I found Zephyr to be a very pretty and long-lasting scent. At first application, I could smell the florals and lemon predominantly, with sandalwood and vanilla in the background. Over the day it faded gradually to a sandalwood/musky scent with a light floral background. It was delightful both ways! I was also surprised at how long it lasted, considering what a light fragrance it is- 12 hours since application, and I can still smell a faint musk on my wrist. I am definitely keeping the imp, and may buy a 5 mL when I get the chance!

I also would recommend no perfume, or using it as sparingly as possible. Since you asked about specific options, though, I voted for Calliope- having smelled it myself, I know that it is lovely and non-traditional without being too non-traditional. I wouldn't use anything with sandalwood, incense, patchouli, etc.- your interviewers may have associations with those scents that you wouldn't want attached to you as a job interviewee. In addition, these tend to be stronger scents in general, and people usually have pretty strong reactions to them, whether positive or negative. Good luck with the interview!

In the bottle: Tamora smelled sweet and fruity, but not so much so that it was overwhelming. I could also detect a floral note, but I'm not advanced enough to be able to distinguish distinct oils yet. Applying: The fruitiness was pretty strong at first- although I could not particularly place it as peach, the initial smell was definitely sharp and sweet. I found it to be a bit overwhelming at first- this isn't one of the scents that I have to sniff up close at all! 20 minutes later: Usually at this point things are starting to mellow out- not the case this time! Tamora is still pretty strong. The sharp element has left, however, leaving a rather pretty peach floral. I can tell, too, that this will have some staying power on me- the sweet scents seem to last forever, for some reason. I like this and I will use it again, but I'm going to have to give it a few more tries before deciding on a larger bottle.

In the bottle: I was not pleased with the smell- it was way too sharp for me, and that's coming from someone who LOVES lavender, violet, and vetiver. At first application: This is definitely a man's scent- it's not bad, but way too sharp and too masculine for me. The lavender is a bit medicinal in this phase, too. Within 20 minutes: The oils always dry quickly on me, as I don't apply much. I am much more impressed now. The lavender has softened to a smooth and soft floral scent that mixes very well with the violet, and the vetiver is there but has definitely faded into the background. There's a faint hint of the musk, but it's not very noticeable. Lavender and violet are the strongest notes to me. I'm not sure that I would wear this myself again, because it's still a masculine scent to me, and I am usually a fan of very feminine scents- but I wouldn't object to smelling it on a guy at all , and I may keep my imp and see if I can make a linen spray out of it. It is a very clean scent, with somewhat dark and sexy elements underneath.

This is absolutely an amazing scent. I wasn't sure about it when I first opened the bottle- it smelled like it could be too sweet for me, and I'm not really into wearing scents that smell very foody or very sweet. When I put it on, though.....it's wonderful! It's a fabulous sweet floral with a smoky smell in the background. Although I don't smell leaves so much, I can understand other's comments, as it's reminding me of fall in Williamsburg, VA, where I went to college. I'm a-keepin' this bottle. ETA: Ooh, the apple just popped out at me about 20 minutes after application. This is only getting better! Final edit: Samhain won't go away! Not that I want it to...but I put it on yesterday afternoon, have tried Bluebeard on my arm, taken a bath with Lush products, and I can still smell it faintly on my wrist! WOW!

Perhaps my nose needs an adjustment...I thought this smelled like a fir-scented gingerbread man. It's a good smell, a nice comforting smell that I would love to have around in November and December while preparing for the holidays. It didn't last so long on me -3 hours and it's mostly faded, but I didn't put on very much at all. The drydown was nice, though- the sharper notes faded with time and a light, spicy scent is left.

This smelled exactly the same to me in the bottle and on my skin- a sweet cherry-almond-berry smell that I enjoyed greatly. I'm not experienced enough to identify separate notes, but I can also tell that something is holding the sweet scents back a bit- which is a good thing! Lasted for about six hours last night, although I'd have to test again to be sure of that. I didn't notice many differences between the wet phase, dry-down, and the completely dry phase- but my nose is not used to paying so much attention! Bordello did not waft around me, either, but seemed to stick close to my skin. My friend said that I smelled "like a hippie or a store where drug paraphernalia is sold," but liked it okay. As for the candle comment- this actually reminds my of my all-time favorite candle, a Yankee Candle called Kentucky Blend. It was made to smell like pipe tobacco- the perfume smells much better, but they share a similar quality of sweetness with something deeper underneath. I'm going to wait for my first full order of Imps before I decide where this one belongs on the list. I'll definitely enjoy the Imp, though!

Tried this last night...it smelled wonderful and strongly of oranges coming out of the bottle. I was a bit disappointed once it dried on my skin, though. I had the opposite experience of Shrieking Violet- I liked smelling it around me better than smelling it directly on my skin. After it dried, the up-close smell was orange-scented baby powder- very soft, but I haven't really liked the smell of baby powder for several years now. I liked it around me because I got more of the "creamsicle" scent then. It does last though- as I'm typing this 12 hours later, I can still smell vanilla on my wrist!
