  1. Yay!!! I am so happy it worked out so well for you. I love Heroine so much, and it is just like what you said!

It's funny I always think of the Power Puff girls when I wear it, they are cute but fierce, saving the world before bedtime

It's also a scent that you can wear without having to worry if it's too heavy, it's strong but not obnoxious.

  2. Ooh, forgot to mention, Hellboy (which also smells like clean kitten fur, which makes me sooooo happy), Old Demons of the First Class and Robotic Scarab are nice and masculine.

Knecht Ruprecht also has some very masculine tones.

Hellboy!! my husband has gone through four bottles of that...

That and Lady Death are his favorites, with Debauchery right behind.

  3. At first this seemed very masculine to me, but as I tend to sweeten things up it dried down into the most amazing soft but strong sandalwood, more later...

OK, so after a couple of gos, I have to say I think this may be too "manly" for me, even though I like many manly scents. I find this really really wonderful, but I think it reminds me too much of a gentleman's cologne. That's fine, my husband will love it.

Still smells very sandalwood, and it's weird, I would have sworn there was patchouli in this...

  4. [REDACTED] DRAGON
Wipe-off marker on white board, 2012
This is [REDACTED]. He is a really, really, REALLY mean dragon. The meanest and greediest. He took the treasure with the gold.
    Now he's cracking into fire.
Raw red ginger, pink pepper, red carnation, sweet clove, vetiver, heartwood cinnamon, and jasmine sambac.

    [Redacted] Dragon

I cannot figure out what it is in the top note of this that makes me go Blergh! Stinky! if anyone can enlighten me? I almost think it's the ginger.
But dried down this is amazingly fresh, and lovely. It doesn't smell Whoa Hippies in a Wizard's Store like some DBs (which I happen to love btw) but it smells fresh and airy, the carnation is very strong for me in this.
I am glad I got this unsniffed, it's surprisingly Spring-like. I find that what I have tried so far in this series is very wearable, something you want to smell all day.

  5. Wheeeeeeee WTF is this?? I love this! I first thought it was like a Tiki Bar fizzy thing, but then it turned into sweet flowery stuff! Filled with awesome and win, and I love the artwork. I love the smell of this, I could not stop smelling my arm today, people must have thought I was nuts.

This is absolutely uplifting, a very happy scent.

Note from day two : got this on a sweatshirt at the wrist cuffs, and the next day it still smells effervescent. And really good.

It reminds me a little of Agape, not the exact scent but the feeling.

  6. I never reviewed this? Shocking.

This is my most used hair gloss, as the scent blends so well with many of my BPALs. It's rich but somehow subtle. I also use it on my 7 year old daughter, I put it in her hair when it's wet (about 3 squirts in my hands then down the hair shaft to the ends), it detangles and the scent is lovely. It's a crowd pleaser.

  7. Dug through the last four pages, and I guess I never reviewed this, strange as it was one of my first frimps, and I always liked it. It is strange, and glowy bright, with an almost effervescent quality. I think I am going to make this into a summer perfume spray, it is really gorgeous.

The salty thing is the strongest note for me, it's the same one as I smell in Angry Crab or Halloween at Innsmouth. The melon is there, but it's not obnoxious, this does NOT smell like air freshener.

  8. This delicate, spectral perfume gives rise to an eerie distortion of of the senses. It bestows an ephemeral, ghostly, and truly haunting quality to your presence. Green tea, lemon verbena, jasmine and neroli.

Phantasm. How do I love thee? Let me enumerate the ways...

First, let me start off by saying, what are friends for if not to give umpteen opportunities to say "I told you so!". I am that kind of friend. Knowing how much I love jasmine, and lemon (when a review says "Blergh! Lemon Pledge! That scent usually goes right to the top of the wish list  ) So, my Best BPAL pal has been telling me "Phantasm! Get some! You need it!" like, forever. But as usual I just ignored her. In my last order I got a frimp of Phantasm.

Phantasm, where have you been all my life, with me sniffing the bottles of Lemon Up shampoo, and shaking my fist at Lemon Scented Sticky Bats because it turns to meh on me????

First, this is the only lemongrass thing I have ever smelled that does not smell like a Thai soup. It's delicious and lemony, perfectly deepened and supported by the jasmine. And it lasts all day! Even when my nose is blocked up by Spring Madness!

I am going to wear this all summer. It's going in my next order and I am going to bring it home and call it George.

I wonder how long it will take her to find this review...

  9. I agree with Quillifer about Dragon's Blood being sweet. I'm currently wearing Martian Phoenix, and its an odd sweet candied Red Mint. Kind of strange from a planet that represents the god of war, but whatever. I like it! :yum:

I get chocolate mint, not quite like a peppermint patty, but there's something rich on top that feels chocolate to me. I guess he's killing them with kindness that crazy Mars.

    Agape is grape candy :wub2:

If only I had a vat of that.

Gelt & Lick it = Peppermint Patty.
