Tried and love Dorian Dragon's Musk O Smut Snake Oil Vicomte de Valmont Wings of Azrael Womb Furie '11 Zorya Would love to try Aeval Algaea Arcana Bastet Bathsheba Black Phoenix Black Lace Blood Amber Blood Kiss Brisingamen Czernobog Embalming Fluid Fallen Fascinum Fenris Wolf Haunted Ode On Melancholy Paris Phantasm Prurience Scherezade Spellbound Tamora Titus Andronicus Twilight Veil Villain Wanda Whoso List To Hunt Zephyr Just Curious Ave Maria Gratia Plena Bien Loin d’Ici Defututa Faustus Himerus King of Hearts Lampades Libertine Lilith Mania Osun Phobos Tushnamatay Wilde Notes of love: Musk, musk, and did I mention...musk? Also, fresh, citrusy scents, honey, and vanilla reign at the top of the list. Notes of not so much: Rose seems to go soapy on me, and cedar / most wood scents get a bit too strong and make me smell like a bed of wood chips.

In the bottle - Honey. All I get is honey. On me, wet - Yup. Honey. This is like I just stuck my hand in a beehive and brought it out all nice and coated with honey. If I sniff *REALLY* hard, I can get some amber and a hint of vanilla, but it's overwhelmingly honey. Really wanting to love this since I had to decide between ordering a bottle of this, Dorian, or Snake Oil, and I know I already LOVE Dorian. On me, dry down - Dry down is showing promise. Amber is coming out to play and changing this to a much more musky smell, which is a huge improvement IMO. Honey-musk....interesting.... On me, dry, several hours - Vanilla-honey musk. Okay, I like it. That's a lie. I LOVE it. I may even love it more than Dorian, which I am already planning to keep a lifetime supply of. This is incredibly fabulous and totally sexy.

I want a BPAL that smells like Bath & Body Works...
RebeccaRose replied to sihaya09's topic in Recommendations
Okay, so my current favorite fragrance of all-time (on myself) is Moonlight Path from Bath and Body Works (I'm waiting on my first BPAL order to arrive, so the top spot may change once I start trying different things). For those unfamiliar, he's a summary of the scent: Fragrance Top Notes: Bergamot, Lavender, Mandarin, Coriander Fragrance Mid Notes: Rose, Jasmine, Violet, Tuberose, Ylang, Lily of the Valley Fragrance Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Vanilla, Amber, Musk I absolutely adore how this scent blends with my body chemistry, and would love any recommendations of BPAL scents I should focus on for my first few orders. I'd love to never have to step foot in that store again, because I just get a headache from the overwhelming clash of too many smells all at once. As a general note, I love lavender, bergamot, coriander, and musks normally. I tend to avoid super-sweet smells, as they make me slightly nauseous and tend to cause headaches. Thanks for the help!! ~Becky
