OK!!!! I have finally found the BPAL stuff that I do not love!!!!!! Finally!!!!!!!! And it's this!!!!! It smells exactly like the Febreeze air freshener they put in the bathroom at work. It's yucky. To me at least. I am sure someone who appreciates that airy sweetness is out there, it's just anathema to me, worse than pumpkin. I was hoping for more salty.

Um, ok, here's those Pencil Shavings I have heard so much about here on the forum, but really did not think existed until now. WTF? Maybe this one will age to something other than pencil shavings, hopefully.

I realized today that I have so many rose BPALs it's almost silly, and this is my first disaster.

I can't smell rose in this to save my miserable life.

Delicious. Definitely the sleeper hit of the Yules 2011 for me. Pastry and yes, pine, but mostly pastry. Warm and foodie.

I like this, the coconut is quite lovely. It does smell like the beach to me, an expensive fancy beach. I am glad I got it but I won't need to back it up as I don't know how often I will want to wear it.

Sweet and slightly foody

Oh my this is so heavenly. It's salty and lush, very elegant and perfumey, in the best way. It has a lot of depth, and the scent is really clear.

This reminds me a bit of Dragon's Reverie.

Back ups will be required.

Actually I just put my finger (or nose) on what this reminds me of really, it's Stormclouds Over the Midway. The only similarity I can find between the two is that this has Plum musk and Stormclouds has "plum colored inscence smoke".

I will put in my vote here for Cloister Graveyard, it's a gentle mint. Mad Hatter is an awesome green mint.

Lick it is quite nice for layering.

Oooooh just got the Big Bottle of this for the DH, and it is full of win. It's rich, and thick but soft and greeney. He says it reminds him of Polo, but so much better.

This is amazing and spicy, back up worthy, and perfect. I think this is the best cinnamon that I have tried as of yet. It does not have the Red Hot effect of candy, but rather the spicy variety. Like real spice. It is like the cinnamon in Chimera with less sweetness and more depth.

So bizarre that some do not get the cinnamon from this, for me it's All Cinnamon All The Time.

Edit *So, I am ending up with six bottles of this, I am hoping I don't cry when I run out...

Final? Update...there are NOT twelve bottles of Playful Wooden Mallets here, I really don't know what you are talking about.

This is the perfect touch up for anything, mixes with everything, it's so perfectly perfect. I have a bottle with me at all times. Yes I do.

I bought both of the Aphrodites, and they are gorgeous, and I would like to know if anyone could tell me what would smell like Aphrodite Kyphiria (sp?) which is the cinnamon one.

Elizabeth of Bohemia, for all you rosey fans. This is the most amazing deep scent, that stays for so long.

I also love the Bittersweet Chocolate bath Oil. And the two Aphrodite room sprays. Gorgeous.

I like this although it seems to be mocking me by being wood.

I like wood sometimes, it reminds me of the wood in Red Queen.

After a couple of weeks, I can say this is one of my favorites of the Lupers. It's rich and quite powerful, and it has stopped being so wood. Still a little wood, but that is OK.

I got one of the Dark Chocolate ones from the Box of Chocolates. I really love the chocolate in some 13s, that seems like dark to me. For Milk there is nothing like Gelt.

This is gentle, but long lasting. It's the perfect dry rose of Spellbound for me, with out the ambery powder factor. Just lovely, a unique scent with a lot of lasting power.

Note to Rose lovers : Buy this immediately. This is the best rose ever. Not lying.

This is just heaven. I love this smell, and when I layer it with Lick it Discreetly, I get to be Peppermint Bark, my favorite candy. Ever.

Wet this smells a lot like Clairol's Herbal Essence shampoo, the original one from the seventies, or at least how I remember it smelling. Dry I smell the champa, it's very delicious. I agree it's quite boy, but I like that, especially during the Lady Time of the month strangely.

After a couple of months, this one is round and creamy greeness, lovely.

OK I give up on CCNow, I will only use Paypal after this last interesting experience. I made a kind of big (just shy of $300) order on February 4th. The order was shipped by the Lab on the 9th, and I got it a couple days after. Today, which is the 14th, they finally charged my card. What?? So weird. I never checked, as the order appeared to go through just fine. I did not realize you could get Black Pheonix on credit

Oh, and just as a note, there were no charge backs, I was not out of $$ in that account, the charge was just never made. Also, I made a trading post order through CCNow on the 12th, and that was already charged.

Lol I got the pickles too violetblue, but that quickly burns off. I attribute that to the newness of the bottles.

I love this one, it is really fantastic sweet and tart strawberry vanilla and good.

Also, besides The Dawns, has anyone mentioned Seance? I found this to be a gorgeous rich tea rose, and would love to get a bottle if The Lab would stop trying to kill me with all the updating things that clearly I must buy.

I just ordered Elizabeth of Bohemia, from the Lupers, which promises to be The Perfect Rose Oude.

I was a little afraid of this one just smelling it out of the bottle, the aquaticness of it all was a bit strange, but skin testing it, it's quite wonderful, exotic, very lovely Asian market, rich and gorgeous. It dries down to a nice complex floral. Very different from any other BPAL that I have.

Heaven, heaven, heaven, this is exactly what I wanted it to be It is in the same family as The Caterpillar and Wicked, but a bit less aggressive. Still rich, but not as In Yo Face. As it dries down, it does that Wicked thing, without turning powdery.

My absolute favorite roses to date are Dawn Mother and Dawn Priestess, both sharp tea rosey blends for me. I have Rose Red and Peacock Queen, they are nice but not as true rose for me as The Rose. The most wonderful wearable roses though are the Dawns. OMG. Amazing.

Different people absorb scent differently, if you want to know if your perfume is too strong you should ask people you are close to (like your family or close friends ). Usually people's reaction is pretty indicative, at my work people don't hesitate to be forthcoming, like when someone told me that the 51 I was wearing smelled like floor cleaner

As far as things smelling like sex, that is also an individual reaction, I have heard over and over that Perversion smells like sex, and to me it smells like maple syrup. And I never have any kind of sex that involves breakfast foods myself, so I don't get it.

I tend to also shy away from things that I find too sexy when I go to work or to church, or to one of my kids school things, but I find it's more for my own head than anyone elses.

And if I am wearing Pussy, say, I will say when asked "Oh it's something from Black Pheonix, they make wonderful perfume oils, look them up on the interwebs!"
