I'm willing to try anything once, but my favorite scents are usually spicy, incense-y, or spicy/sweet - anything "exotic", especially if they're particularly reminiscent of India or Indonesia. I'm also a big fan of lemon and lime, and other uplifting scents such as ocean or ozone.
I love berry and wine scents too, but unfortunately I don't think they work with my skin chemistry all that well. Herbal smells work pretty well on my skin and I really like them, but other people always comment that I smell like soap or some other hygiene product, hehe... so I don't usually wear those either.
