Strawberries and fruity in the bottle, this stayed very sweet going on. Very sweet. Strawberries are nice but for some reason always are very candy-like to me and I dislike smelling like hard candy. So lots of sticky strawberries but a dark floral edge under it - poppy perhaps? There is something unusual under all that strawberry sweetness but this just isn't me. Off to swaps with ye!

Must...have... Warm and buttery sweet in the vial, this goes on pure pumpkin spice. Not fresh carving pumpkins, but cooked pumpkiny pie smell, rich and sweet and buttery. The clove starts to come out a bit as this mellows and a little peach but really not much. Gorgeous, warm and glowing and completely edible.

This one goes right off to the boyfriend. Sexy sexy sexy, but a little too masculine for me despite it being a "goddess" scent. Leather, hard and slick is in the bottle, but this goes on spicey and full of myrhh and musk. Spicey but not a cinnamon spice, dead sexy and dominating and confident. Oh yes I must smell this on Jake. must must must. purr.

Sweet tea rose seems to be the predominant note for a long while. This drys down into something a little more complex, apple blossom and honey sweetening and smoothing this. I never got much of the ylang ylang. This is a gorgeous, feminine, blend, floral and pretty and very rosey. Beth certainly has a way with roses!

A sinfully playful lust blend. Inspires sexual spontaneity, a little bit of kinkiness, and new and inventive ways to get dirty. How very totally...wierd. Spicey and resiny in the bottle, this went on floral for me. Yes, that's right, floral. Lillies and roses and a hint of something more spicey but the whole blend just sort of soaped away. Sadly this didn't leave me feeling playful or much else as it was gone in about ten minutes. Wierd chemistry. Feh!

I didn't get a lot of almond on this one, but I did get a lot of heady, gorgeous spices and something abit more resiny. I imagine this is what the interior of the zenana would smell like in a sultan's harem, spiced and smokey and gorgeous. The star jasmine starts to come out after a bit but it's not over powering instead sort of powdery soft like Jasmine scent floating in a window. Gorgeous and while this reminded me a bit of old Morocco that floral is making it so different a definite keeper.

Deep herbal green, almost musty, and very earthy at first. This is sharp and a little off-putting on me until it starts to dry down. The dry down is a dry, light green floral which is actually rather stunning. A definite shape-shifter on this one, the stages are complex and wonderfully balanced and it's a dangerous scent, very poisonous. Not quite me however so off to swaps.

Voluptuous magnolias strewn over orchid, star jasmine, black amber and smoky rose. Jasmine and Magnolia in the vial and on my skin. Sadly my chemistry amped up the floral and nothing else really came out in this. It's a pretty scent, but nothing spectacular on me and I envy those that it worked well on. Ah well, can't win them all. Off to swaps with ye!

Vanilla can get a little overwhelming in a blend on me, but there is still a subtle difference between this and snake oil that gives it a definite more masculine edge. Strong, long lasting, and a bit resiny and woodsy under the vanilla. This is a golden, warm, strong and comforting scent, but somehow still refined. I'll be sending the imp of this to Jake to test.

Slinky, very slinky... lightly fruity and floral in the bottle, this is a lot lighter than I anticipiated on my skin while still being fairly exotic. The lotus is light and mellow, undertouched by smokey myrrh and something incensey. Lovely and dark and exotic and yet not overpowering.

Strong herbs and lemon. Oh look lemon...ow...stop beating me over the head..ow...hey! Yah the usual lemon problem on me. There's a little bit of lavender and something very strong and biting that I can't place but my usual battle with citrus won out and I'm forced to swap this one sadly

I really really wanted to like this, and it wasn't that it wasn't lovely, it's simply not me... mulled wine in the bottle a note I adore, and there's a smoky crispness to this that's lovely. The musk is indeed very faint but I'm finding it bothers me. I keep sniffing my wrist like it's pretty, but very not me. Everything blends well but there's a little too much wildness in this for it to suit me. The smokiness turns sweet after a bit, to the point that my chemistry makes it a little sickening. Off to swaps!

Pine pine pine pine and more pine out of the bottle. I was amazed I wasn't sneezing as I'm heavily allergic to actual pine trees. The juniper and pine stayed the strong top note, very earthy and reminiscent of a cool dark forest. This is regal, feral, and wild. After a bit the ambergris comes in adding some warm vanilla scents to this. Gorgeous... utterly. This is however, really masculine to my mind and I'll be sending it to the boyfriend.

