When I tried this before it reminded me of Tarot: The Star because I thought it just went straight to lemon and that was it but upon the 2nd time I realize now it's definitely not lemon. In the imp: Holy citrus! On me: I smell like I spilled orange juice on myself. I love fruity scents, but I dunno about this. I'm not smelling the lovely white tea that I hoped for and hell I'm not even smelling pepper or orange blossom. I think Kumquat has taken a bit of fondness for me and I'm not sure it's returned. It's reminding me a bit of Swank actually with the orange candy smell, but this is more juicy than candy. Verdict: I have no idea.

I walked into this one with extreme caution. I couldn't resist the merlot and leather, but I know that musk and roses usually turns into an absolute nightmare on me. Violet and myrtle are neutral. That being said... In the imp: GRAPES! Seriously it smells like grape juice. That's not a bad thing in my opinion. I love the fruity. On me. Mmm I still smell grapes. But where's the leather?! Usually leather comes out really strong on me in an oh so good, I wanna do naughty things to myself way. Now I'm smelling some floral too, but it's not roses it must be the violet. So the merlot and violet are what are predominant on me here. I like it! If it has any staying power, then it's a keeper.

In the imp: almonds! I must mimic what someone else said and say this does smell exactly like the almonds selled at Ren. Faires. Made me hungry. I'm really not getting all that much spice from this. I'm just getting almonds, I'm not even getting honey because honey goes plastic on me usually. It's now been 5 minutes since I put this on and it's quickly slipping away. I don't this is going to last much longer on me at all. So this might be getting swapped/sold out. Overall while it lasted though: Meh. I like almonds, but I think I prefer to smell more perfumed than this.

In the imp, it smells like dirt mixed with incense. On me... this is very uneloquent but honestly? It smells like dirt. Perhaps living in the desert for 16 years has made me bitter but I really don't want to smell like dirt. Slowly it morphs more into the incense and sandalwood smells but I still can't escape the dirt smell. It's not that I mind patchouli, I just don't think I like patchouli when it's mixed with other dark scents. :/

In the imp it smells pretty, very sweet but if I concentrate more I get a very disconcerting smell that I'm not fond of. As soon as I put it on, that disconcerting smell comes on me full force. Now usually honey scents turn straight to plastic on me but with this it instead turns to DISHSOAP. Not soapy but a very sweet in a very bad way type of soapy that you would find in dishsoap or maybe deodorant. Yuck. It doesn't smell bad I guess, but it completely overpowers me with the scent of washing dishes that I couldn't stand it anymore and washed it off. This is going far far away from me.

In the imp I smell opium, lily of the valley, and mandarin. (I can never smell sandalwood no matter how much I try. And the vanilla isn't very strong to me.) When I put it on, I could swear it contains musk even though it doesn't. It must be the opium. Then the lily of the valley starts to come out, which I'm not as fond of lily of the valley as I am of other types of lilies. Then again I'm not very fine tuned when it comes to florals. This is the 2nd time I am trying this and from what I remember from the first time, it eventually fades and turns powdery, so I'm waiting to see if it does that again. Meh. It's one of those scents that I'm right on the line between keeping and swapping out.

Gorgeous!! This wasn't even on my wishlist and I would have never considered it because it contains musk. Usually musk overpowers me. In the imp it smells a bit dark, but one me it sweetens up a lot and the cranberry mixed with lily combo is absolutely divine. I never would have thought I would like this scent, but I love it.

In the imp it is berry with green undertones to it. On me it sweetens up a lot, and very berryish sort of like Bordello is but doesn't smell anything like Bordello. Sort of like Lady Macbeth without the wine with a hint of green. What I find remarkable is usually scents containing musk completely overwhelm me and I usually hate all musk besides white musk, but this didn't do that! I can't even smell the musk in it actually. I also hate green scents and although I get a bit of green, it still smells great. I love berry scents and this is definitely a lovely berry scent. LOVE IT.

I remember I got this one in a pack of 12 imps and I had sniffed each one in it's vial and this one was my favorite smelling. In the imp though. I like many of the peach scents and peach always seems to go a sugary slightly sweet, nice smell on me. Not really like peaches much, but more like... can't really describe it but it's a unique smell that I love. This one however smells exactly like the fruit. That's good, although I think I prefer a couple of other peach smells over this one. Such as Fae and Tamora. It's nice though!!

A tribute to the opium den cum bawdyhouses of Shanghai in the 1930’s. Golden amber, blonde tobacco, Sudanese black coconut, rich caramel, black currant, white opium and delphinium laced with a sensual blend of Asian spice. Wow, I could of swore I already reviewed this but I guess I didn't. Weird. O.o It reminds me of Perversion (which is sex in a bottle), but it's much much sweeter and Perversion has a very dry feel and this is warmer (from the amber), more happy and not so naughty. It has the same butter rum quality that Elegba does but not as boozy, it's innocent caramel. It takes on something of it's own though, a sort of brown sugar and spice. Bpal's coconut never shows up on me for some reason. I absolutely love it. It's my favorite LE, hands down.

I got this as a freebie and considering I suffer from depression, my heart swelled. (Yes I'm a dork) I was hoping I would love it and it would be a miracle oil that will make me endlessly happy. Sadly all I got was roses. I think that's roses anyway. Roses tend to overpower everything else that is in a perfume when I wear it. I also smell something very green and I don't like green scents either. This was supposed to make me happy! Ah well, hope it makes other people happy.

I usually hate masculine scents, but when it comes to leather I cannot resist. It's just like in my dear Perversion, suddenly my mind goes straight into the gutter. (Or err... farther down into the gutter, maybe into the sewer) This is sex. Hot, raw SEX. I knew this was pretty much going to be like a leather single note. Being realistic even though I love the leather, I know I will feel a bit awkward wearing something this strong out of the house. But WOW, the layering potential of this beauty is endless. I am going to have so much fun seeing what innocent little perfumes I can make absolutely naughty.

