I can't believe I haven't reviewed this one yet. Somehow, I have 3 imps of this - 2 lab frimps, and a swap frimp. My older imps have a much stronger herbal smell than the newest one, in which I can detect the grape very strongly. I really enjoy this scent - it's herbal and fruity, with a lovely feminine floral underneath. It's nice and understated, perfect for some of my days at work. I think my imps will hold me for a while, as I don't go to it as often as it derserves, but it's truly lovely.

Mmm...chocoriffic. I smell like fondue. It's very yummy. Both my husband and I are enjoying it.

Laginappe from the lab. In the imp, this was lovely cherries and almonds. On my skin, though, it turned straight to soap, with an undertone of something unpleasant. I'm going to have to give this another try at a different point in my cycle, though....it should, by all rights, work on me. If not, it's off to swaps.

I knew I'd love this, and I was right. It was wonderfully musky and fruity, and then the patchouli came out to play. I couldn't stop sniffing my arm. This one's definitely going to get better with time, and I might have to order a second bottle, I love it so much. -
Delightfully refreshing! Lime and tea and aloe. It's delicious, and it's a perfect day after scent. It made my husband's eyes light up, too, which is unusual. Definitely a keeper!

CTIII MXXVIII (1028) Hello fruit! It's a very sweet, raspberryish scent. I can't place what it reminds me of, although it might be raspberry gum of some sort. I dig it, but it definitely needs a few more tries before I can make a decision, as it's not the kind of scent I'd pick up on my own - I'm definitely a spicy/incensy/musk fan.

I've been working with HtP and Blockbuster lately, trying to bash through this mental block and finish my scripts. The two mixed together smell pleasantly creamy and herbal, and there's a fruitiness to HtP (I usually put that on first) that I enjoy, but since I wear it purposefully, as long as it doesn't send me into migraine-land, I'm not going to care. I had a few false starts...kinda. The first few times I worked with it, I didn't get any writing done, but I did get a lot of the rumination and pondering that usually proceeds my writing done. (Drew says I write like someone with a stomach virus. Pondering, followed by projectile vomiting.) The last time I used it, I managed to get a whole bunch of pages written, including some revisions that were tossed on at the last minute and needed me to rethink several plot lines. Not only was the writing accomplished - it's good - editors and collaborator are quite happy with just what was spilling - no tweaks in dialogue needed. I've been applying to my palms, rubbing them together, and focusing on overcoming my block, and letting out what's trapped inside. I'm pleased. Quite pleased, actually, and it doesn't hurt that I get a whiff every time I open the lappy.

So apparently I got an imp of this in one order, and it sifted down to the bottom of my bin, and I didn't turn it up until I went and searched for my Blood Kiss the other night. I tried it today for the first time and wow. Just wow. Dirt dirt dirt when I first put it on. It's moist, dark loam, though - not the drier dirt that I get from Zombi. As I wear it, it gets marvelously spicy, and for some reason, it smells horsey to me...not horsey in a bad way, but in some warm fuzzy scentt memory of a perfect day at the barn kind of way. Maybe it's the smell of one of the shampoos or soaps we used there, mixed with something leathery. It's absolutely amazing, and I might have to get a 5ml of this - it's the most comforting scent I've found...and I can't stop sniffing, and I don't know why it reminds me of riding, either.

I got a frimp of The Ghost in one of my orders this winter, and when I tried it, it was an instant flashback to my wedding the past October. Chilly and wet, with the green of the trees and my bouquet of callas - it was a really happy scent for me. It's completely not a scent I thought I'd like, or one that would work on me, but it was so evocative I fell in love. If I could pick something to relive that day with, that would probably be it, and I'll probably wear it on our anniversary, too.

I am madly and passionately in love with this scent. It smells a bit like sour raspberry candies in the bottle, but once it hits my skin, it's sweet and smoky and really lovely. To me, it's got some of the sugar from Smut mixed with the fruit and the vanilla. It's ridiculously feminine, but not in a girly way on me - especially during the dry down . It lasts on me for ages, too - I applied before 6am this morning, and at 8pm this evening I can still smell warm, woody, musky vanilla. I might need to scare up another 5ml...

Mmm....This smelled fabulous. I hate florals, but this was sweet and light and smelled of young love and summer. And then it bit me. Huge, itchy red welts all where I swiped. Damn. The application of Benadryl (both topical and internal), and some hubby-snugglies soothed the beast, but I was so disappointed. Granted, I got the affection I'd been craving, but it smelled too nice to make me itch...and I've never had a reaction like that before. I may try it again, since I'd just gotten out of a very warm shower.

I was hoping for more amber with this one, but instead I'm getting a herbal/lavendar sharpness with a hint of green. It's truly lovely, and very masculine, and I'm going to have to swipe some on my husband. It's a little distracting - I keep looking for the ymmy smelling guy, but it's me. My husband really liked it on me this morning, though. I think the bright freshness appealed.

2 word review - root beer! I dig it, and I'll have to revise this for additional subtleties, but the only impression I got yesterday was of root beer, and my beloved felt the same, and he can't smell a dead skunk on the highway...perufmes always smell "mmm...yummy", or "eww...don't like this" to him.

