Thanks for your wonderful help. I recall having sent a "where is my order" question (and I may have to send a "can you please combine my orders" request). I hope you have a good time in Armenia!

You deserve it! I love Harry Potter--they're really great for relaxing (like brain candy). I just spent the last two hours awake in bed, having BPAL fantasies. Back to bed I go!

Hmm, if you combine the orders, are the s&h charges just the same? Because it wouldn't make any real difference to me if the s&h charges were the same and if I didn't combine, I would get some of my BPAL earlier.

Oh thanks andrabell! There was something tickling in the back of my head when I read the description for Desire, but it hadn't really crystallized yet. So far, I have narrowed my next order down to 24 imps and 1 5ml. 16 of them are from the update... I may attempt to narrow it down further, when I have more will power. Hopefully, my wanting so many right now is just one of my initial reactions when I see so many goodies--me want all of them, NOW! I hope my order from a month and a half back comes soon, so when I place my order, I'll only have two pending...

Sorry, I can't help you with that (still rather broke...). I remembered someone got a custom on MUA and I checked. Luckily, that person is on the forum here, too, so maybe you can PM her (viciousviolet) and ask. If you do get it, tell us how it went!

I'm so excited for you (and for me, too ). Beltane will still come out on June 1, right? I can't wait for Beltane...and all those other lovely scents.

So I was flipping through my sister's copy of In Style (god knows why...that magazine is useless and I wasted hours on it). I smelled Clean and Dolce & Gabbana's Sicily in the flap things and liked the, er, clean, yet (slight, slight) hint of floral, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a few BPAL scents. I didn't like Clean Ultimate--too much bitterness there, and I have BPAL's Desdemona, which doesn't smell so much clean as laundry (there's a difference to me ). I like Desdemona on rare (not that rare, but pretty rare) occasions and Clean and Sicily smell a bit different than what Desdemona is going for. Thanks in advance for your help!

Three Witches reeks of cinnamon (I'm not a cinnamon girl--maybe the world is seeking balance? ). There's also clove in it, too.

I don't mind. If it's good for you, that's good for everyone! Also, I was just looking at dresses (what I do when I have a lot of work, haha) online and saw this site that looks somewhat similar to CCNow. It's here, I linked their pricing section. They seem to be more reasonable than CCNow, but I don't know if it has everything you're looking for. But they may be partnered with PayPal and since you're already planning on using PayPal, then it may be useless.

It's hard to describe. A little floral, but it really just makes me think of some sort of floor cleaner. It's definitely wicked. It's not so much clean, just really sharp soap, with lye, that burns. I don't like it.

The first time I wore it, I didn't like it. It smelled like clean laundry, with fabric softener. Too clean--pleasant, but not comforting, nor something I'd like to smell like. The second time was the same, but the fourth hour, it lost that sharp, clean edge and I was starting to like it. Innocent, but clean. Now, my third time, it starts smelling pleasant after half an hour. It makes me think of a mother and her little girl, dressed in white, floaty clothes, walking through a green field, with flowers.

More fruity than musk. I would've liked it, but the whole time I was wearing it/sniffing in imp, it seemed like the fruity musk was seeping through something artificial, such as plastic.
-
Smelled like cinnamon and pepper in the imp, but on my skin, it became Red Hots and stayed that way. My body chemistry wouldn't work with it and it's not my sort of scent anyway.

It was a robust floral, but it overwhelmed in the imp and on my skin. In my head, it seems like a rich sort of scent, like someone said, a very heavy velvet. It just wasn't me, though. More for an older woman (like someone said, the Renaissance woman with rings on her hands).

It smelled the same on me as in the imp. It was an evil orange (er, mandarin). The fig makes it so, I suspect. The whole time I was wearing it, everytime I sniffed it (to check to see if my initial impression was correct), I didn't actually feel it, but the image in my head was of an evil orange attacking me. Not because it was a strong scent, but when I leaned in, it was strong. Like the orange was dominating the scent (even if there weren't that many notes in it).

Initial sniff: Whoa. No. Incense-y woodsy. Not my thing at all. Wearing: Still no go. I couldn't detect the vanilla, although it may have been what was tempering the incense smell and keeping it from going all-out Buddhist temple on me. I've tried this several times after and I still don't like it. Although, the next couple of times I opened it to smell it, it has a bit of a Coca-Cola smell to it, which I sort of liked. But it still dries down to incense on me. I don't really feel more confident or sexy when I wear it. I just layered Dana O'Shee over it and I like it. Dana mellows out and brings out the vanilla of Snake Oil, so that it's less incense-y. Edit: Now, I realize there are two versions of Snake Oil on me. There's the weird dry-smokey-incense that I'm not so fond of, and the spices-with-a-little-vanilla that I like and that everyone else gets. I'm not sure what makes Snake Oil go one way or another. The version I like is something that doesn't seem to appeal to me, yet I'm always sniffing my wrists. I got a compliment on it. When I was in my friend's car, and a friend got in after me, she said, "Jennifer's car smells good." I said, "Really?" because it didn't really smell all that great, and then she said, "Oh, it might be someone" and that it smelled like baby powder. It isn't the most ideal of compliments (baby powder...being mistaken for the smell of a car...), but it's a compliment nonetheless.

Fruity, with a dark floral poking out. I really liked this one. It's not loud or aggressive. It's there, waiting for you to take notice of it, and when you do, you're drawn in and completely hooked. It's light, yet the dark floral makes it seem not so light. When I wear it, I just keep on wanting more, like I want to consume it, but when I put on a lot (I mean, a lot), it doesn't work so well, which makes sense, because I was just swiping with my wand, left and right .

Almonds at first, then the honey pokes out, and last, the oatmeal. A very pleasant, comforting, foody scent. It's very harmless. However, it's a little bland, in that it's not very distinctive and it's very faint, so frequent retouchings are a must (although, it didn't help that much with me). I liked it, except it's not really me.

The fruit didn't work out. It just morphs into something powdery. It wasn't very crisp. It seems like something harmless, but after a second, you realize there's something wicked lurking beneath. I didn't like the wicked part. Although, the wicked part isn't so apparent on my clothes and the powdery scent smells better on my clothes (just doesn't work with my body chemistry). I reviewed the above on April 13, 2004. It's now February 12, 2006. I got a frimp of this from the lab several months ago and decided to try it again. Well, I love it now. It's sparkling and powdery and slightly fruity and sweet and . Hooray for frimps! I think, for some scents I nearly liked, but decided to let go of, I'll try them again if I get them as a frimp.
