Can anyone tell me if the night blooming flowers in this are at all similar to the night blooming flowers in snow white?? Thanks!! (I just won a bottle on Ebay, and I will probably answer this question myself when it arrives, and will add my review!) ETA: just got my bottle, the flowers do not smell similar to snow white at all, but it smells exactly as described! Sweet flowers and sugared incense! A very beautiful scent!!

You may also want to try white chocolate strawberry 2009 from The chocolates...the creaminess of the white chocolate Makes it smell more like strawberry ice cream than choco dipped strawberries IMO.

Fisrt - Happy Birthday! I voted for Blue Moon 2012, because so many notes in that one seemed like a win, but that being said, I betcha they are all amazing. I think my second choice would have to be Blauer Mond, because pretty much anything Brian Makes is Genius, so...

has anyone else had a skin reaction to this? I put this on this morning, because I have been in a FALL mood for the last few days...and my husband asked "what happened to your neck?!?" I had red patches within moments of it touching my skin. It didn't burn, maybe it itched just a tiny bit, but not enough that I had even noticed anything until he pointed it out, and I looked in the mirror - I so love this scent though :cries:

I can pick out all 4 notes in this blend - when first applied, it's mostly the chocolate and wood with a slight floral undertone that emerges first. As it begins to dry, the rose comes out a bit more, but it's not super strong, or "in your face". It's definitely grounded by the chocolate and the wood. As it continues to settle, the plum begins to emerge, and lend a bit if fruity sweetness. I adore this blend, it's not foody, despite the chocolate. It's really well blended, and it just a great combination!

Rose Red!! That one smells to me like a fresh from the florist longstem red rose...beautiful!

Oh! don't know why I didn't think of it before - Halloween: Las Vegas! definitely has the incense, and the sugar! smells like sangria, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and incense! ~Bree

If you liked Temple Viper, I would also give Tombeur from the Vamps don't sleep alone section - it wears very similarly to temple viper on me - and it's super sexy!

This was pretty much my experience with it too!! I didn't detect any pine or lavender - it was beautiful! It was actually, a little on the aquatic floral side on me! (I would have expected an aquatic scent, since Aquarius is the water bearer)...and I bought this, because like others, I'm also an Aquarius (Feb 5th FTW!)

Woods in winter is an LE if you can find it Oborot and ondurdis also were really woodsy to me!

This smells (to me) like a cross between aged morocco perfume, and Antique Lace! Instant love.

I have dies and gone to Hippie/vanilla Heaven! This is so unbelievable awesome...I think this just sky rocketed into my top 3 of all time! The vanilla is SOOO smooth...like just perfect. It doesn't go plasticky, it's not foody, but it is sweet and creamy. The patch is mellow, gritty, and woodsy, and just stunning mingled with the vanilla. So glad I got my hands on this!

I think I would have to say: Blood - this had a really unnerving quality to it - it actully did make me think of blood! creepy! U Mutter Museum - smells like old formaldehyde and dead things to me.

I am with you on this one! To my nose, it smells like old formaldehyde - I brings me right back to being a lab assistant in the science building in College, and having to refil the specimen jars *barf* I also couldn't wash it off fast enough. Though it's funny, if I put that thought out of my mind, I cna definitely smell the green grass scent, and the other notes...it's just how they mesh, it smells to close to formaldehyde for my liking. Pretty appropriate for the Mutter museum though!

This smells like the beach! It's a mix of Gardenia and that old school hawaiian tropic suntain oil I used to use back in the day (now I'm all about sunblock SPF 50! ) anyway, the vanilla bean sort of just softens the coconut and the tiare...I don't pick it up as a sweet creamy note at all. But it's a fantastic summer scent! These glosses work awesome in my hair too - I spritz it on my hands and run my hands through my damp hair, staying a bit away from my roots, and close to my scalp. My hair dries with a wonderful scent, and it keeps my hair sleek rather than frizzing out! I used this, and then wore Elegba as my perfume oil of choice to pair it with - it was SCRUMPTIOUS! I imagine Obatala would also be a good match!

I recently acquired a decant of this, and it smells very similar to a creamy version of Pink Sugar! Me likey!

This is gorgeous, though it is a bit baby-powderish on me, at first, then I get a *hint* of lemon peaking out and then it sort of morphs into this darker version of snake Oil...except it doesn't have the red musk, it's like it's definitely one of the compnents of SO, with a vanilla-ish softness (coming from the amber). I really like this! I am testing this lab fresh by the way, I am thinking this will age Beautifully!

OMG, sharkdiver!! You were the most beautiful bride ever!! (And hubby's quite a looker too! ) I wish I had known about BPAL before my wedding, as it would have been amazing to select the perfect oil. And Snow White was a great choice for you...your picture actually reminded me of Snow White! Aww! Thank you sweetie!! Snow white is definitely my most favorite BPAL scent!

White Rabbit also evokes this: Strong black tea and milk with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla, spilled over the crisp scent of clean linen.

Dragon's bone, and dragon's milk are my two confidence booster scents!

I got married last September (2011) and wore snow white!!! Everytime I smell it, it brings me right back to my wedding day.

I would suggest: The gladdener of all hearts (baby powder, milk and honey are actually notes in this blend!) Antique lace (if you can get your hands on some!) if very sofft, creamy, and smells a little bit like a feminine sort of powder. Blossoms in Springtime also had a similar effect as AL, but with a tad more floral blended in.
