Creamy sweet complex smoky floral. Heavy on the sweetness and complexity. Dia De Los Muertos is not what I expected at all. And I got an unsolicited compliment at work. (Possibly due to my inevitable reducer cap difficult. I always end up pouring a huge drop down my arm. heh.) I really can't get over how beautiful this is.

For the Stepford Wife, I think I'd go with De Sade. For the person who is bieng a rose, I think that Silentium Amoris may be the best one. Have fun everyone!

Saturnalia is the most purple thing I have ever smelt. (but I don't think it's anything like Noir or Queen of Spades)

Wolfsbane, Wolfsbane, Wolfsbane!!! I see you've already got it comeing in a swap, but it really is woodsy. And it is so delicious. Highly recommended.

I'm being a Zombie for halloween, so I will wear Zombi for halloween. Got to!

Saturnalia is one of my absolute favorites. But I think that Old Sybaris will probably give you what you're looking for. It isn't really very chocolatey, but it is quite spicy.

That's awesome! Wolfsbane was just what I was going to suggest. I love it, too. You might also try Phobos for that clean citrusy smell. And, I know somebody else already suggested Baobhan Sith and Imp, but they are both fantastic. You might love Xiuhtecuhtli. It's got a bit of floral, but it's mainly orangey and incensey. It's really delicious. And I'm definitely not a floral person, and yet I love Queen Mab. If you haven't tried it, you may want to consider it.

Also try Aunt Caroline's Joy Mojo it's very berryish.

That's pretty much exactly what I was going to say. Smells like Water of Notre Dame, but flowerier. I didn't realize that it was the peace and compassion one when I put it on. But, that explains alot about how I've been feeling today. I've been very peaceful. Maybe a little too peaceful since I'm at work. But, good stuff.

At first on me, Jabberwocky is mainly eucalyptus, with a strong blast of pine. I made my boyfriend smell it and he said, "Smells like a monster!" But it quickly settles down, and is nice and foresty and happy. And then it's gone. I like smelling like a monster!

For me, storm is first a flash of mint and then immediately citrus. Stays citrusy and slightly watery for a brief while, and then it's gone. Within an hour this was gone from my skin. Oh well, gives me an excuse to put something else on.

My experience with Sol is different than the above reviews. On me, sol is lemony but not sweet, a touch of vanilla and cinnamon, possibly a touch of coconut. Sol is warming and cheery. Perhaps I am a child of the Sun after all.
-
There's really not much to add here. It is cranberry! And then lightly flora, spicy light musk. In her review, lorajc said to give it an hour before judging. But on me, after an hour it is gone. I guess my skin really loved it!

Perfectly enchanting! An irresistibly sexual, utterly rapturous blend of three roses, radiant amber, and sensual red musk. Spellbound is the most "evening" scent I've tried. A womanly scent, Spellbound seems suited to a big black-tie night at the opera or a fancy dinner party or a blind date.

I did not experience any burning or redness whatsoever. At first I was very careful, and applied in only a tiny spot. When I realized it wasn't burning at all, I put it everywhere! Ha! At first Mercury is all Lavendar. Then it is all Cinnamon! Finally, it combines into a really beautiful, unique fragrance. 5 hours later, it's gone.

Wolf's Heart was so much more floral than I expected. When I think of Wolves, I don't think of flowers. As to the effect. Lately, I've been having alot of trouble with going to sleep. I'm always afraid that somebody's going to break into the house, etc. A bit crazyparanoid, I know. The Wolf's Heart really helped. I don't know if it was the placebo effect, or what, but I definitely did not feel afraid when I went to bed last night. And I got to sleep fairly quickly, which is almost unheard of for me.

La Petit Mort. Somehow I expected something stronger. At first, I honestly could not smell this at all. Putting the vial up to my nose, I couldn't smell it. So I slaaaaathered it on. My boyfriend said he could smell it and it smelled like baby powder. But he says that about alot of things, so I didn't pay much attention. About 30 minutes later, I could smell this very subtle, pleasant fragrance and realized it was coming from me. Weird, but nice. If there isn't something wrong with my nose, this could be a good work scent.

Well, I was going to say almost the exact same thing that Requiem-of-Roses said. Even down to the little girls! It is a perfect innocent, late spring, childhood scent. I'm totally going to get a bottle of this as springtime draws near.
-
This is so much different from what I expected. Soft, light and sweet. Occasionally, I get little whiffs of coconuttiness. Mostly white musk and plum and something else. Probably the opoponax, since I have no idea what that might smell like! *editing because I forgot to say that I am completely in love with the King of Spades!

Well, wearing this doesn't work for me. It gives me a big ol' headache. It is almondy and smokey and vanillay like the others have suggested and none of those things usually give me a headache. But, thee headache definitely comes on every time I put my nose to my wrist. But I will try using it in a ritual.

Chaos CXXII I traded with Violetblue for this one. It is at first overwhelmingly menthol. Sinusclearingly menthol. Even with the cap on it is menthol. Once on it quickly settles down and becomes menthol (which seems to be some sort of mint and eucalytpus) and aquatic. Now, I'm not usually one for aquatic scents, but this is different. It's so fresh. Not floral or sweet at all. And will definitely be good for those days when I need something aquatic. And for those days when I need my sinuses cleared.

My experience was much more like ladylatemar's. It is very floral. Though to me it smells more like sweet pea than anything else. I get a little bit of something herbal, but no peachy-apricoty-ness. I haven't had it on long enough to experience any good luck effects, so we'll see about that. *editing later 'cause I'm wearing it again. It doesn't smell like sweet pea this time. More like jasmine. And since jasmine has a tendency to take over on me, that's what it does. But it also does lift my spirits.

That's what I was going to suggest. Civet smells totally gross on me. Especially Red Devil, it smells like cat spray and bad breath! Nobody could find that attractive.
-
On me, this is at first soapy. Then rosey. Then rose and sweetpea. It's nice, but not me. Oh well.

VanVan. I really like taking a bath with VanVan. It makes me feel clean. Spiritually as well as physically.
