    Redwood

In the imp: A dry wood On: This is a dry, dusty wood. My grandfather does a lot of woodworking, and this smells like his wood shop when the saws have been on all day.

    Enraged Bunny Musk

Wet: There is something in here that I'm in love with. I think it's the clover note. I need more scents with clover in them! There's something heavier and sour beneath the clover. It smells kind of like lemon drops. Dry: The lovely clover note has faded to powder. It's still nice, but not remarkable. I might put this in a scent locket to keep it clovery and wonderful.

    Nahemoth

Of all the Qlipoth blends, this was the one I really wanted to love. Imp: Roses and fruit. Wet: Faint. Still rosey, with a lot of other notes I can't identify. (My boyfriend says I smell like a New Age store.) This is gorgeous. Drydown: Something weird and sweet is coming to the surface. Maybe there's carnation in this. Carnation always turns weird on me as it dries. It was so pretty until this point... A few hours later: The weird note has faded a bit, but it's still there. There's also a very sexy musky note. I really like it, except for the one off note.

    Gamaliel

In the imp: Spicy and incensey. Wet: Very faint. Incense and lemon. Or maybe tea, which always smells very lemon-like on my skin. Dry: It gets stronger and heavier as it dries. With all the incense and dustiness, it smells similar to Midnight Mass.

    A'arab Zaraq

In the imp: Cigarette butts? I'm not sure what's in this, but it's not something I want to smell like. Wet: Cedar and cigarettes. This is very masculine. Dry: Still cedar and cigarettes, just fainter.

    Samael

In the imp: Fruity and floral. On: I have to strain my nose to smell this, it's so light. There's a very faint powdery incense and a bit of floral. I seem to be able to smell it while I'm writing, but not when I sniff my wrist. Odd... Dry: Honey, incense, and floral. It's faint, but it sticks around longer than I expected. I'm still smelling it a bit a few hours later. I might have to buy a bottle of this to put in my hair.

    Thagirion

In the imp: A fresh, clean citrus. Wet: Clean and a bit chemical. It smells like something in laundry detergent. Dry: The smell fades almost before the oil dries. It didn't even stay around long enough for me to jot down notes.

    Golachab

In the imp: Fruity. A heavy fruit, maybe apricot or plum. Wet: Some sort of fruit (plum?), amber, and incense. Dry: A lot of fruits go weird on my skin, and this is no exception. The fruit note completely takes over and gets very sweet. It's like fake candy grape or plum, with a bit of incense way underneath. After a few hours: Sweet, dusty fruit. Golachab is stronger to begin with than most of the Qlipoth, and it stays around for quite a while.

    Sathariel

In the imp: Sweet and musky. I'm pretty sure there's amber in this. Wet: Resins and wax. It has a waxy undertone that makes it smell like a scented candle. Dry: It smells like smoke. Not fresh from the fire smoke, but more the way my skin smells after I've been around a fire.

    Gha'agsheblah

In the imp: Light herbs and rose. Wet: Herbal and very soapy. A lot of the Qlipoths turn soapy on me. I wonder if it's the same note in all or most of them. Dry: Just soap. Nice soap, but not something I'd wear as perfume.
  11. Ryvre

    Ghagiel

In the imp: Woods. Maybe a bit of floral too. Wet: I'm not sure what this smells like. Sort of like burnt plastic, with a bit of wood. Something in this really doesn't work on my skin. Dry: Burnt wood. Ick. I wish I knew what it is making it smell like this, so I could avoid it in the future.

    Thaumiel

In the imp: Clean with something sharp as the top note. I think I smell ylang ylang, but I'm not sure. Wet: Light and soapy. A bit floral. Dry: Very soapy. There is almost no throw to this. It's hardly there to begin with, and it's gone within half an hour.

    Parlement of Foules

In the bottle: Roses. Oh my, is this rosey. On my skin: A very perfumey rose. Smells like something my grandmother would wear. Overall, this one is a bit too bland for my tastes.

    Nihil

In the imp: Floral and aquatic. More like a traditional perfume than I tend to like. On my skin: Very floral. I'm not sure what kind of flowers, but not rose. Drydown: Soapy floral. Not really bad, but not something I'd wear. Sniffing it kind of gives me a headache, so I think I'll have to wash it off.

    Katharina

In the imp: Fruity. Very womanly. On my skin: My skin and apricot do not get along. This was a frimp from the lab, otherwise I never would have tried it. The apricot gets heavy and sickly sweet. Like syrup in canned fruit. Ick.

    The Apothecary

In the imp: Green and herbal. On my skin: Herbal with a touch of citrus. Maybe that's the tea note- it tends to smell like lemon on my skin. This is very clean and light. I like this a lot, but my skin eats it. It doesn't even last an hour before it fades completely. I might see if I can make it last longer in my hair. If not, it's off to the swap box.

    Shub-Niggurath

Everybody seems to be in love with Shub, so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't cookies. In the imp: Very spicy. The ginger is overwhelming. On my skin: Gingerbread cookies. It reminds me of Christmas. Dry: Gingerbread cookies and cleaning supplies. I don't see lemon in the list of notes, but I certainly smell lemon.

    Oisin

In the imp: Soft and green. It 's mossy and herby. A lot of other reveivers have said it's a masculine scent, but it doesn't seem overly masculine to me. On my skin: Very faint and lovely. It fades very quickly though. Part of me wants to try to track down a bottle, but I would have to reapply it every five minutes to keep it strong enough.
  19. Ryvre

    Smut

In the imp: Sweet, musky, and boozy. On me: Dark and musky. It smells much sexier on than it did in the imp. Dry down: OMGMusk! Very smooth and sexy. There's a vanilla-esque note, but it doesn't go weird on my skin like most vanilla does. Smut last forever. I put it on in the morning, and it was still strong when I got home from work in the evening. Nothing last that long on me.

    Sweet Clove

This is a very strong, spicy clove. It stays very true on my skin, and has pretty good throw. (I can still smell it a bit after 3 hours, and most things fade quicker than that on my skin.) This smells exactly like Adam's Clove Gum. I wish I had enough of this to layer with all my other scents.

    Imp

Devilishly playful: white peach, amber, golden musk and patchouli. In the imp: Ripe peaches and summer. It reminds me of Fae, but not quite so girly. On my skin: The peach comes out the strongest, but the other notes keep it from being too girly and fruity. The amber warms it up quite a bit. It's a sweeter scent than I generally wear, but it smells so good I might just buy a bottle.
  22. Ryvre

    Toxin

In the imp: Citrus and aquatics. I didn't expect something called Toxin to smell so good! On my skin: It might have lemon in it, because it's turning to a cleaning supplies smell. There's still the aquatic note, and maybe some melon. It's fruity, fresh and clean, but not me.
  23. Ryvre

    Zero

In the imp: A soapy floral. On my skin: I can barely smell this, and I can't pick out any notes. Maybe a floral, but don't quote me on that. I slathered it on, but it's barely there. Zero faded almost immediately. I wasn't even finished jotting down notes, and it was gone.
  24. Ryvre

    Black Orchid

In the imp: Dark and earthy orchid. Is there a dirt note in this? On my skin: The dirt note is still there, but much more subdued. Mostly, it's kind of a soapy orchid. It smells a lot like expensive soap. Drydown: Still orchid soap, but a lot lighter. It fades pretty quickly on my skin, but most everything does.

    Jester

In the imp: Fruity and sweet On my skin: Watermelon bubble gum! It smells like a certain brand of bubble gum that I always had as a kid, but I can't remember the name. I'm not sure where the watermelon is coming from, but that's all it smells like to me.
