It could be batch difference, or maybe age- I've never seen Oblivion in any incarnation, so I'm not totally sure on that, but batches can sometimes look pretty different. If neither of them smell weird or off, they're both probably ok to use, one's just ...green!

Wet, this is somewhere between coconut, honey, and wax. But dry... when it dries it really shines. This smells exactly like what the description implies- beeswax. Gorgeous, gorgeous beeswax. This is soft and lovely and I wouldn't mind taking a bath in it. To be totally honest, it's a little sweeter than I like, and not enough (or any) smoke, but I still adore this. I could see this layering beautifully with another smoke oil.

This smells like a dirty coconut. No, really. It's gorgeous, though, once you get past the whole mushroom thing. Wet, it's like a warm dirt blanket. Dry, it's like a warm, spicy, coconutty dirt blanket. I love this one! I only wish it was stronger.

Mmmm! This smells like what I imagine an opium den would really smell like. It's sweet and hazy and almost syrupy sweet and I love it. I didn't think something this sweet would appeal to me, but it's not foody sweet or vanilla sweet, so it really hits the spot when I want something sweet smelling. I'm so glad I got a bottle of this!

Now this is a clown I could scare children with. I love the dirt and grass and leather combo in this so darn much. It's a little more masculine, but I think plenty of ladies can make this work easily. Plus, with a little age, this gem will probably be gorrrrgeous. Mmm! The only clown I liked, and boy do I like it!

Bourbon vanilla, white mint, and white chocolate with a squirt of lemon meringue and a dribble of absinthe. This is so light I can barely smell it! There's a whiff of vanilla and lemon, but little else. I poured a good sized drop of this on my wrist and still very little smell from it. I like what I do get out of it, but I doubt this is something I'll want to wear very often. It's inoffensive and very light. 3 out of 5 stars, imo. Maybe aging will help this little guy out?

I am SO disappointed by this one. The wet phase is amazing, all berries and pie crust with a little marshmallow-y sweetness on top. Then, in the blink of an eye (literally less than half an hour) this turns to vaguely lemon-scented wax on me. (((

I wanted to try this since I saw the name. I love swampy things and aquatic notes, so I had high hopes for this. And it delivers! It's a bit more sweet than I expected, but that makes it more accessible. I'd love this even if it was more aquatic and green and less floral, but I love it how it is now, too! eta: after some intense huffing of this stuff last night (after spraying, ofc) I've definitely noticed 'something darker' underneath all the sweet. Like... a murky shadow just under the water of the swamp waiting to jump out and drag you in. >)

This is gorgeous. In the bottle I get a lot of masculine lavender (the almost salty, herbal kind of smell lavender has when you sniff the plant) and then the hay and amber. This is freaking beautiful! If I was the type who got multiple bottles instead of a ton of different ones, this would be one to hoard. Someone mentioned that it smells like Chergui, and yeah. This is spot on in the bottle. I was trying to figure it out too, and then I was like OH WOW when I read Beatrice33's review.

I had to sniff this the moment it came in the mail. Oh man, I am so glad I bought this! It's so beautiful! The first thing I smell is fruit- Ichigo (strawberry) and plum jumps out, and then I get the soft florals. All florals go a bit soapy on me, but nothing too terrible. The soapiness goes away after a while, and I get plum and floral. I'm so excited to wear this during spring! In short, this is a very soft scent. Very soft, and very lovely.

I don't know what it is about my skin, but it devours the oils I want to love. I get that first burst of spicy non-descript bpal... and then nothing. Maybe a little bit of the woodsy, piny smell, but that's it. Poof, gone, in less than two hours. I'll have to try again in different places on my body. If I get any results I'll be sure to edit this post. The worst part, for me, is that I don't get even a sniff of rose! I was hoping this would be 'tintagel + roses', as someone described, but alas. No!

I adore calla lilies, but I didn't get much of them in this... or much of anything at all. Wet, it was soapy. Dry, it was soap for about 20 minutes and then it was totally gone! Poof, vanished, no smell at all.

Dirt and rain! This is so gorgeous, and no fruitiness like the reviews of WM 08 mention. I love dirt and I love rain, so this was perfect on me. My skin amps this kind of smell so it was pretty strong on me, but I loooove it, so no worries. This was the first bpal I've worn that people have commented on, actually! I was told it smelled "clean", which is funny, considering the description.

Wet: Fruit loops! Seriously, this is straight fruit loops to me. Dry: Still reminiscent of fruit loops, but with a sharper edge. Very much a candy, sweet oil. Not something I'd wear out and about, but when I'm just at home it's nice enough on my wrists.

Disclaimer- I spray my atmo stuff onto my pillows and sheets, usually not into the air, so I'm having a bit of a different experience at times. This one, when it's wet, smells awful to me. But then! Then it turns into this gorgeous polished wood scent that I just can't stop inhaling. When I spray DC onto my pillow before bed I spend a few long seconds just breathing it in. When I run out of this I'm definitely getting more- This is so freaking delicious smelling. The only downside is that it doesn't last nearly long enough on my pillow! I want to sniff this stuff forever and ever.

I don't have an answer for this, and this topic is oooold, but oh man do I love that soap- I have like a drop left in my ancient bottle of it. OP, did you ever find anything similar? Does anyone else have any ideas?

I like to associate my bpals with something I already know, so I have to say Molly Grue smells a bit like a blueberry poptart in the imp. The fig jumps out first on my skin, turning the poptart into a fig newton. Underneath that delightful fruitiness is wonderful spiciness. It smells almost like cumin, honestly. That sounds like it shouldn't work when it's all written down, but this is gorgeous... and I generally don't like fruity smells at all. I'd give this baby a 4.5/5, with a .5 reduction for its short life on my skin. I've got to try this one in my oil burner! Edited because I can't spell!

This will probably sound a bit odd, but on my skin this smells exactly like pizza spice. You know, that stuff they sell in a jar that they recommend you put on pizza and breadsticks and the like? That stuff. Even when it had all dried down it still smelled like the stuff. I never got anything fruity, either. I think it was just a freak combination with my skin, but still- weird! Though, pizza spice or no, it still smelled pretty darn good.
