Skuld is a soft, honey scent on me. The ylang ylang seems to stay in the background and adds something clean and refreshing to the blend. The musks blend in really well. It's quite a soft blend and tends to fade quite quickly on me. Overall, I like this. I am going through a phase of loving honey and this blend is defintely something that I will wear often

When I first put this the first thought that came to my mind was 'mmm, vanilla ice cream'. It becomes less foody as it dries and I can smell the antiqued amber and copal. I was scared that the amber would make this powdery on me, but it doesn't in this blend. Overall, this is a lovely, warm vanilla. I wish that I had ordered another bottle.

This 13 is mostly white chocolate on me. I wore it to work this morning and one of my co-workers commented on where the smell of chocolate was coming from. I said that it was probably me and put out my wrist for her to smell and she said it smelt really good. The longer that I wear this the sweeter and more floral it becomes. There isn't one flower which stands out from the rest here, it just all blends into a soft, sweet floral complimented by the white chocolate. This lasts all day and has pretty good throw. I am happy that I brought a bottle

On me, Lady Amalthea starts out very minty - much more minty than I was expecting. I can detect a bit of musk in there and the white chocolate. It is a very white, icy scent. Quite delicate and pretty but colder than what I thought it would be. I was expecting the florals to be more dominant but they are definately staying in the background here. As it dries down the mint starts to settle down a bit but Lady Amalthea never loses it's icy, coolness. The other main notes I can smell are the musk and white chocolate - there is the slightest hint of florals. I like Lady Amalthea but it was a much colder scent than I was expecting, it brings to mind iamges of an icy landscape.

This was a frimp from the lab On me, this is very sweet, creamy coffee from beginning to end. The coffee overpowers anything else in this blend for me. It's like a rich, milky, latte. I'm one of those strange people who doesn't drink coffee and the smell of it doesn't really appeal to me. If you like coffee or foodie scents then you will probably like Miskatonic University. It smells too sweet and foodie for my tastes though.

It wasn't exactly a favorite but I did really like Desdemona and I only have an imp left. Does anyone have any recommendations for something similar - especially containing a significant amount of Sweetpea. Desdemona is: sweet pea, carnation and water lily The only other GC that I have tried that has Sweetpea in it is Juliet. Juliet is: Sweet pea with stargazer lily, calla lily, heliotrope, honeysuckle, white musk and a touch of fresh pear. but the honeysuckle and pear don't really work on me. Any ideas or suggestions?

This was another frimp from the lab which I have had for a few months before trying. On me this is mostly Myrrh & florals. I get a slight hint of honey and skin musk. Most of the time this seems dominated by slightly soapy florals - my guess is that this is from the geranium? The longer I wear it the more the Patchouli and musk come out and the more the florals fade away. I like this best when I can smell the honey but it seems to stay in the background.

This was a frimp from the lab It has been sitting in a cabinet for a few months now and today I decided to try it. First impressions are that it has honey in it. I get the comparisons to O and maybe even Womb Furie at the beginning. It's like honey and incense, so far so good. After a 15-20 minutes I can smell the Myrrh more, (myrrh is a note that is iffy on me), in La Petite Mort it seems to be behaving itself although every now and then when I catch a whiff of my wrist it reminds me of a church . I used to go to a Catholic school and we had to attend church regularly and this scent is kind of reminding of whatever they burn in certain masses (could be myrrh or frankincense or both). Overall, very nice - a sweet, honeyish incense. The Myrrh didn't take over but it seems like it has the potential to turn powdery. I don't get anything overly sexy from this like other people have mentioned (that could just be from the church association though). I will keep the imp and see how it ages, I think that this could really grow on me Edited to add: The longer I wear this the more Myrrh takes over. I wish it stayed that nice honey incense which I got at first.

Sacred Whore of Babylon starts out really nice - a soft floral with a hint of spice. After 15 minutes or so, all I can smell is gardenia, and gardenia really doesn't work on me at all it smells like really horrible soap, not even nice soap ... It started out so well, but my skin chemistry really doesn't work well with gardenia which is a shame because I love the way it smells - just not on me.

Kathmandu is all Cedar & Lotus on me. A strange mix of the watery lotus and dry woody Cedar. My skin amps lotus and cedar, so I can't really smell much else - a bit of sandalwood in the background. Overall, it's quite a relaxing and peaceful scent, makes me think of walking through a rainforest.

A disconcerting scent, heavy and oppressive, through which no light, no matter, and no spirit can escape. Black opium, labdanum, opoponax, black orchid, and benzoin. This was a frimp from the lab with one of my orders. Event Horizon is a dark and heavy scent on my skin - very true to its description. It's strong and has good throw. I can't really pick out any notes in particular, just a sharp, perfumey fragrance. Event Horizon isn't really my thing, but I am glad that I got to try it.

This was a frimp from the lab with my last order Leanan Sidhe is green, misty, floral on my skin. It's smells clean, with the potential to turn soapy. I think that there is something slightly aquatic in Leanan Sidhe. It's ethereal and misty, but not really my thing. I will keep the imp and re-test to see if I change my mind.