Hmmm. I could swear this is a honey single note. For some reason, the amber and vanilla are not coming out on me at all. It's just honey. That's not bad, I like honey. I do however like my scents a bit more complex than this. So I'm not sure what I'll do with it. I just got it today, so I may have to wear it a few more times to be sure. Nice, but definitely not "O" worthy yet unless it changes dramatically on me overnight.

I was so worried I wouldn't like this one! But I definitely did. About a day before I tried this one, I had tried another that contained honeysuckle. I could smell the delicious honeysuckle but it was covered by jasmine. I can't remember which one that was, Eos? Hmm I don't know, but I had almost put up with the horrid jasmine just so I could smell the honeysuckle underneath. Then Lolita came along without any nasty jasmine spoiling it and I was so happy!! Plus I think I'm fond of heliotrope. Lovely.

Oh Jailbait, you dissappointed me so. This is one of the most genius names for a perfume. It was one of the perfumes that the very first time I had came on BPAL it made me think "this place rocks". In the imp wafts a strong scent of pink bubblegum and I'm not all that fond of smelling like bubblegum unless something balances it out, so I hoped the other scents would. It didn't, it only made it worse. On me it turned into strong pink bubblegum mixed with cherry. I didn't get any of the womanly perfume that I was hoping would keep it from being a scent that a 5 year old would love. But not on me. It was too sickly sweet and throughout the day it just made me sick to my stomach.

I love fruity scents and this is a scent that is all fruit, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with that right? Wrong. It quickly becomes very dark on me to the point that it smells like the fruit is rotting. That really sucks, cause I thought this would be a safe scent for me to like! I don't know, my skin usually likes fruit. Maybe it doesn't like the neroli. But yes, this is going away. Hopefully a friend will enjoy it.

I love fruity scents, but this didn't work at all. It smells like potpurri (I spelled that wrong didn't I). That's nice if you want to smell like that, but it reminds me of grandmas. It smells like my grandma's house used to smell like or if you walked into a candle shop. It's definitely fruity, but there's something else in here something spicy that is making it not so good to me. Then I had to go out for a special occassion and I wanted to smell my best so I layered Lady Macbeth over it and then it was much better. But the fact that I didn't want to wear it out kind of said that this will likely be getting swapped/sold.

It smells oddly enough like the love child of Fae and Tamora, BUT Fae and Tamora are peach and this is apricot. That's the main difference. It smells just as beautiful as the 2 peach favorites of mine, but the apricot is a nice change from the peach. It replaced Depraved as my favorite apricot scent. I love it.

I had to try this one twice. The first time I put a little dab on and I could barely smell anything! I smelled something fruity floral, but that was it and then it was gone. So I tried it again. This time I put a lot more on and there's something in this that is disagreeing with my skin. I don't know what it is, because I thought I liked all 3 notes that are in this. I love all boozy scents, I like pears, I like plumeria or so I thought. But something turned really floral almost like jasmine and I'm guessing it's the plumeria that doesn't like me. Bleh. I didn't like it; I'm most likely selling/swapping out this one.

I really, really like this one. I had ordered it in the same batch as Manila and I was worried from their descriptions that they would be similar, but I was soo wrong. This is waaaaaaaaay better than Manila. I love fruity scents and this is definitely that. But it's not sour, or even really sweet. It's really mellow. Bananas and melons kind of mellow. Very tropical and reminds me of a quiet beach. Definitely a keeper.

I got this one because I try just about all boozy scents. I've drank a Cosmo before and wasn't that fond of the drink, but if I were to pour it on myself; I'd probably like it. With that in mind... the booze really didn't come out on me. That's a shame. The juniper didn't come out either and that is GOOD, because I hate juniper. Actually it smells a lot like Swank. With Swank I had characterized it as orange sugary candy, and this is the same except cranberry instead of orange. Not my favorite, but I didn't dislike it. Keeping the imp.

I had initially requested Blood Lotus from a friend, but it turns out it was Black Lotus that she had. In the imp - It oddly enough smells a bit like bubblegum gone demented. Not bad. On me- Still picking up a slight bubblegum smell, but there's something much richer and deeper. It's slightly nauseating to me, but it's not horrible. There's a definitely goldness there as well from the amber. Hmm. I'm not too sure about this one.

I had no idea what this was going to smell like. I tried it on and the #1 note that came out? Rose. I hate roses. But there's something else there too, it's a very green type of rose. Possibly juniper perhaps? I'm not sure, but I didn't like it. I had my husband sniff it to see if he'd be irresistably drawn to me and he just shrugged and walked away. But actually? Who needs a love oil when there's sooooooooooo many decadent, irresistable scents that bpal offers? THAT will get the required results much more than this one will I would think. I've had my husband all over me when I've worn half of my bpal collection. So I think there's better scents in the sea. ;p

In the imp I smelled amber and a slight pine smell. I hate masculine scents. I especially hate both pine and juniper. So I didn't even want to try it on, but I'm determined to try every scent even if I know 100% that I won't like it. On me - Pine and juniper. Very very very masculine. It actually burned my skin which is the 2nd scent that has done that (the other being Santo Domingo). Good thing I only tried a miniscule amount! Definitely not for me. EDIT: Looking at the other reviews. YES! It smells exactly like Carmex. Thought that smelled familiar!

I love apricot and much like peach, it smells good on me and lasts a really long time. Normally I wouldn't wear patchouli unless there was something something sweet tempering it and that is definitely the case with Depraved. The apricots and patchouli is a wonderful combination. It's a dirty sweetness. It strikes a raw sensuality chord with me.
