So Lucky to have gotten this from someone who didn't like it and was selling it for cheap on Ebay.. I *adore* this scent. Its all buttery carmel sugary notes on me.. with a touch of vanilla.. and fried dough in the background. Its 6 hours and the scent is still present, but not terribly overpowering.. I love it.. and though I dont know how much it will get worn this summer, this is perfect for the slightly chilled air as we move into spring.. thick and heavy but comforting and fun.

It is almost like you are digging down to the heart buried under the floorboards with this scent.. in the bottle theres something off about this.. something deep. on my skin theres a dirty note to it.. one that warms up slightly with a hint of chocolate.. and as that warms and dries and warps.. its as if the pulsing beating heart is revealed.. the sweet notes of dragons blood wrapped in that dirty chocolate finish this scent up for me. Definately one of my favorites of this pack so far..

So I walked out of my room after applying this oil tonight.. my roomate was on the couch watching firefly.. I was getting ready for work and she stopped to ask what I was wearing.. why "Because it smells really soft and gentle, I like that alot on you." Im wary of florals. But March is my Birthday Month, so I *had* to get the March Moon Oil.. and thankfully it doesn't get flowery on me. Though its certainly greener than the other scents I adore.. and its definately lighter than the others i wear.. Cant wait to see how this works as a room scent as well. On my skin.. the bamboo pulp, white sandalwood, chamomile and poppy seem to hold the notes together.. and hold my nose to my wrist.

Got a frimp of this and I have to say.. a bottle is likely going to be ordered with the Lunacy update at 3am EST. Heh. Soo.. Upon first cracking the frimp open it was all cinnamon but there was a note I (like others) couldn't identify.. it was intriguing though so i dabbed a bit on each wrist and .. well .. yeah. Unfortunately its not a scent that lasts All Night Long on me.. but im thinking that's ok. Id be happy to carry with and reapply.. or be convinced to not leave the house at all.. and hence.. well.. not need to reapply. Cinnamon and something green.. earthy.. without being 'dirty'..

In the bottle this was a bit sweeter than I was expecting.. only once it got on me.. Mmm. It darkens up a bit.. the musks begin to come out.. with a touch of booze and sugar.. and yes.. Vanilla. Which made me quite quite happy.. Its like sex after lots of Vanilla Stoli and Cokes.. or Vanilla Martinis.. all warm tingly boozey sugary slut.. err.. smut. BPAL is not the only one who <3s teh Smut.

This is everything I hoped Puck would be.. Civet apparently works on me.. whereas the Moss note in Puck soured that blend for me pretty quickly. In the bottle I was nervous about how Animal it smelled.. but put it on me and let the amber warm up and this this quickly became a nuzzling scent.. one of those Up Close and Personal Scents. A scent Im going to enjoy wearing.. and going to enjoy other people enjoying me wearing.

This one bit my wrist.. I was worried, because even the cinnamon blends don't have me rubbing at the spots where it went on. It was also pretty woodsy and sharp at first.. However, I decided to wait it out a few.. and Im glad I did.. it stopped biting and the woodsy notes mellowed as the vanilla and the amber stepped forward. Its now this amazingly wonderful scent that Im enjoying immensely. Soft, insistent, masculine.

So.. with a certain someone becoming my enabler and fueling my addiction.. And with my LJ becoming a place to track purchases and waiting.. and desiring of more.. Two other friends decided to surprise me with Seamus.. And he's clutching a bottle of Hellion.. all for me. I *adore* this scent on me.. its slightly fruity with a hint of spice and mischief.. its light, and playful, but slightly wicked smelling. Its got a strong throw at first that mellows after a few hours into becoming a teasing hint of fragrance. So yes.. if i wear this out, it may require reapplying.. but when its just for me.. well.. I think thats between Seamus and I. # 31 / 300 for the curious.

All red hot fiery cinnamon.. mellowed by the Clove and Pepper as it drys down.. I adore this scent on me.

This is much lighter than I expected.. Especially given the description and the inspiriation for this one. There's an initial powdery phase on me that mellows somewhat as the Amber warms up to my skin. There's a hint of spice and a very very soft floral note. It's masculine, but refined, gentle. When my roomate sniffed my wrist, her eyes sparkled and she was like "Got a date?" So Im assuming this is the type of scent I could wear out for a low key night, cocktails and long conversation, followed by snuggling.. leading us to our own dreams of where Heaven meets the Earth. Itll take a few more wears for me to love this scent, but its definately a hit.. and goes in the "for certain occasions" pile.

Well.. another one i was prepared to not like at all. But I craved owning all three phoenixes.. and figured this would be one I could hook some of my girls on.. (yay enabling) However.. I get the same sickly sweet strawberry notes upon bottle opening.. but they mellow out on my skin. Its a fun scent. Something Id wear rarely. But the very faint vanilla cheers me up and the 'drizzled' strawberry is just that.. Drizzled.. all sugary thick at first, but once stirred up a bit it floats along rather nicely.

im very glad i ordered this without reading the opinions of everyone else.. i like it. Its definately foresty on me.. the earthtones and moss notes are crystal clear.. and the grape and juniper hide amongst them. Though I wish there was a clearer grape tone ~ and so ill be wearing it longer to see how it settles out on me. I have to admit though, that im much more a foodie than a woodsie scent lover.. and so I think this may end up a gift for a friend who definately plays with Puck like energy.. Me? Im more.. Satyr.. which should be at my house in oh.. a few weeks.

In the bottle: Sugary Vanilla.. Wet: The Vanilla mellows a bit and theres other layers there.. cinnamon.. almost fresh out of the oven. Drydown: It almost gets a burnt note on me.. Overall: I like it, definately will wear it when it suits the right mood. But the devil left the oven on a bit longer than I like my cookies. Its not a soft and sugary scent on me like I was hoping it would be. The edges are crispy.. and theres a burnt carmel note to em.

In the bottle: All buttery.. spiced.. pumpkin.. Wet: This is a potent brew.. all Autumn Spice with something hidden in the darkness. It lingers and catches you unaware, though its strong while wet. It reminds me of the wet leaves under autumn rains.. all clinging to one another.. rot.. rebirth. Drydown: Its like being wrapped in your favorite sweatshirt while walking down your street with that 3am Autumn Fog and the stars bright above.. Jack O Lanterns lit and glowing menacingly from porches. Comforting and less sharp, while still managing to catch you unawares. Overall: I adore this scent. Huge compliments when I wear it.. "mmms" as my friends lean in for a sniff or wonder who smells so good when we gather. This is my first 10ml order.
