In the imp: Amber and a bit of tonka. On me: Amber incense. Deep and heavy. It's very faint, and my skin ate it after only five minutes.

I have to admit, I bought this just for the name. Vanilla hates me, and I don't tend to like foody scents. In the imp: Smells like a cupcake! On my skin: Vanilla usually does terrible things on my skin, but this one is staying pretty good. It smells like a sugary vanilla frosting layered over a bit of sandalwood. There's just a hint of saffron underneath. I didn't expect this to be sexy, what with the smelling like a cupcake, but it really is. Drydown: Sandalwood and saffron, with a bit of sweetness. I really like it at this stage. I only dabbed a little on, but it's pretty strong, and it doesn't seem to be fading nearly as quickly as most other blends. I don't think this is something I'd ever wear, but it is really nice.

In the imp: Smells like outdoors at night. I can't pick out any notes other than the orchid, but I like it a lot. On my skin: Still can't pick out the notes in this. It's soft and outdoorsy. On my boyfriend: Very earthy. Patchouli and musk with some lighter notes way in the background. It smells a lot like Omen, so I'm assuming the other familiar note is juniper berries. It's really a lot like a lighter version of Omen.

In the imp: A whole lot of citrus. Smells like cleaning supplies. On my skin: Still a bit like cleaning supplies, layered with very heavy orange. The description says a gentleman's blend, but I'm not getting that at all.

Yup, Saturnalia is definitely violet and vetiver. Mostly vetiver in the imp, and the violet comes out more on my skin. Unfortunately, neither of those are scents I like. It smells like evil potpourri.

In the imp: Cedar and herbs. On me: Cedar and grass? Maybe that's the bay leaf, but my boyfriend confirmed that it smells like grass. Drydown: More cedar.
-
In the imp: Almond and cinnamon- but it's a light powdery cinnamon, not a hot harsh cinnamon. On my skin: Marzipan! I am so craving marzipan now. I want to devour my own wrist. Drydown: Old, dry marzipan. It turned weird and bitter. I really liked it wet, but the drydown was just terrible on me.

First off, I love the color of this oil! In the imp: Herbs and grass. It's bright and clean. On me: Weeds. It reminds me of when I was little and I'd help my grandmother weed her garden.
-
In the bottle: Very ripe oranges. On my skin: Oranges and ginger. This is true to it's name- something I'd wear on the mornings I don't want to get out of bed.
-
In the imp: Rose. Not a bad rose, though. On me: A powdery, perfumey leather. Like a biker wearing my grandmothers perfume. I had a nasty allegic reaction to this, so I had to wash it off before it dried down.

The essence of pleasure heightened by pain: the raw scent of leather. This sure does smell like leather. In the imp, on me, drydown- all leather. It reminds me of walking through the vender isles at the motorcycle show. It's interesting, but I can't think of a time when I'd want to smell like leather...

In the imp: Heavy and womanly. On me: Musk and rose. Very perfumey. It's definitely a womanly scent. This is nice, but not me at all.

I got an imp of this with just barely enough to try. I really wasn't expecting to like this, since tobacco is on my list of notes that hate me, but it suprised me. In the imp: Bubblegum. Overly sweet and candy like. On me: Holy fuck! Cherries and clove and sexiness. This is super sexy! I'm glad I had a chance to try this, but I'm sort of sad that I probably won't be able to get any more. This is the ultimate clubbing blend.

On me, this smells weird and citrussy, but not really like pomegranate. For some reason, it reminds me of cleaning supplies. Maybe it's the mix of the alcohol and citrus.
-
In the imp: Very foody. It's sweet and kind of reminds me of some sort of cookie. On me: Very sweet. Almost like vanilla, which isn't good on my skin. The cinnamon isn't sharp like most of the cinnamon blends I've tried- it's more soft and sugary. Drydown: It gets weird and sweet, like all sweet scents do on my skin. Everything else is drowned out except the weird sweet note.

Urd It's one of the Norns in the Excolo section.

I got this for my boyfriend, since smelling like rum isn't really something I want to do. (No, really officer. I swear I haven't been drinking!) In the imp: Almond and booze. On him: Deep, rich rum. There's some sort of spicy note, maybe clove. It's nice- maybe not nice enough to buy a bottle, but we'll definitely keep the imp.

Both on me and in the imp, this smells exactly like cinnamon and celery. Not arousing the the least. I could feel the areas where I applied it warming up, but more in an allergic way than an arousal way...

A phenomenally powerful attractant. Sexual and commanding in the extreme. In the imp: I wasn't overly impressed with Come to Me. It has the herbal undertone that all the Voodoo Blends have, with an soapy note. There's something cool and light here too- cucumber maybe. On me: Still herbs, soap, and cucumber. It's cool, light, and airy. It sort of reminds me of something Ren Faire-like. I like it more as it fades. My boyfriend loves this on me. Maybe there's something to this...

In the imp: I received imps of Dana O'Shee and O on the same day, and in the imp they smell identical to me. The sweetness worries me since my skin does bad things to sweet notes. On me: Yup, there's the bad things I was talking about. It's a nice mix of honey and oats for about a minute. (I smell kind of like breakfast food, but I can live with that.) Then the honey goes all weird and overpowers everything else. I end up with a weird overly sweet smell that lingers for hours and won't go away. Usually it's vanilla that does this, but maybe this time it's the honey.

In the bottle: I practically recoiled from the patchouli when I opened this. The berries are very sharp, and there's a note that smells moldy. It smells a lot like cheap incense. I considered putting the cap back on and tossing this in the swap pile untested. On me: It warms up quite a bit. Maybe that's the myrrh. It's a bit more masculine than what I normally wear, but not bad. On my boyfriend: OMG Sexy! This smells so good on him. The berries are nice and fruity, and the patchouli is rich and deep. As it dries the patchouli comes out a bit more, but somehow on him it doesn't smell like a headshop.

In the imp: Honey and fruit. I can't pin down what kind of fruit- some sort of citrus or maybe pineapple. On me: Lemon incense. But not fresh lemon- more like lemon scented cleaning supplies.
-
I have no idea what's in this. The top note is something that might be almond. It's very sweet and very heavy. There's other notes underneath, but they are seriously overpowered by the almond. It dries to sort of an almond incense smell that lingers for hours.
-
In the imp: I can definitely smell the apricot, but no clove. On me: Cake. Some sort of fruity cake. Unfortunately, I don't like cake, so into the swap pile this goes.
-
This is a very sharp green scent. I'm not sure what the notes are- something herbal, clove, some sort of citrus. Maybe patchouli. It doesn't smell like a perfume to me. It's very odd, and I'm not sure I'd wear it.
