Yes. Very leathery. And like a book. I love the idea of this, love having the imp. It's not a "me" perfume, considering 9 out of 10 are... The leather is really all I can smell here, but it is lovely "soft" leather.

Just absolutely gorgeous. Dark incense lovers, get it. Now.

Snow White has strangely the same vibe to me, it's like a winter Leanan Sidhe, which is one of my favorite summer perfumes. If you are looking for more "outdoors" you might try Skadi, or any of the "snowy" moons. The Garden in Winter also has that "outdoors " thing going on. A really good readily available one is Neil Gaman's The Snowglobe.

This one surprised me, I hesitated to even try it, I could not figure out what was going on just by sniffing the bottle. But I took the plunge today so here goes! First blast wet is the pine, but not Pine Sol baby, more of a soft sweet Christmas tree pine. Dry though it burns off to amazing, dark, gorgeous round resins. No powder, therefore no amber me thinks... This is fabulous, I think it may be the Yule sleeper hit, lovers of the "darker" BPALs will want this one, but it has the same sweetness of Onduris, without the snow note dominating. I do feel the fire thing, without being over aggressive, and I do smell a sweetness much like the one in July '11? 13, or Black Temple Burlesque Troupe, but this is not "foody" to me, it's more sexy, smoldering, than say, cookies.

This is freaking delicious. I think I gained a couple pounds just breathing it in... Lovely strawberry and sweetness.

Clown White! So fun! Very cakey, sweet, adorable. I love this. My uncle was a huge theatrical makeup manufacturer, at one point every theatrical school program used his makeup kits, and I used to go to schools with him to demonstrate makeup application, so this one is very nostalgic for me, even just the idea of it brings back memories. Thank you for this one!

Freaking LOVE this...love it. I don't find it as "fadey" as you do DevilsCandyCane, maybe when your bottle sits a while you won't have that experience, or maybe layer it with something else? Maybe with Bonfire? Or something else heavy like The Apparition? I'm trying to think of something smokey that you might want to temper a bit. For me, I love the smokey but I hate to just have that. Also I have to add that I amp amber like crazy, and love it in all forms, so this one works a charm for me. The note that hits me the strongest is a sort of caramel thing that I absolutely remember from a Salon, Arrival at the Sabbath and Homage to the Devil which I absolutely love. It's not an actual caramel, just that sort of sweet richness which smells like that to me. Strangely, I also don't get much smoke from it. Hmm, I will test it again today. I found it very complex and less powdery than I expected. Going off to retest...

Red baneberry, purple prairie clover, wild bergamot, bloodroot, purple dead-nettle, hemlock, and bog rosemary twined into a waft of frankincense and myrrh. I absolutely LOVE this. It's got that lovely sharp green BPAL gardeny note I remember from other gorgeous blends like The Garden in Winter. Very evocative and dreamy.

I love this because all though there is leaf, there is less leaf, more Other Stuff. Very delicious...

Well it is a Magic Circle after all annemathematics... When I first sniffed this I had a rush of scent memories of what I think of as Black Phoenix...sort of like my memories of amazing classics like The Caterpillar and Spellbound... sort of like the perfect conjuring of these memories for me, but it's like those scents to Eleven. Strong. With backbone. This is beautiful.

I don't really get specific lavender in the wet stage, it's more of a "green" thing, which gives way to a beautiful lush floral, but not a round white floral like say Avenger, but a slightly sharp dark thing. I love the heck out of this one, I can see wearing this day, night, it's really good. The musk and the frankincense make it more dark, sophisticated. That said it's not like a department store perfume at all. Dreamy.

Feeding the Dead. Exactly this, incensey, cakey, sugary.

I have worn all sorts of stuff for sleep, usually I like to pick lighter florals like Ghosts in Love. Lately due to my lovely hot flashes I find the most useful thing to be an alcohol spray, I mix the oil in perfumer's alcohol.

Ha! I had no idea what to expect from this one, but I had to get it because of the name... This starts off very strong with the macadamia nut, makes me think of cookies...it's sort of a cookies with tea scent for me, strangely. I don't get much resin from it but I love the depth of the macadamia. It's sort of a weird one, but I have been wearing the heck out of it.

you know, strangely, I never had a bottle of Alice as a perfume (Alice obsessed here, I have her tattooed on my leg), although I did have a crowd of the others, Cheshire Cat, The Caterpillar, The Red Queen, Queen of Hearts, Knave of Hearts sure I have forgotten someone...and I love Alice's Evidence but never bought an actual Alice. I did however get the HG, and it's lovely. I pair it with florals or other "tea" things.

I used to hate hate hate all the dead leaf scents, but thanks to Beth's magical powers I am now a huge fan. Deaths Second Self though admittedly a Yule is my favorite in my personal leaf pile 😆 Halloween 1914 is pretty autumnal. For me personally though Vampire Queen reminds me of fall, it's my one no hesitation Weenie and I have a bunch of back ups of various years

I second Knave of Hearts it's really mouth watering. Also The Little Wooden Doll is a very evocative wood scent.

Yes Cockagigne is awesome. So is Kill Devil, it's a little less cakey-sweet, more boozey sweet.

This is really beautiful, actually has more oomph than the other Laces I have. Lovely.

I did get Anesthesia, it is amazing (and I am reading Good Omens right now). Mad Hatter is so gorgeous. It smells like summer.

Did anyone say Ivory Vulva? Amazing vanilla/coconut scent. That is a luper limited you have to buy it on the secondary market. Chokecherry Honey is awesome. I find O vile, but I am in the minority. I do love BPAL honey though. Lyonesse is a beautiful vanilla. those are GC.
