Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
Sola replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
Ordered 12/5/2014 Received a second "thanks for your order!" acknowledgement 1/20 Edit: shipped in the wee hours 1/21 Considering my brother ordered (a much larger one, too) on 12/31 and had his by 1/10, I'm thinking mine got lost and had to be reprocessed. Whoops! -
Wow: thank you for the very thorough recommendations! March Funebre is on the way, and it's not the first time someone had mentioned Hal, so it's most likely time to suck it up and grab a bottle. This is for someone else who's quite comfortable with himself, so it really just has to be not-especially-feminine rather than DUDE ALERT. I'm definitely going to give Ogun and Amicita a go (fig and honey! on nom nom I just made a batch of honey-roasted spiced figs to dress desserts for the holiday) and keep the others on the short list.

... I was convinced it was some limited all this time. Derp. Well, then, it'll go on the list!

Ooh, just the thread I was looking for. I've been seeking a masculine honey scent: hopefully with green notes, but looking to avoid patchouli if possible. So far, Nostrum Remedium has been the closest match. I'm waiting to try Hemlock Honey, Bard, and Deadly Nightshade Honey, and have a bit of Marche Funebre on the way. O and Dragon's Milk were right out, but I'm kind of interested in Mead Moon now. No. 93 seems like it would be a royal pain to get hold of.

Ginger scents & the different types of ginger notes
Sola replied to Lorna Brigid's topic in Recommendations
I was able to get a bottle on the forum pretty quickly, and it just arrived today; this is incredibly close! For me, right now, it's just chocolate and lots of (non-cinnamon) spiciness, but i just slapped it on straight out of the shower. Delicious; thanks so much for the rec. -

I also found, after some flapping about, Milk Chocolate, Raw Ginger, and Butterscotch, in case this interests anyone else. No luck with the marketplaces yet, but i'll keep digging! -

Thank you both - i will be sure to try and track down both of those! (The holiday releases often escape me, so i hadn't even heard of either.) I love both coffee and boozy notes, so either one should do the trick nicely. -

Please forgive me if there's an existing post this fits under, but i didn't find one. Any ideas for a scent that involves both ginger (any kind of ginger, really) and a dark chocolate/bittersweet note? I recently made some double chocolate cookies and, on a last-minute whim, diced some candied ginger and threw it into the dough, and now i'm OBSESSED with the scent. Chocolate-covered ginger has always been one of my favorite treats, but this was off the hook. Thanks!
