2005 version. First and second and third sniffs: it keeps changing. The scent of the woods at night, warm and damp. On wet, I get the woods, as well as something slightly spicier – some of the spices, I would imagine. After a while, the sweetness of the apple starts to come out more. All of the notes are well-blended on me, so it's hard to pick them out, other than to note that this smells REALLY good. Over the course of several hours, it gets drier – still sweet and spicy, but with an undercurrent of drying, crunchy leaves. It smells so indefineably like fall, and has decent throw and lasting power, as well. It's an amazing scent.

Sniff: Augh! Where did the bathtub cleaner come from? On me: ah. Flowers. Lots of them. Mnergh. It's pretty enough, but club-you-over-the-head flowers are just not something I want to smell like. Later on...Well, it's getting a lot less "omg, FLOWER GARDEN" and much more calm and deep. The influence of the vanilla, perhaps? Maybe I could like this. However, after a second try, I've discovered that my first instinct (OMG FLOWERS AND BATHROOM CLEANER) was correct. This scent gave me the worst headache. My body chemistry and Euphrosyne do not mix. It's got to be the damn roses. And possibly the jasmine. This one's off to find a more loving home!

Sniff: Sexy and round. On me: WOW. Just...Warm, and round, and like a long lazy night after you've been thrown off the Black Pearl, and you've got your head on Captain Jack's shoulders, and you're just watching the waves wash in on the beach. It smells so warm - I'd love this as a linen spray so that I could cuddle into this on my pillows at night. I'm terrible at identifying individual notes, but I love every single one in this! It's warm and just barely floral, and definitely brings to mind the idea of lazing around on a mysterious tropical island with a pirate. The notes all work together well. It only lasts about four hours on me, by which time my nose is pressed to my wrist in an attempt to bring the good stuff back. But that's okay! <3. Big bottle? I love this one so much!

Sniff: Warm greens. On me: slightly spicy, green and warm. I'm guessing the sage? I love the hint of sweet pea. As this dries, it settles down to a nice musk. It's a comfortable scent - fresh but not bright. It lasts all day without being overwhelming at any point. Overall, a very enjoyable scent - I like it!
