Sorry that this one is so short, but the effect I get when it's dry is simple: autumn leaves, chill air, warm spiced apples. It's beautiful! I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars.

Blood Moon is amazing. I was worried about this because of the cinnamon. I thought it would overpower everything else. But instead it's just blends and mixes perfectly with the other notes. It's definitely "red", warm, and lunar. Magical. As it dries I smell a red sandalwood, light incense and woods, and the spices. The scent "tingles" in a good way. I started with an imp, bought two morei imps. Then a third. Then a bottle. (Can you tell I fell in love with it?) I give Blood Moon a 5 out of 5 stars. (Also to note: I generally get red welts from cinnamon, but not Blood Moon).

Whoah there! I mean, whoah. Beaver Moon is definitely a foody scent. Not a surprise given the description. But I didn't expect it to smell so perfectly like golden yellow cupcakes. Since there's a cheesecake type of note in there, it adds to the smell of the golden yellow cupcakes...the scent of frosting. You know, the fluffy buttercream kind that's perhaps made with a dab of sour cream in it. Delicious! Makes my mouth water! If I were a foody person (scent-wise) I'd give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars!

There's something in this that's very sharp, crisp. As it dries down, I get more of a calming effect, and then there's a touch of something light, green, and herbal. I can't tell what it is. And I'm not sure if it's the oil or my body chemistry but it seems to have almost a sour or bitter note to it. I keep wavering between liking this or disliking this. I will have to think on it for a couple of hours.

First I have to say: Oh, WOW. I mean. Wow. The moment I smelled this I thought it might be love, and I have gone through piles of imps without having anything touch my top 3 favorites. But this one has been added to my favorites. Wet: very tart and fruity. Definitely cranberry. Dry: tart, cranberry...but so many more layers. I get a slight musk, a bit of floral, and something that reminds me of the faintest incense. It's not strong. It's just enough to counterbalance the fruitiness of the cranberry. Overall, this scent is bouyant and uplifting yet very sophistocated. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars, and I'm buying a bottle the moment I have the $$ to!!

I'm not sure what it is about this, but it doesn't work for me. I've tried it on a couple of ocassions to see if I will find something I like after drydown. But no. I end up getting a varied result. Sometimes I think the peach is too strong. Mostly I think I smell like buttered popcorn with a slight nutty smell to it. I'm not a foody person to begin with, but I thought I'd like the pumpkin. I gave this a 1 out of 5. If you're not very into foody scents, this isn't for you.

This was nice and dry, slightly floral, and slightly aquatic. After I had been wearing this for about an hour I started smelling a number of woods. The combination of the woods and slight aquatic note was nice, even though aquatics usually leave me nauseated. The woods made me think of a cold, dark forest at night. Very nice. I gave this a 3 out of 5. I will keep an imp on hand, but I'm not worried about obtaining more than that.

I got a frimp of this and fell in love! It has such a wild, vibrant scent to it. I can detect a lot of carnation, warmth, berries, and a touch of spice at the end. They all swirl together nicely. Very uplifting. In my personal review sheet, I gave this a 4 out of 5 stars!

Initially it smelled just like those golden butterscotch hard candies. Then I figured out what it *really* reminded me of: Bailey's Irish Cream. Slightly boozy, mostly rich and candied. It wasn't too strong, lasted a few hours but faded more than most BPAL scents do. I'd give it a 3 out of 5 for those that like foody scents.

