Add me to list of folks that love this scent! As with many others, it doesn't have much staying power on me, but I love it anyway. I will have to figure out a different way to wear/use it. Initially, it has a very strong gingery scent. That mellows out after 20-30 minutes as the milk and honey start to make an appearance. The scent continues to be dominated by the ginger, but has a nice, soft background with the milk and honey. At this point, be ause of how quickly it disappears, I'm undecided If I want to get a bottle.

Hetairae is an interesting scent. Unfortunatly, it isn't one that I'll be keeping. When I bought it, I was drawn to it because the "ingredients" sounded so interesting and lovely. And, it IS lovely. Wet, the figs and ylang ylang are most prominent and give the sweet scent that is very prettily complimented by the cloves. The drydown, while it isn't powdery smelling, reminds me very strongly of a scented powder my grandma used to wear. It's still lovely, I just dont want to smell like my Maw Maw. Off to swaps this one goes.

I love this scent when I first put it on. It's all delicious blackberry without being overly fruity or juicy. The blackberry is nicely layered over a background of heather. For about 40 minutes. After that, it all goes to roses and it makes me a very sad girl. The dry scent is lovely, but not what I want. I'm definitely keeping this one; I WILL find a use for it, even if it's as a room spray.

This is all roses all the time on me! I honestly didn't get any dirt or oakmoss at all. This is my first rose BPAL, so I'm not sure if it's that I amp roses or if the dirt or oakmoss that just doesn't work for me. This is in my swap pile, but I may give it one more try.

This came to me as a frimp and, I have to say, I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I thought it smelled ok in the decant, but not fantastic. As soon as I put it on it turned to baby powder. I loved the description and the idea behind it, it just isn't for me.

When I first sniffed this straight out of the imp, I was a little frightened of it! It smelled overwhelmingly floral, like a flowery kick in the face. On, however, is a different story. Wet: it's all gardenia and still quite strong, but not overpowering like I thought it would be. Dry: the gardenia mellows and the vanilla really comes out. I'm not getting a huge sense of spiciness, but I'm sure it's there. I'll have to wait a few more hours for the final verdict, but so far I really like it. I've had it on for about 1.5 hours and it hasn't changed too much from the original drydown scent. This is definitely one of my favorites so far. ETA: It's official. I love this scent! I want to bathe in it!
