Wow War smells amazing. Sweet, gingery, lovely. I smell a patchouli underneath. I think this one needs to sit, or my nose could be off because it's so soft, however lasts through getting wet and a couple of hours still as strong as when I put it on. Will retest and report back. So far though I love it. I really do NOT smell the honeysuckle yet, it's all warm and spicey.

What about Mad Hatter? That's a lovely soft summery thing like Leannan Sidhe, more herbal than flowery though. Not familiar with 5 and 1. Cheshire Cat I love, very jasmine to me. Jasmine Cottage?

All of the Snowballs or Lickits, Shivering Boy and Mad Hatter. Also Leanan Sidhe, which is the scent I recognize as "summer".

huh...coffee? Where am I ... OK sorry these are my first Chaos Theories, forgive my confusion. First, both my bottles were super full. The number on my Floral is 86. Starts off with a nasty rose, sort of a combination of the rose in Spellbound and the one in Seance. That leaves and an equally nasty lily comes in . That said, I kind of like it. It smells like my garden right now, sort of overblown and rotted by the sun. I do smell the greens in here, but they smell combined with some that have been cut down and are in the bin I just put to the curb to be picked up tomorrow by the recyclers. I don't know if it's my favorite BPAL but I am so happy to have it. I am riveted by how this keeps changing, and I have no clue why I didn't buy all of the others. Fascinating. well, a week out of the mail box, and things have improved, the nasty rotting flowers have all been thrown in the garbage and hauled away, and we are left with much sweeter things. This one is a keeper for sure, lovely.

Whitechapel is an awesome summer citrus, it's lime. Very lovely IMO

Black roses with myrrh, benzoin, and guiac wood. Ooh Me First? So intimidating... Well, can I just say how happy I am that I cannot smell whatever wood is in this, so I don't feel like Fine Furniture? It's the same lovely rose as in Elizabeth of Bohemia to me, but deeper and rounder, with a lot of lasting power. Rose lovers rejoice! This is not a Rose Red or The Rose, but still a juicy rose, not dead or dry.

Have you tried any "true" roses, like The Rose (GC), or Rose Red, or Peacock Queen? I would say Seance but it's DCed.

Revenant Rhythm is perfect as a bath oil, atmosphere spray, hair gloss, whatever you want to roll this stuff into, indeed it is all good. I would wear it in a box, I would spray it on a fox, I would wear it here or there, I would spray it anywhere. I like this Sam I am...and I cannot spell revenant to save my life...that's what spell check says anyway. This says "BPAL " to me, like Snake Oil or O, smells like what I think BPAL is.

Kit has strong core similarity to Al Azif.

The opening of Kit to me smells just like a painter's studio. the drydown is totally Al Azif/ Kubla Khan. It's beautiful. Words can't really describe it. The wet stage kills me.

I love love love The Caterpillar, but on me it's super floral.

I'd call it similar to Rose Red Hair Gloss, and in oils Peacock Queen, or Ruined Roses.

Dark Rosaleen which is up right now with the Bards is a beautiful forest scent.

My little daughter uses this, it's very fresh smelling. It lasts a long time too.

Well, not a perfume, but I finally know what Neroli smells like. Oceans of Love and Millions of Kisses, which I have the Giant Size Bath Oil of, is allegedly that. And I love it. I was wondering what the gorgeous flower was in that, now I know. Wishing I'd ordered Alma Venus now...

Well! Talk about your serendipity. I have been reading a thread about Neroli recommendations and thinking that I had not a clue what neroli actually smells like but looky here, I actually do! If this be neroli, play on please. It is gorgeous. I love this bath oil, it's like bathing in spring flowers, without the wallop that showy flowers sometimes pack (gardenia, I am looking at you). I am enlightened.
