Mmmmm, awesome tropical fruit with a little bit of booze around the edges. It's delicious and wonderful; a great fruity counterpart to Pele's flowers. I want to get my friend in bartending school to make a drink like this now.
-
Mmm, sweet and foody and rich. I agree with the pastry descriptions. There's just enough beeswax and amber to round it out and anchor the scent. My girlfriend will probably approve of this one, if she doesn't want to steal it.
-
For New Year's Eve, I'm going to a party with the theme of "the inmates are running the asylum" and I'll be dressed as a sexy doctor/scientist. I'm thinking Thunder Moon or something else with a lot of ozone.
-
Mmmm, awesome. The scent is mostly citrus, with a darker aspect from the patchouli. Very nice and not overwhelming in use. The oil has an excellent consistency and doesn't leave the skin too greasy or slippery. The cap dispenses small drops, just the right amount. And it does what it says on the tin, with regard to inspiring passion.
-
Very appley wet. Once it dries, the apple lightens but doesn't disappear, and the smoke and patchouli and resins are most prominent. Definitely autumn bottled.
-
Mmmmm. I get fir and pine primarily, with a sexy, sensual trace of amber and musk warming and rounding the scent. It's still a sharp and biting scent, but with complexity and depth from the smoke and flora. I adore this; I love outdoorsy scents.
-
Frederic is strongly woodsy, and the salty notes are also prominent. The rose is a subtle softening influence. Overall, it's definitely masculine, but delightfully so. I had been contemplating ordering Dee, but this is similar enough that I will stick to this one.

This is starry and crystalline all right. The florals are all white, and it totally evokes black skies spangled with stars. Sparkly and detached and elegant.
-
The first thing I get is the mint, and the purple florals right behind it. Violet doesn't dominate at all, at least to me. Musk, as usual, wraps everything together and grounds it beautifully on my skin. This might be a distant cousin of Whitechapel, with the lilac and musk, but it's much sweeter and more feminine.

Okay, I really like this. I've been on a total "burned things" kick, and this goes right along with that. It's dark grey-black, the scent of things burned all the way to ashes. It has a bit of a tang to it, as one might guess, and maybe a trace of ozone. Mostly carbon and ash, though. -

The metal and leather blend smoothly on my skin, not particularly masculine but nice. The oil does smell a bit like fresh vacuum pump oil; long-chain hydrocarbons are pretty distinctive. This is a subtle blend, nicely steampunky but unobtrusive. -

Wine, and rose, and the dark resins, are what I first picked up on. It stays pretty true to that, with the resins fading into the background and the rose mostly enhancing the wine. I love BPAL's wine note. This is rich and dark and sexy. Fabulous. -
Mmm! Honey first, then sage, and saffron. The saffron boggles me in a good way. It's like, who would make a perfume that smells like saffron? and get it so exactly right? Clearly, Beth would. The scent settles as a herbal honey, more or less, and is really delightful. I like this one.

Wet, this is lovely. The berries and wood are most prominent, and the whole is a dark, sweet scent. It does seem appropriate to the character. Upon drydown, it becomes mostly wood and leather. I don't usually amp wood, but Antikythera Mechanism did the same thing recently. Odd. ...Although it seems that lots of people are getting wood and leather on this one, so perhaps my skin hasn't changed.

Picture burying your face in a man's shoulder; that scent of clean masculine skin, and perhaps whatever body products he uses. Mostly that distinctive testosterone-laced skin, not sweat or sex, just maleness. That's what this smells like on me. Luckily, I enjoy genderf*ckery. Although it does make me wish for a cute boy...
