They say inquisitional incense. I saw grandma's basement. This is an odd, yet comforting scent. Right now I'm torn.

Berenice is clean and fresh, like a newly tumbled load of laundry. It's not my kind of scent, but it's quite nice for what it is.

Oh my, violets! Violet is something I have a love/hate thing with. In numb it's a bit suffocating to me.

... This Harvest Moon oil is a merging of autumnal scents from all over the globe: chrysanthemum, pomegranate, cane sugar and dusty wheat, sorghum, green tea leaf, rice flower and rice milk, Russian sage, bamboo shoot, elderberry, black cherry, wild plum, red haw, hazelnut, red apple and shagbark hickory. In the bottle it is spicy autumn fruits. At first, I'm getting apple and more apple, then it blooms into a subtly sweet berry blend. I love the sage and green tea that tone down the fruit and bring a fabulous dimension to the moon. As for the other notes, my nose is not skilled enough to discern them, but I know they're fabulous! This is genius and Beth's outdone herself yet again! Thanks you for this smashing fragrance. I'm falling in love with the impending season...

Another that I desperately wanted to work on me, but that I can only describe as peculiar.

This is a berry, citrus, woodsy infusion of goodness to my nose, with a gourmand note like caramel or almond or vanilla draped throughout. Akuma reminds me of those square lollipops I would get from the bank as a kid.

This Poe blend takes my breath away. *Hums Berlin song* Anyway, it's all haunting night blooming flowersand together they are enchanting. I'm finding that I'm drawn to Beth's lillies, and have enjoyed most that I've tried.

I'm devastated... I keep trying and trying, but often times jasmine decides to do that pee-pee thing on my skin. This continually breaks my heart.

WOW! Major spiciness factor going on here! My skin is amping the cassia. Together the combo is not what I expected, though I appreciate most of the notes. The tobacco is coffe grounds to me, and the other aromas are making my mouth water. The notes together are something I would appreciate more in my teas than on my body.

Beatutiful violet and vanilla blend! There are other summery flowers woven throughout and this BPAL is a stunner...

This is a pretty, if slightly ordinary, floral scent on my skin. It has a bit of zest from the citrus. I adore the name, and because of this, I feel that my expectations were too high. Perhaps thats why it didn't flesh out for me.

A pungent clove and heavy cooking spice on my skin. Perhaps something I'd enjoy a dab of during the holidays, but for me, this is too robust for everyday use.

Jasmine with a new plastic kind of smell. Feminine and masculine all at once. Possibly some leather?
-
Maybe the old sniffer is failing me, because I'm getting Black Jelly Beans. Could the honeysuckle be out to challege me?! On a later inspection - the honeysuckle is tricking my nose, but the candy sweetness is still present.

Citrus mint blend. Very yummy. This is making me crave a candy cane and it's April Showers time. Refreshing and uplifting.

The Sleeping Beauty. A gentle, lovely scent, slightly soporific, but beautiful in its quiet repose. Plumeria and white pear, Damascus rose, tuberose, magnolia and evening dew. Beautiful, warm fruity floral. Quite nice, with a crispness to it. the name is stunning, too.

Incense and womanly florals. This is a dark blend that has an edgy feel to it. It's as if the woman wearing it would profess her love to you and then take a knife to your heart - both literally and figuratively.

If you've ever had a bowl of fruity pebbles, this is that scent. Not for me...

Fir is the dominant note on me, and I am enjoying this blend. The flowers are airy, and even though its not listed, I'm catching a sugar or vanilla base. If it was wintertime, I'd be all over this one.

Oh, yummy! Annis, marzipan, grenadine, and other truly decadent treats. A little goes a long way with this one, for she's a doozy. Reminds me a lot of Aveda's #15 pure-fume spirit - must be the annis.

Clean, peachy, cucumbers. Too much of a clean scent for my tastes, but I'd love it if my laundry was scented with Empyreal Mist.
-
Oh, how delicious! It's like a divine candy of sorts - sweet, tart, floral. I'm getting hungry!
-
Very pretty vanilla scent. Description says flowers, but to me, I'm detecting vanillas. Reminds me a lot of Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace, which is a nice mellow vanilla. Nothing too foody. Overall, I'd love a bottle.

This is a green, dry floral. I'd say there may be some jasmine in there, but not too much so that it takes over. Maybe a drop of carnation as well. It's very subtle, and smells a bit like the orchids I have when they are in bloom. There's also some spice in here - perhaps a drop of black pepper. A nice fragrance for someone who does not want to overwhelm the senses.

Dragon's blood and beautiful ozone/aquatics. This is a pretty, weepy blend. I might dab this on a warm, rainy day.