Gorgeous! Cool and crisp, there's a nice fruity roundness of loganberry and an overlay of light florals and something a little more green, leaves and ivy. This reminds me of a path near one of the beaches near here, where the ivy and trees form a tunnel. Cool and green but there's a ripe abundance to it. Definite keeper.

This seems to have been much lighter on me than it was on others. Violet definitly, but also not heavy violet. A mysterious, wet floral. It brought to mind a nighttime glen filled with flowers where one might go to worship. A touch of incense softens this into something a little smokier. Lovely and while I'll try it another tiem or two a keeper

Lemon? Aw crud... It's perhaps eucalyptus, some under current of lavender but lemon was the predominant scent for me in this. I tried some last night since anything to stop the somewhat curious plague of dreams at times would be nice. No such luck since this was very eau de pledge on me. Sad sad... it sounds like everyone elses chemistry is having much more fun with it than mine. Off to swaps.

Lots of cinnamon and clove, warm, spicey and unusual. There's something almost metallic and biting beneath the warmth, making this a little mysterious and seductive. It's a little too masculine for me even if I do have a 5ml on the way. I may bequeath this to one of my good friends who was looking for something unusual for his new character.

::gnaws on wrist:: mmmmmm ohh my I love this. Sugar sweet, brown sugar seems predominant. Some people have mentioned maple and while I can see where that might come from, it's not quite MAPLE enough to be the maple syrup I get over at the orchard. It started off straigh spun sugar, then almost a tough of lemon or peach, something bright and sharp though that faded quickly. Definitly more brown sugar. This is very very sweet but not cloying, and there's a little smokiness under the sweetness as this mellows, saving it from what Gluttony did on me with so much butter and sugar that I felt like the calories were seeping into my skin. Gorgeous. People are stopping by my desk to ask what it is. Purr.

Yaaay! Thanks Chupachup! I shall now go order me some wand caps Ironically I once thought I'd love the reducers but I have such a hard time getting anything out of them that it's invariably not worth the irritation for me.

This smelled similar to harvest moon in the bottle, rich and foody and buttery. I was thus utterly surprised when it went into a smokey, red floral on me. Stunning and understated, I keep getting little whiffs of this through the day as the scent changes and morphs. I love this, so very soft and remininscant with that smokey undertone but there's still something festival like about it in the florals. Whee!

Fruity and strong in the bottle, the peach note was predominant on me for most of the wear life of this, although there was a subtle layer of honey-warm vanilla with that. Golden peaches in the orchard on a bright, warm day. This was surprisingly light on me and while beautiful had very little staying power on my oh so strange chemistry. Lovely but off to swaps.
-
Almonds in the vial, lots and lots of them. For the first ten minutes this smelled like Hecate does on me, smokey almonds and a hint of cinnamon. It morphed into something very earthy and spicey, dark and powerful and firey which was lovely. Sadly this morphed back to a sickly marichino cherry and almond on me. Truely saddening as phoenixes are my calling card, so to speak, and I really wanted to adore this one.
-
Golden, warm, and surprisingly not as sweet as I had anticipated. This is rich and soothing, calming and while it starts a bit sharp on me, mellows beautifully as I go. I'm so very glad I nabbed a 5ml of this before it was retired, but I'll donate the imp to swaps to share. lovely!

I had such hopes for this one given the description and notes involved but my chemistry doesn't seem to like it. Buttery and almost tobaccoy out of the bottle, theres a faint touch of myrrh and incense before this simply fades on me. While I occasionally can ferret out a wisp of flower if I press my nose to my wrist, my skin has eaten this one alive. What I could smell was lovely but All Saints and I just aren't getting along so well. I'll be selling my bottle shortly.

Bottled. Autumn. I said this once about Hesperidies too, but simply because it smells like the apple orchard near me. This? This is a cold october morning in the forest, connifers and wet leaves and earth as the trees lose their leaves in chill air. Someone baking in the distance, apples and pumpkins and fall fruit, but overall a sense of stillness and calm. A touch of spice, a touch of forest, and I'm in heaven. I am so infinitly glad that I spent so much on the order I got a 10ml upgrade, because I want to wrap this scent around me. Beautiful beautiful beatiful.