I like this, but not as much as some of the other scents I have. Starts off as a fruity floral, but the fruit fades quickly, and now, 2 hours later, I'm left with the barest whiff of clean, white lilies... I'm enjoying this, and it's light enough for me to wear to work on a regular basis without feeling like I might overwhelm someone (I work in a doctor's office, and while we're not scent-free, I try to keep it light.)

Sweet! My husband thought peaches, and I agreed. It mellowed into sweetened citrus, and now it's cherry blossoms and tea. I'm really enjoying this, even though it's a complete departure from what I usually wear...great for spring.
-
In the imp, I got a lot of cherry blossom and wetness. On my skin, it started with beautiful wet cherry blossom, like walking after a rainstorm in the spring, and then it morphed into wet metal. There was still the hint of flowers, but for a while, all I smelled was something wet, and oddly metallic - almost electronic. It was a neon cherry blossom decorating some urban window...very cool, but not really me, at least for perfume. I may give it another try, though.

I just got a frimp of this with my Peony Moon order, and it was the first one I've tried on today. Wow. I definitely love the vanilla, musk, and sugar scents, so it was no surprise that I liked this, but it smells amazing...and I need to try it on my husband, because I think it would smell delicious on him. Wet, it's very much like drinking a hot cup of lemon-infused tea. As it dries, it turns into a rich, musky-sweet vanilla, with undertones of tea and lemon. Imagewise, you've started having a very proper tea with your lover, and by the end, you've knocked the teapot to the ground, and covered yourselves in whipped cream.

Wow. jasmine. Eeww! Jasmine always smells like a bathroom to me...not so much the scent of urine, but of cleanser. Instant migraine, and to top it off, a charming hive. Off to swaps, to go to someone it agrees with. I'm a little sad, because I was hoping it would be better on me - the description was lovely.

I love this scent. It changes so incredibly from my skin to my husband's. It smells very male in the bottle, so I swiped some on both of us simultaneously. On us both, it starts with hravy patchouli, but it's the most gorgeous patchouli I've ever smelled. I could just swoon with the happy over that. There's a hint of woodsiness, too. On Drew, Luperci stays a heady mix of the juniper, herbs, and patchouli, with a comforting muskiness beneath. It is effing hot. At one point, he wrapped his arms around me, and I swear, he's never smelled so good. Even he really liked it. On me, it gets to a sweeter patchouli - the junper isn't as prominent, and the musk and honey meld with the patchouli. We were both astounded by how good it smelled on both of us, but how incredibly differend.

This came in my decant circle from syrenemyst. I don't like florals, normally - they just give me a headache and smell too girly, but I'm glad I tried this one. It's so bright and light and airy. It smells like my wedding day, honestly. The day was a cold, wet rainy October day, and I had a big bouquet of burgundy calla lilies and green leaves, and this smells just like that - cold and wet, with the sweetness of the lilies and the brightness of the leaves. Lily usually makes me gag - I loathe the scent of stargazers, but this really smells like callas, and I'm so happy. I might have to get a big bottle of this just for the warm fuzzies I get.

Yummy! This starts out super sweet and caramelly. My husband said it smelled like good gingerbread cookies. I was getting a lot of caramel at first, and it made me a bit nervous, since smelling like food just makes me hungry (Great Sword of War had me binging on Fig Newtons, for some reason), but it's dried down to this gorgeous dark spice that reminds me of my favorite notes in Chanel's Coco. It's rich and sophisticated, and dead sexy in a black satin gown, champagne sipping kind of way. I love this. I'm so glad I got a big bottle.

I think I'm in love. This just smells fantastic - like a blend of Snake Oil and Perversion and Sed non Satiata, 3 of my favorites. Boozy at first, and so very, very dark on my skin, but it sweetens and mellows out. It smells like it belongs on me. *cries* and of course, I decided to not order a big bottle of it, choosing Luperci and Red Lantern instead. I'm just hoping to snag some more, before I use up my imp.

Well, I can't identify any notes, but its sweet and spicy on my skin, and makes me feel very feminine. Not girly, but definitely a powerful woman. As far as effectiveness...it makes Dread's knees weak, but no play for me last night. However, I wore it with more of a power intent - I was looking for the confidence and bearing of a queen, which, while sexy, I was trying to turn towards impressing the dean of the school I'm applying to. Apparently, it worked. I was admitted to the MA program, and she was very excited about my portfolio and comic, as well as asking me to take her section of a class next semester. So score one for coming across well and not like a scared kid, which is always what I feel like in interviews.

This is lovely. It got a complement from my very sleepy hubby this morning, unasked for, which is impressive. It's a very blended scent to me - I can't pick out one note as something dominant, which I like. It maintains a similar quality wet and after a while, although as it dries, it gets softer, and slightly sweeter. It's not so much the scent of a good fuck, as it is the scent of the afterglow - it was a wild night, with toys and booze and honeydust, and now, you're laying there spent, exhausted, and limp, smiling, and waiting for sleep to rush over you. Hmm....sounds like a plan for tonight.

Oddly enough, this smells like fresh melons to me in the imp. I mean, melons that are so overripe they're rotten, but they're still on the vine. so there's a dirt smell in the background. It really does smell of something dead, but without the putrescence. Hubby and I both made the icky face. I tried it on tonight, though, and it really smells good on me. It starts out sweet and fruity, not winey, with that earthy undernote I love in Zombi. It dries down to something sweet and perfumy, but not cloying. Not exactly the scent I was expecting, but quite lovely.
