CCCLXXXVI #386 Herbal pine = green scent

When I first applied this wet, I said mmmm chocolate. I looked up the notes and there is no chocolate in this blend. I think it is the vanilla and sandalwood blending together that I inhaled. As it is drying down, it is strong vanilla - beautiful and powdery. I can actually smell each note of this blend. Great job Beth!! Drydown on me: Vanilla and dry woods.

Mad Meg: I tend to like the masculine scents rather than the "pink" sweet scents but Mad Meg was a little too dry for my liking. There is no bit of sweet in this scent. It fits the name.

I should have known this one wasn't going to work on me. Anything too sweet goes rancid on my skin but the tobacco lured me in . Unfortunately, there was not enough tobacco from this being anything but sweet on my skin.

When I read the description I didn't jump to get this scent because of all of the flowers. I was afraid this was going to be one of those sharp floral blends. Boy, was I wrong!! It's odd but the flowers blend so well together that it seems not really all that floral. Is not sharp at all. I want a bottle of this one!

This is the first Aquatic scent that I have fallen in love with from BPAL. Sea of Glass is simply beautiful and invigorating. Makes me feel very feminine and calm at the same time. Upon sniffing the oil in the bottle, I can smell each individual note but as with MB: Closet where the black berry took over. The cassis took over with this scent and continued to be strong and sharp. ::since added cassis/cinnamon to the blackberry does not like my skin list:::

When the monster baits came out I had such HIGH HIGH hopes for them to work with my skin chemistry. In the bottle, this smells delicious edible almost. When applied to my skin, the blackberry completely takes over this scent. It is so sharp that I cannot smell any of the creamy cake. I hoped the blackberry would fade and let the creamy cake come forward but this scent stayed sharp on my skin. I had to wash it off I have come to learn that blackberry and I have a bad relationship.
