  1. I really like to put things in the diffuser that seem too ??? for wearing as perfume, like The Tavern of Hell or my favorite for rooms, The Witch's Garden.

All my hoarded imps are great for that. Seemingly all the homeless Taverns of Hell came to my house.

As for roses, I like to wear them as perfume, but weighing in on the rose debate, I really don't like Rose Red, although it's my BFFs favorite, it is nasty on me, but would most likely work as a room scent. The truest rose to me is The Rose, and I love Peacock Queen. Seance is a real true rose as well.

  2. I can't really recommend the name Destructive Vagina of the Fox Spirit, but the notes (Vanilla orchid, black amber, coffee bean, labdanum, champaca, and oudh) sound like a good match, and the reviews definitely say it's a milky, sweet, creamy coffee.

Could just tell her it's called Fox Spirit? :P

    that's hilarious...

I will search for Mornings in New Orleans...sigh...

I was hoping Cafe Mille et Un Nuits would work. I might try it anyway, just because I love the Only Lovers series. :bunnyluv:

  3. hmm, still on the fence about this one.

The "leaf" note is one that I love but it's sort of a bully for me, it tends to bury everything else. I want the smoke and incense but all I am getting is leaves, everywhere. And something lovely and green.

Almost like Buenos Noches. Very fresh in the dry down.

and...the big bottle came, and it smells different from what I remember but still so good, an amazing outdoor scent. Almost smokey, I think that's the leaves but very green, and the dirt does not overwhelm, I can amp the dirt thing until it's like blergh (Zombie I am glaring at you) but not here, it's just grounding and nice.

This is one of the most complex story telling BPALs I have ever bought, I am so happy to have it.

  4. Salt air, ocean mist, aged patchouli, sarsaparilla, watered-down rum, leather-tinged musk, and a spray of gunpowder.

Well in my late summer quest to not be so darn hot, I have taken a few more of my imps and mixed them with perfumer's alcohol for a nice refreshing mist.

I wanted an aquatic to fill out my collection of these, so happy I picked this one.

To my nose it's very complex, smokey and musky, with salt and sea.

No leather, thankfully, I don't need to smell like fine furniture and sadly no patchouli, if it's there it is just a lovely compliment.

This scent is just love. It's like Angry Crab, but not quite so angry, you dig? Like Octopus but not quite so sweet.
