Muse is very unique- I don't know if I've ever smelled a floral mixed with lime. It's very fresh and clean- a good springtime scent.

O is super sweet on me- I feel like I might get a cavity just from wearing it. It doesn't smell like sex to me (unless it's sex with a gummy bear or something...)

I really like the sandalwood in this, sometimes sandalwood is too sharp or overbearing for me but in this it's just right. The only problem is that the ylang-ylang is kind of sharp and soapy smelling. It dries down nicely, but in the beginning the florals are very sharp. I'll hang on to my imp for now...

The notes in this combine really weirdly on my skin. The dragon's blood gives it a sweetness that it mixed with a salty aquatic note. Very strange- I don't think I've ever smelled the two combined before. I think this one requires further testing...it's not bad on me...it just might be a little too strange for my liking. On my skin the notes don't really seem to combine as much as seem like seperate individual scents. Hmmm.....

A scent that captures a meeting of the serenity and elegance of ancient Japan, the vibrant, shining, neon-lit and ultra-modern splendor of today's Tokyo and the fantastic electric fantasyland of post-modern manga fantasy. Urban metallics and an ozone-tinged breath of electric light mingled with reedy bamboo, crisp mountain air, cherry blossoms, delicate orchid and a splash of playful, wet fruits. This is very pretty, but has too much of a cherry smell for my liking (I can't bear the smell of cherries since I was sick awhile ago and overdosed on Halls cherry coughdrops). It's very nice otherwise though...

This is, as the description says, a very "thick aquatic". The moss gives it a dark dirty sort of feel- it kind of reminds me of a swamp (not really something I want to smell like).

Underpants smells just like butterscotch candies ! The sandalwood is very subdued, it just gives the vanilla and butter rum some added depth. Very nice! I'm so glad I was able to try it! Also (amazingly) this got a compliment from my husband (who usually could care less about all my perfumes).

I can't believe I've never written a review for Beaver Moon because I think it is my favorite BPAL of all time. It smells just like the description- cheesecake and cupcakes- what else is there to say? I have gotten many compliments wearing this, it's just delicious! If you can find a bottle by all means get it- no wait- send it to me!

Flower Moon was kind of "meh" on me, which is surprising because the Lunar Blends usually work really well on me. FM was kind of a generic floral on my skin.

I expected this to be a favorite, since dragon's blood+cocoa=yum! Unfortunately the vetiver ruined The Tell-Tale Heart for me- which is unfortunate because it was the first Poe story I ever read. ...sigh...

I LOVE Dreamland, it's one of my favorites. It is hard to describe Dreamland. It's pink smelling with the spicy carnation keeping it from being too innocent. It is a very unique oil- thank you Beth!

This is a nice airy floral but on me is too similar, on me, to Zorya to warrant a bottle.

I REALLY wanted to like Annabel Lee because I've always loved the poem, however the sweet pea ruined it for me, turning it kind of plastic smelling. Alas!

This is the ocean on a overcast day with a chill wind. The City in the Sea is not for me- I like my aquatics happier feeling (if that makes any sense)...

The lovely and wonderful Brienze sent me a sniffy imp of Misk. U so I could try it... Smelled from the bottle is was wonderful! When I tried it on it smelled sweet and rich and a lot like Bailey's Irish Creme. Unfortunately as it dried down it turned a little plastic smelling. If I by some miracle obtained a bottle of this I would wear it happily in a scent locket since I love it wet, but since it's likely I will never have any more Misk. U, I'll comfort myself in the fact that it turned plasticy on me.

I love the description of Nuit and was desperate to try it for a long time. The lovely Space Kitty send me an imp to sniff, but it was pretty meh on me. It's funny how the oils you're sure you will love sometimes turn blah while toatally unexpected ones will be wonderful. So anyway, amazingly Nuit didn't work for me. It seemed that my skin amped the white musk so everything else was just in the backround to it.
-
Black Rose was really heavy and blah on me. It seems with my skin roses+anything else=ick. ...sigh...

I really thought I would love this one, because I love amber and the idea behind this oil. Unfortunately is was kind of a generic perfumey scent on me.

When I first put Talvikuu on I smelled the fir and ice/slush that I recognized from by beloved Snow Moon (only without the flowers). As time went on the slushiness turned into an almost masculine ozone sort of smell. It ended up a lot too masculine smelling to me, although I imagine it would be delicious on a boy...

This was very woody on me, almost like fresh cut lumber or sawdust. Behind the overwhelming woodiness I could smell a nice floral though...

Hellcat, like Jack, was almost all butter on me. Sigh. If you liked Jack or Midway I think you'll really ike this one.

When I first put Maenad on it smelled like Christmas! Unfortunately as it dried down it turned really candy sweet. I might need to try this in a scent locket, because I really like it before it dries down.

Ah Snake Oil, why do you hate me? I wanted this to be the sexy blend that so many reviewers have experienced, but it was just "yuck" on me. This must have my nemeses patchouli in it.
-
I like violets, so I thought I would give Saturnalia a try. Unfortunately the vetiver completely overpowered the blend for me.

I wanted to love this- I mean, how cool is a scent named after Dorian Gray? Unfortunately this smelled like play-dough on my skin. I don't think it has anything to do with the oil itself, since it seems to be a BPAL favorite- it's probably just my skin chemistry smoking crack again...