White, light, musky, powdery. For a small period of time, just after drying, it smelled like baby powder and baby oil on me. But that went away shortly and after an hour of wearing it I began to smell more of the citrus and florals. Very nice and uplifting. Breezy, if I may. I give this a 3 out of 5 stars (which is pretty good IMO; anything 3 and higher is kept on hand in my horde). ADDED Nov. 27: I tried this and liked it, though it went very powdery for a while. Overall, it's nice and light and very pretty but it didn't WOW me. I would call it good but nondescript. Maybe 2 out of 5 stars? The one thing I had to share, though, is what I smelled when I spilled this onto my little notebook: baby oil and baby powder. When I was young (and dumb) I used to suntan every summer, and my friends and I would slather baby oil all over our legs and arms to help us tan faster. Zephyr smells like baby oil to me. And now I smell it whenever I open my notebook. O_o

Mmm. At first it seemed a bit powdery but after it dried it was pure golden amber, warmth, with a touch of light florals. It made me think of the color orange and gold, which makes sense to me re: strength, personal power (2nd and 3rd chakras are orange and yellow). I'd give this 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Slightly sweet, very smoky, very incense-like without being overpowering. I like the light amount of almond that's in it. It seems that all the scents in it mingle together in a very complimentary way. Hecate is probaby in my top 10 list. I *heart* it.

This is a nice scent. It's so hard to describe, but it's light and playful. It makes me think of islands and Hawaiian flowers and a touch of warmth from the ginger. Tropical. Summery. Very nice. It's among my favorites.

This is perfect all around. It gave me warm shivers and much delight. I love the amber and almond combination, and the myrrh rounds it out nicely. It makes me think of magical things, love, warmth, glowing, and of course, Egypt. This got my rare 5 out of 5 stars (less than 3% of my tested oils get this high, most are 4 or below) and I want a bottle!

Oh, I thought this was perfect all around. It was one that kept me smiling all day, I loved it so much. Warm, gentle, floral, jasmine, slightly aquatic, slightly magical (myrrh?). I gave this 5 out of 5 stars, which is a rating reserved for only the best of the best.

Initially, ylang ylang. Just after applying and for the first hour: jasmine and sweetness with a strong floral something. After a couple of hours: started turning strange on me. It started to remind me of grass and vetiver and somethign slightly bitter. If it hadn't made the bad turn after a couple of hours, I would say it was perfect. But alas, I can't keep it. 2 out of 5 stars.

In the bottle/wet: It's strong. It reminded me of a men's cologne. Sort of acrid. Behind all that, if I searched, I could smell a bit of water and aquatic notes. Drying: Better. I couldn's smell the overpowering men's cologne any more. This turned into a perfect oceanic, salty, water scent. In fact, it bordered on being too aquatic because I could *almost* smell something fishy. This isn't my favorite. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars. I'd keep a sample on hand, but wouldn't buy a bottle.

Initial sniff: I was disappointed. It smelled citrus to me, in a way that reminded me of cleaning products and lemon pledge. BUT THEN! Dry: as this dried down I suddenly got a light floral, very uplifting and warm, and I kept thinking of the words warm, golden, sparkling, and sun. It definitely fits. A keeper!

Okay, when I got this I was so worried that it was going to smell too masculine for me. I don't know why I thought that, except that it was The Magician. Anyway, this scent has such a magical power to it. I mean, it was warm but not too spicy. I can smell woods in it which makes me think of a soft woodsy incense. I could wear this every day. I will definitely buy a bottle once my sample runs out.

Sweet, sharp, and the best way I can describe it is "a BURST of floral". Very uplifting.
-
Oh, wow. I really like this. At first I was disappointed because scents with a lot of rose in them don't do well on me. They also tend to remind me of grandma perfume. *shrug* But this one! This is the first actual rose scent I've really liked. Behind the roses I smell something warm (amber?) and something that reminds me of green leaves or green stems. It's very nice.

The first thing I noticed was the mint in it, but I didn't find it overpowering. As it dried, I started smelling light spring florals, very soft. I didn't get any fruitiness, but the non-mint part of it was definitely light and tangy like some fruit scents can be. The overall scent reminded me of something but I can't put my finger on it. Something about the floral part of it reminds me of lilacs on a summer evening, with perhaps a touch of lily in it and maybe just a pinch of something green/earthy. When combined with the light, cool mint, it's really nice. I will keep my samples for sure, and I just might buy a bottle.
