  1. * In the bottle: Sweet and sour citrus. I smell more lemon than lime, but it's bright and sharp with a softly sugared edge.

    * Wet: Lemony-limey sweetness. It's so soft and lovely.

    * Dry down: Very sweet lemon-lime. Almost reminds me of Sprite... and it's close to Geek.Goth, like a second cousin or something.

    * 1 hour later: Soft, sugared lemon. It's barely there, gentle and sweet, but it will be wonderful to wear in the summer while it's hot. It has very little throw on me, though, due to citrus notes fading quickly.

  2. In bottle: It's orangey-lemony-limey goodness! All sweet and citrusy and beautiful. Love it in the bottle.

Wet on skin: Orange zest, that bitter citrus tang. It loses a lot of its sweetness, but still quite nice.

30 minutes on skin: Bounce dryer sheet. Seriously. It has that 'clean linen' candle smell. So utterly disappointing to me.

End verdict: The scent fades quickly after 45 minutes. In the end, though, this is one that will be relegated to the scent locket. I don't want to smell like dryer sheet. I wish the sweet citrus had translated to my skin! :(

  3. In Bottle: Lots of lily, an ozone coolness, and that iris root peeking up through there. It's delicate and light with a chemical, chilly touch.

Wet on Skin: Lily. Lots of lily and the cold ozone/freon note of Numb. It has an almost baby powder quality to it on my skin that I'm not liking one bit.

30 Minute Dry Down: The lily died down after 30 minutes. It's much softer, more understated now. It's very much predominantly lily on me, the rose isn't there at all, but it's sweeter, and it remains very chilly. I can still, if I close my eyes, get a whiff of baby powder, though. It's really not something I would wear, but it's a very pretty blend. Feminine, ethereal, and cool.

60 Minute Dry Down: It's powdery, a little sweet, but the lily is still clinging as the primary note on my skin. At this point, when I know it won't change much more, it's simply a sweet, powdery, slightly green lily on my skin. Definitely not for me.

  4. In bottle: This is nice. It's like a strawberry lemonade candy cane. It's really tart and sweet in the imp with just a hint of mint under it. This has potential.

On me: That smells insanely familiar. After consulting with the husband-thing, it reminds us of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. That little bit of plastic, bit of artificial strawberry, and something powdery about it all. It's all those things. *chuckles* Fake, artificial, plastic. This is one for the scent locket.

  5. In bottle: It smells almost like plastic lemons. >.>

On me: It almost smells like white grape juice, but more like white grape juice that's soured (and not in a nice, happy, winey way).

30 minute dry down: It's... I get the faint sweetness of carnation--reminiscent of Pink Moon '07--but it's that slightly sour twang of old green grapes that I just can't get over. It's like a darker, little less sweet version of the 2007 Pink Moon for sure. Maybe on someone else it's gorgeous. On me, it's highly unpleasant.

  6. In bottle: It's a wet, almost lemony scent, with something dark and musty underneath it. To me, it's like the evil cousin of original June Gloom.

On me: Lemon, mint, and a hint of something oily and unpleasant.

30 minute dry down: It smells like a generic men's cologne on me. Harsh, strong, and very unimpressive.

  7. In bottle: It smells very much like any of the fresh, ozone-like scents Beth puts out (very reminiscent of Embalming Fluid). Clean musk, sharp ozone, a hint of lemon.

Wet: >.> No kidding, it smells like lemony cat piss. Not something I like.

30 minute dry down: It... smells like a hospital room. Slight baby powder, very antiseptic, with that scent of metal and sterile floors.

  8. In bottle: Wow! Boozy and fruity.

On me: Something intensely incense-y about it, tempering the fruit, sugar, and alcohol, but not in a way I particularly like. I should have checked my imp before jumping on the bottle I'd located recently (usually, red fruit scents work well for me).

30 minute dry down: There's fruit, but there's something in there that makes it smell, to me (oddly enough), like I've been kissing some gal who's wearing a LOT of red lipstick between big gulps of spiked punch followed by a good bout of puking. It's really, really unpleasant to me.

  9. In bottle: Hmm. Vanilla soapyness. It's sharp, soap-like, with a hint of vanilla tea. Very strange when I know what the released version smells like. XD

On me: Astringent tea and soft vanilla with... something citrus like? Very faint and familiar in the back. It's not as mellow as GC Dorian, not as warm.

30 minute dry down: A little soapy, a little powdery. It has a strange vanilla undertone along with this old lady funk. It has a hell of a throw, though.

  10. In bottle: It's all bright, tart green apple. Wet and beautiful in the bottle. The released version of Poisoned Apple is mostly herbs to my nose, but this is just APPLE! in the bottle.

On me: Sharp apple, a hint of herbs. It's like I just cut an apple in the garden. Beautiful.

