  1. Here's one Elmwood Cemetery. It is very lush, sharp green. Beautiful and evocative, all green to me no dirt.

The most greenhouse, or florist shop to me is Dawn, Mourning Victory, which does not smell like a typical floral to me, but more like that smell you get when you open a florist's fridge. To me, that could be greenhouse.

  2. Purple-stemmed raspberries, twining grape vines, Spanish moss, and dusty pale woods.

Well I never reviewed this, but as I am about to finish my bottle, I have to chime in to say how much I loved this one. The berry note for me is very strong, and the old house vibe is also. So sad to see it go.

  3. This may sound odd, and it may be just me (so hopefully others will chime in if they don't agree, as it really could have been my skin chemistry) but Pecan Pie, from Black Phoenix Trading Post's Great Pie debate, was pretty much clove single note on me. I tried the perfume, bath oil, and hair gloss - all clove, all the time. It made no sense to me, so I literally got cloves out of my spice cabinet to compare, and I was not crazy, what I was smelling was cloves. Just a thought!

Jeez if I had known that I would have snagged some!

  4. Well, at first when I sniffed this bottle I thought, Blergh. This is sort of not good. A few weeks later however I am glad to report that this has become a lovely fresh strawberry scent, with the wine giving it backbone without making it too boozy. I don't get too much flower, just a bit. It's lovely and smells much more like real strawberry than candy or strawberry scent. Also it lasts forever.

  5. Ooh this is so pretty! And sort of dusty, I think that must be the oakmoss. I can definitely pick out the copal, copal always smells a little metallic to me. Very unisex, I could wear it but it totally smells like a gorgeous men's fragrance.

    This one is a winner!

  6. Why hello!

There are many non shady BPALs LOL.

I would recommend Alice, Dorian, Leanan Sidhe, Whitechapel and The Head (very flowery) from the new Lupers.

You can always start by just reading reviews and seeing if you get a feel for anything. Then order some imps and see what you like.
