Age: 2011 Bottle: Smells of milk, honey and bergamot. Wet on skin: Member girlcalledmoment mentioned that this perfume smelled like Lush’s Potion Lotion and I definitely agree. Starts off with a lot of milk, honey and bergamot but then mellows to spicy carnation and the nicest rose I’ve ever smelled. Most roses smell like old ladies and soap but this one doesn’t. After 10 minute dry down: Becomes more spicy, cakey, and softly floral. Slightly powdery, but the bakery tea cake scent prevents the powder from getting soapy. Overall: Tea, cakes, carnations, and rose. This and High-Strung Daisies are my favorite BPAL perfumes. If you like Lush’s Potion Lotion, you will probably like this scent. 5 out of 5 stars.

Age: 2011 Bottle: Carnations and pink bubble gum. Wet on skin: Same. After 10 minute dry down: Becomes more floral and faintly sugary (instead of bubble gum), maybe even a bit cakey. Overall: High-Strung Daisies is carnations and sugary pink bubble gum. Girly, naïve, and sickingly sweet. I couldn’t ask for anything more. This is probably my favorite BPAL oil and I may have to buy another bottle. The only con is that the scent doesn't last long, but it seems like perfume oils have don't have much sillage/throw in general. We'll see how my feelings for this oil develop. 5 out of 5 stars.

Age: Unknown. Imp: Wood and earthy patchouli. Wet on skin: Pencil shavings and bitter orange. After 10 minute dry down: Doesn’t change much on my skin. Overall: I don’t like patchouli so this perfume is definitely not pleasing to me. This is probably my least favorite perfume of all time. 0.5 out of 5 stars.

Age: Unknown. Imp: Very incensey and honey sweet. Wet on skin: Smoky, sweet musk, honey, and leather. After 10 minute dry down: Amidst the smoke and leather, a cake-like scent emerges. I’m guessing it’s the tonka. Overall: Tobacco, Leather and cake. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Age: 2011 Imp: Honey, earth, and dried fruit. Wet on skin: Same as in the imp, but with some tuberose butteryness. After 10 minute dry down: The patchouli gets stronger and reminds me of pencil shavings. Overall: Earthy perfume with some fruitiness, probably from the muscadine. This perfume is a bit too earthy for my liking 1 out of 5 stars.

Bottle: Spicy, vegetal, and wine-like. Wet on skin: Smells better on the skin. Still spicy and vegetal, but with some softer green notes. After 10 minute dry down: This one smells even better as it dries down. It becomes less vegetal, and more fruity grape and green/spicy. Overall: This is a spicy-fruity-green perfume. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Age: Unknown Imp: Lemon Drop candies. Wet on skin: Same After 10 minute dry down: Scent doesn’t change. Pretty one dimensional, and if you don’t like lemon, avoid. Overall: Lemon overload. I like lemon in my iced tea but not as a perfume. 1 out of 5 stars.

Bottle: Honey, almond, caramel, flowers and herbs. Wet on skin: Very floral, crisp and green with oodles of honey. It’s extremely sweet with hint of bitterness and something chemical, almost like toilet bowl cleaner. After 10 minute dry down: The chemical scent dies down and the flowers get subdued. The result is honey, butter, frosting, quiet flowers. Overall: This is definitely a honey-floral and I like it, but I can see how others might find this too cloying. If you don’t like honey, this is probably not the perfume for you. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Age: Unknown Imp: Smells strongly of rose with candied citrus. Wet on skin: Rose, powder, hints of citrus: very sickly sweet. The scent is soapy and stuffy, like being cooped up in an Americana/victoriana gift shop that sells tea accessories, jewelry, dolls, scarves, purses, and Christmas ornaments. After 10 minute dry down: The scent doesn’t change much for me, just becomes subdued. Overall: Rose, it appears, is one of the more stereotyped scents. It screams old lady and soap and that is not my imagined olfaction of how the Palace at Versailles would smell. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Bottle: Smells very much like berries (stronger in cherry than strawberry) and vanilla cake. Wet on skin: Plastic cherry and vanilla. The plastic odor is strong on me and offensive for the first 5 minutes. After 10 minute Dry down: Mellows out to graham cracker and strawberry. The plastic odor has dissipated to the faint scent of a Strawberry Shortcake Doll from 1983. Brings back memories. Overall: Once it dries down this is a fun, playful, berry-lighthearted scent, however short-lived. 3 out of 5 stars.

Age: 2011 Imp: Fuzzy, tangy fruits, slight spicing. Wet on skin: Pear is dominant. After 10 minute Dry down: A tuberose-like scent emerges from the pear that is buttery floral. 2.5 out of 5 stars.