30 minute dry down: Barely any apple is left on my skin. Instead, I get an incense/resin thing with a hint of apple, dusty wood, and something unpleasantly sour underneath it all.

  11. In bottle: Lemon-Lime Skittles. It truly is. Sweet and sharp. Underneath is something creamy, vanilla-like, and then a very faint, almost-not-there scent of pale wood. Pine, maybe.

Wet on my skin: I get the faintest trace of lime zest, and then a blast of lemon-lime juice with a definite creamy, vanilla note anchoring it. It must be vanilla bean, because there's a hint of plastic to it that I only get when I try a scent that contains vanilla bean. It's sort of like a plastic, lime Necco Wafer. <_<

30 minute dry down: Mainly, I get that vanilla bean plastic thing. It's incredibly disappointing. There is a hint of like... powdered lime. Maybe lime flavored Kool-Aid, but mostly it's just plastic and artificial vanilla. This will be used in a scent locket because I did love it in the bottle, but on the skin it's just not my thing. :(

  12. In bottle: It's lighter than the 'snow' scents I'm used to. It still has that touch of pine to it, but it's sweet. The lemon and sugar are in there, and even that bland, astringent quality I associate with tea in perfumes. It's nice.

On me: The sugar sours big time, the pine gets lost under it, and there is NO lemon to be found. This is a yuck blend on me, sadly.

  13. In bottle: Sharp and wet with a hint of green. Oh, it's gorgeous in the bottle. I hope it stays that way on my skin!

On me: It still has that rainy quality to it, but a touch of floral instead of green. This is a keeper, most definitely.

  14. In bottle: It's sweet. Foody. Dessert sweet and foody, all right. Smells of vanilla cake.

On me: Food scents never turn out well on me. *worries as she waits a bit before sniffing* It's foody and cakey and I'm not sure it's nice on my skin. It's lighter than Eat Me was when I wore it... *ponders and asks husband's opinion* It's a no-go.

  15. The Storm Moon marks the darkest portion of the year. A season of long, impenetrable nights and turbulent tempests. A raging, electric and wet scent: slashing rain notes, rolling thunder, and sharp, cold winds layered by a breath of softly wafting lunar incense, a hint of Luna’s blooms, and the brittle herbs of winter.

In bottle: Sharp, bright rain, dark clouds, cool winds... it's all there. It's not as floral as Thunder Moon, with a hint of that muskiness I find in Buck Moon. It's just a perfect representation of the wild sky during a storm.

On me: It's cool, wet, and... well... stormy. It's not OMG!YOUCANSMELLME strong, which endears it to me further. It's one of the most perfect Lunacy blends I've come across. I love it.

  16. In bottle: Tart flowers. It's a very girly scent. Pink. Nothing like its bubblegum counterpart, Pink Moon 2007.

On me: Hmm. It's not very pretty on me. I think it's the honey. I don't like honey, and honey notes go all sour and odd on me. I also don't get any strawberry either in the bottle or on the drydown. So sad. :P

  17. This is going to be a pretty sparse review, sorry to say...

In bottle: I don't know what I'm smelling, but it's not pleasant. Disappointing.

On me: It's musky and odd. I can't place what I'm getting from this, but I just don't like it. Maybe it's the bonfire thing. Smoky. I dunno. Just know that it dries pretty intense. Too intense for my liking.

  18. I was so excited when I opened my box from the Trading Post. I was terrified I wouldn't have been sent Spiked Punch, which was the only Inquisition blend I was interested in. I squeed and bounced to find Spiked Punch in the peanuts!

In the bottle: Very strong booze with an after whiff of powdery fruit punch. Much like cheap punch at prom that someone dumped a bottle of cheap rum into. :P

Wet: Still a powdery, fruity thing, but that booze note fades into the background some.

Dry: Oh, the booze fades into just this dizzy warmth under a tart, berry punch. It's wonderful! I can't stop sniffing my wrist!

The throw is quite light, and the scent lingers on my skin for about five hours before is begins to become lost.

I'm SO glad I got this one! It's a perfect scent. Goes right alongside my Treat #1 and Ecstasy of Infatuation! I'm such a fruity gal.

  19. I got mine yesterday.

In the bottle, it was a dry, dusty incense thing with this finish of ripe fruit. I was hopeful, though incense-like notes don't tend to work for me. I got no rose, no pepper. Nothing spicy.

On me, the scent never changed, even on the dry-down. It was powder-like, intense patchouli, and reminded me a lot of Old Lady Smell. Usually, my chemistry amps up rose, but there wasn't even a hint of rose on me. Sadly, it was really awful and had me sneezing and dealing with a massive headache. Even scrubbing it off did little to help... it clung to my skin.

I was terribly disappointed, but I don't regret ordering. I love her little coffin, and I enjoyed the experience. :P
