the dry down, I'm getting more sarsaparilla, which is making it a bit sweeter and taking some of the edge off the pine and patchouli. Another very manly scent.
-
In the bottle: black cherry patchouli with cardamom. On the skin: Whoa! I don't know if it's the cherries or the cardamom or even the verbena but dang! My sinuses are awake now! Eep! Similar to Tokoyo for me; cherry scents and I just don't usually mix. Very very strong on me. Almost an aquatic for some reason.

In the bottle: heavy heavy dark chocolate, with a shot of cream. Just like the description, really! On the skin: Where as Bliss was very much the smell of milk chocolate, CB is pretty much how I'd imagine a chocolate scent to be. Rich and velvety. It's pretty much a foodie's dream in a bottle.
-
In bottle: wet leather, smokey fir trees with a hint of cedar. Very manly! On the skin: pretty much the same, but the musk pops now on the drydown. I love amber and in this it's faint. I really really like this one!

This was an enablement imp given to me by Reedsong... In the vial: very heavy floral, almost like an upscale perfume to me. On the skin: there's a pine note that popped through the florals... almost like... this is hard to put into words but for me this turned gender neutral instantly. It also reminds me of hand lotion; got me on why. I wish I knew the notes, because this is certainly nice.

In the vial: that's pumpkin with incense... hmm... strong On the skin: smells like butter popcorn! And there's the pumpkin again! It seriously reminds me of the farms during the fall, with the kettle corn and the freshly picked pumpkins all carved on display. There isn't an intensity to #4, like say that there is with Jack (which I spilled and was tortured for days by) which is nice. There's a hint of sugar that pops on the drydown. Very much like this!

In the bottle: heavy coconut, surgary sweet. Almost carmel-y too. On the skin: Yeah, coconut lover's dream. I'm assuming that's cassia; it certainly does have an angel food cake quality as well. Out of the three MB, this is my least favorite. Still smells sinfully sweet!
-
In the vial: cinnamon and fruit. Pear? On the skin: And then it spilled all over. It's definietly cinnamon! And that is fruit, I'd hazard pear and maybe a hint of strawberry. There's a touch of florals, maybe even clove, as it dries down. I'm not sure I'd wear it, but maybe for ritual purposes it'd come in handy. And now that it's all over my hands and keyboard, hopefully some blockages are busted?

I've been unfortunate with 2/3rds of the Lunacy set, so here's hoping. In the vial: Whoa, bamboo. And...pine. Ok. On the skin: Ok that's better! That's certainly lavender, chamomile and white sandalwood. It's almost sweet smelling on me, and the bamboo isn't so overpowering. (like Dragon Moon was) It does calm and sooth the senses. Yay, finally another lunacy I like!

In the vial: sugar, particularly pink cotton candy! On the skin: That pear! Yummy! And still with the sugar. The strawberry comes out as it dries down, and I think I detect a tiny hint of sweet pea. This is a lot like Midway, but instead of straight sugar overdose (and I *love* Midway) this is a bit more sweeter. Probably because of the pear and strawberry. I can see why everybody went nuts for this! If I had a chance, certainly I'd snag a bottle.

In the vial: cherry blowpop. On the skin: Ohh much better on then the vial. I really never go in for cherry things, and they usually dislike me. The two lilies have overpowered the cherry and turned it into a nice, sweet scent. Very nice. I've had a lot of luck with the MTP collection and it seems I can add yet another to the list!
-
In the vial: Smoke, heavy vetiver, and patchouli. On the skin: I accidently spilled some on hands and suffered the whole evening. Vetiver can be very good or very bad for me. This was a dark dark scent, heavy and almost overpowering. Either way, it doesn't work for me.
-
In the vial: Roses and wine. Yum! On the skin: Honey-roses with red wine. Very yummy. There's an incense note, turns into some woodsey. It's a strong scent, womanly for sure. Roses are almost yes or no with me; this reminds me of a few of the rose bushes we had when I was a kid. Specifically the more exotic ones. This is a nice one, a nice rose, "lovey-dovey" kind of scent. Excellent!

In the vial: Oh... that's not good when it smells like a diaper... On the skin: Problem is, I got a sniffy of this, so there was very little to attempt on my skin. But I don't know what exactly is causing it... but it smells like a diaper, baby powder, and nothing of the listed notes. I hate when that happens! Oh well, win some, lose some. It's only getting worse on the dry down.

In the vial: Bitter herbs. Some incense. *has flashbacks of Passover* On the skin: It's a very herbal scent, with a backtone of incense and dust. And something sweet is poking out during the dry down. It's really not that bad, honestly soothing. There's also a bit of floral thrown in, lotus perhaps? It's also dry, like sand. A very complex scent. I like it very much!

In the vial: musky, exotic honey! Mmm! On the skin: I like the smell of honey, but this is a "wild" type of honey. Very deep with the musk, the tinge of ylang ylang honestly doesn't bother me (has been known to) and honestly I get a bit of fig in this (?) but overall a good honey scent. Very much a keeper! You do kind of imagine the Norsemen with Skuld.

in the vial: clean and manly lilac. On the skin: This is certainly a man's scent, but I like it. The combo of the lilac and lavender are nice, fresh and a hint of sweet. This is a keeper!
-
In the vial: Coffee'n'roses. On the skin: Ok sorry but this is not a mix I like. It actually smells like dirty diapers and baby powder on my skin. I can pull the roses and coffee but I can't stand the combo. *tosses quickly into the swap pile*

EAT ME Three white cakes, vanilla, and red and black currants. In the vial: Spicey, sweet, deliciousness with a hint of vanilla! On the skin: My god I want to eat my arms! It's just the right balance of sweet and spicey, like sugar cookies with a dusting of cinnamon, or bread pudding or something that's gooey and sweet. I could literally live in this, and it's the first BPAL scent I've ever gotten comments on while wearing. Sign me up for several bottles! (edit for Lab description)

CHESHIRE CAT Grapefruit, red currant, dark musk, Roman chamomile, delphinium, and lavender. In the vial: grapefruit and lavender. On the skin: This didn't last too long on me, and turned almost lotion/soapy after a few hours. I'm not sure if it was the chamomile or the delphinium I didn't like. It's a crisp scent, with a heavy citrus note. (edit to add Lab description)