Bastet was a frimp from the lab . It's not something I would ordered for myself because I generally try to stay away from Amber and Myrrh, but I am really happy that I tried this because I like it alot more than I expected too. It starts out with very warm musk and amber, there is something sweet in this too - I would have guessed honey but perhaps it is the Saffron. It smells like a beautiful, sweet incense. The Myrrh stays in the background and I can hardly detect any lotus. This is lovely the only down side is that is becomes a little powdery as it dries down but it's not as powdery as I would have expected with all of that Amber. Maybe, the musk counteracts powderiness. It reminds me a little of O, but it's not as sweet or as powdery, and the spices give Bastet a bit more depth. Overall, this is a warm, exotic scent that I am starting to become really fond of. Thanks lab for giving me a frimp of this beautiful scent or else I might not have tried it otherwise.

This is my first time trying Womb Furie - after falling in love with Snake Oil, I had to try it. This does smell quite similar to O - without the Amber (which turns powdery on me). I like the honey in this, very warm and comforting and not too sweet. I actually prefer Womb Furie to O. I get the slightest hint of Snake Oil in the background, I am not really suprised though because for some reason SO fades really quickly on me. So, I get mostly honey from Womb Furie - I would have liked more SO but I can always layer it with more SO and I also get a good alternative to O which doesn't turn to powder! I am really happy that I got a bottle of this, I think that I will wear it alot and I will definetely be getting more bottles if it comes back next year

Bread and Butter-fly smells like freshly cooked toast and melted golden butter on me. I don't get much tea from it ... just lots of toast and butter. It doesn't really change over time either. It's very true to its description, but its not something that I can imagine wearing everyday. People who like foodie blends will probably enjoy this one too

Belle Vinu is a soft delicate scent - it's mostly sandalwood and peach on my skin. I actually thought that this had musk in it until I checked, something in this turns musky on me. I like this scent, it reminds me of something from my childhood. It is slightly powdery. It will be good for days when I want to wear something natural and soft, it seems suitable for lots of different occasions. I will keep the imp and decide later on if I want to get a bigger bottle of it. Edited to add: The longer I wear Belle Vinu the more powdery it becomes, so I have decided that even though it's nice it's too powdery for me.

Titania is very fruity and sweet on me, I get mostly peach and grape with maybe a little bit of rose. It's pretty and girly, it reminds me alot of La Belle au Bois Dormant. I like this but I think that I would find it too sweet to wear all the time, I think I'll save it for certain occasions.

Have you tried Sybaris, from Wanderlust? It's violet, sweet clove & mediterranean spices, its one of my favorites. I just tried Voodoo in the weekend and it smelt very clovey on me, not sure how it smells on others.

This was a frimp from the lab and it is definetly dark and rooty! It has a very earthy smell on me. As it dries the florals come out a bit more but they still take a back seat to the dark earthiness in this. It's probably the most earthy scent that I have tried, it actually smells like gardening and digging in the dirt.

This is one of the most unusual scents I have tried. It really does smell like Coke when first applied. Later on it dries into a fizzy, ginger and lily blend. I get mostly spices from this, not much lily at all. It's interesting, and not at all what I expected it to be. I was hoping for more lily and less spice.

This is really nice Starts out with the almond and cinnamon and dries into a lovely, spicy vanilla. I can smell the frankincense in the background but it does't take over. I am so happy that I have found a vanilla that actually shows up on my skin, because in most other vanilla scents that I have tried there is always another note which dominates the vanilla. This does fade on me quite quickly though, but I am still considering getting a bottle and I am also wondering how this is aged.

This one was a frimp I tried this on before going to work one day and my overall impressions were that it was very watery and green. It comes across as quite an oceany fragrance. If you like aquatic, clean smelling scents then you will probably like Water of Notre Dame.

This starts out as patchouli and clove with a sharp hint of lime on my skin. After it settles down a bit the clove completely takes over, there is the slightest bit of vanilla and almond in the background. Clove is listed as the last note but my skin chemistry must amp it because this smells almost like pure clove on me - the kind that you use in cooking.

Like other reviewers have said the snow in this does smell like Pine. The pine begins to fade after a few minutes but it's stil there but now I can smell the peach musk and passion flower coming out and it begins to become a strange combination of sweet fruitiness mixed with pine. It takes about a good hour for this to really change into something similar to what I would have imagined it to be. The Pine has almost gone leaving a hint of snow, I can actually smell the cherry blossom and the peach and passionflower are in the background giving the slightest amount of sweetness. So, it takes a while for this to morph into something really good.

This started out so well ... stephanotis and lush white rose. A soft and elegant fragrance. I thought that I had finally found the perfect floral blend! Until about half and hour later when the Gardenia completely took over and that's all I could smell. I got told I smelt like soap .... The Gardenia ruins this for me, apart from that it could have been the floral I always wanted.
