Rome was a frimp for me in my last order. I found it bright and fresh in the bottle, reminded me of my fave lemon verbena soap. Overnight it morphed into a David Austin classic rose. It is a good, lemony rose, going on twelve hours now! I will be using this one again for sure!

Received a frimp with my latest order, and, SWOON, I am enraptured. In the vial I smelled a little of black licorice, but not sickly sweet. And something dark and musky. Wet: Spicy, Oaky, a little peppery. Dry: I smell like the gorgeous insides of a lovely humidor, like rich and heavy velvet luxury. It smells like a pirate scent but without the salt and the rum. It is a dark and heavy smell but it wraps around with a smooth slinkiness. It has a wicked throw and amazing staying-power on me. Definitely one to wear on a cold winter night. There is not a whiff of tobacco in here, but for any woman or man who has adored the smell of a great cigar box after the cigars have been removed, Black Annis is a MUST HAVE! I am adding the bottle to my wish list. It joins Eat Me and Redoul Honey on my 5/5 list!

Received a frimp in my etsy order and I AM IN LOVE! I have been trying to find something that smells equally as delicious as Eat Me and I think I have found it here There are equal parts overripe blackberry and tart honey (I mean real-live right-outta-the-hive honey!), the scents are true both wet and dry on my skin. This is in the dark of winter? I cannot wait to see how it smells on summer skin!

This was a lab frimp from my most recent order. Bottle: It smelled lightly floral, roses and something playful. Wet: I was assaulted by a green, crushed-leaf smell as well as the multifloral rose (thorny!). It was unsettling, really. Dry: I can't get over the fact that this smells like a funeral to me, that the roses and the foliage have a rottenness just underneath. Maybe this is lillies? I will try it again just to make sure that it isn't my hormones playing tricks but this one is very, very strong on me and not very pleasing. I am sure that people can smell me blocks away and I am sure that I reek like a corpse.

Another frimp! I would not have chosen this one for myself so I am glad I got a chance to try it. BOTTLE: a very sinister bubblegum on skin, wet: a marzipan of lillies. Candy flowers right off of an elaborate layer cake. drydown: tangy, almost citrus. those jellied grapefruit slices coated in sugar? This is a much-to-sweet scent for me but it is delicious nonetheless. It has a very naughty-schoolgirl kind of feel to me.

This is a really lovely spicy benzoin scent! I can see how some people may get the creeps as benzoin is sometimes used in surgery, but I grow Lindera benzoin shrubs in my yard as native plants and I find the smell delicious and invigorating! On drydown I notice the complex spice blend and it is very energizing. I would love for a man to wear this scent for me! OOOH, laaaa laaaaa aaahhhhhh....

A frimp from my last bottle order. In the bottle? Vanilla! Wow, that is a LOT of vanilla! Wet: Still, the vanilla and some flowers, evening flowers on a warm night. Dry: Cookies. I smell like a vanilla-rich butter cookie. A Girl Scout Trefoil, straight from the oven. I want to smell delicious, just not this kind of delicious. Back to the fruits and musks for me and this goes to swap!

One of my first frimps! In the bottle all I smell is rum. On my wrists, wet, I found the sarsparilla quickly and then it faded just as fast. Now in the dry phase I get nothing but a leather and pipe tobacco scent (which I am guessing is the salty air). It felt a bit too masculine on me... I much preferred Lysander or Nemesis in the unisex scent department so far. But I do believe this would be yummy on a man!
