    Springtime scents

Lolita! Best springy scent EVER. Fae Dirty Berenice Embalming Fluid Peony Moon Pink Phoenix (Maybe not clean/fresh/whatever, but feels so fun and springy to me!) ETA: My husband said, "You gotta put Jolly Roger on there!" So yeah, Jolly Roger.

    Bliss

Oh my god, Bliss is seriously amazing. I got it as a frimp, and although I would have eventually made it around to trying it on my own, it wasn't at the top of my list. I pity the people on whom this turns weird, because on my skin it smells like awesome chocolate goodness This will definitely be my PMS'n scent. It has a good throw and is long lasting too, which is unusual for my skin. 5/5!

    Block Buster

I really, really wanted to try this, so I'm so glad that the lab sent me a frimp yesterday! In the bottle, this smells NICE. Something spicy and fruity. On my skin, it starts smelling like a rabid March Hare. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad thing. In fact, this is a very, very good thing. I immediately thought I smelled cloves, but it must be the cinnamon that everyone's talking about. Anyhow, I've been having an awful day, and I think this is giving me the ol' proverbial kick in the balls that I need to stop moping about and start ripping through my mountain of homework. Definitely need a big bottle of this one.

    March Hare

Ahhhh, I am smitten with March Hare. In the imp:My husband said it smelled like peach sorbet. Definitely fruity. I wasn't really picking up on the clove note in the imp, which made me sad because I am obsessed with cloves. Drying:Yay! I can definitely smell the clove now. The apricot has settled into the background. This is so good! Hours later:The clove and apricot take turns being the dominant part of the scent. Although most fruity scents do a vanishing act on me, this one lasted for hours. Amazing...I need lots and lots of this!

    O

I love O! On me, it's lovely honey and amber, with just a little bit of vanilla. Amber and honey are both amazing on me, and the amber seems to become the dominant note the longer I wear it. It's sexy and comforting at the same time, and it even smells good mixed with a lil sweat. As if it wasn't awesome enough, O is one of the only scents that lasts all day on me. Fantastic!

    Chimera

In the Imp:Cinnamon bears! Fine by me, because I can eat mountains of the little buggers. I love cinnamon! Drying:Cinnamon and honeysuckle. This is the second honeysuckle scent I have tried (the first being Lolita), and my skin loooooves honeysuckle. The feeling is mutual Dry:Cinnamon, amber, and just a lil bit of honeysuckle. Reminds me of O, which is a good thing! Must be the amber. Love it. Overall, if this ends up lasting as long as O does on my skin, I will definitely buy a big bottle.

    Highwayman

Stand and deliver! Vetiver with gardenia, blood red rose, night-blooming jasmine, a dash of cinnamon and a faint hint of leather. I received this as a frimp. I didn't know what notes it contained when I smelled it, so I didn't have any preconceived notions. This was actually the first time I have ever smelled vetiver or any BPAL containing the leather note. I can definitely pick them both out, though...I'm assuming that vetiver is the herby greenness I'm smelling. The scent was definitely intriguing, so I had to apply it, even though it seemed too masculine for me. On my skin, I could smell the vetiver and leather, with just a tiiiiny bit of florals. The leather smell is a bit weird for me, since I was a vegetarian for almost a decade, but I kind of liked it. Definitely too manly smelling for me, but I'd like to try it on my husband. All in all, it's a unique and beautiful scent, but really not for me. However, I'm glad I tried it, since I have been avoiding blends with vetiver because of all the anti-vetiver posts.
