Neo-Tokyo and Sea of Glass both come off as a sharp, shiny stainless steel kind of metallic on me. Not sure if you're looking for that or a more smoky, dark iron feel though.

Ok, so I looked through all TWENTY TWO pages to make sure this wasn't asked yet... but my eyes started to glaze over around page seven, and it's very possible I may missed something. When the movie Memoirs of a Geisha came out, Fresh released a perfume called, er, Memoires of a Geisha. It was my signature scent while my bottle lasted, but I've long since run out, and the perfume was limited edition to tie in with the movie. Sephora still had the information up even though it's not being sold any more, so here it is: Develop an air of mystery and sensuality with this subtle blend of sheer jasmine flower and pure rose absolute with sparkling langsat fruit and white peach. Gentle undertones of iris root, white sandalwood, and musk highlight and enhance the scent without overpowering. Despite the description, it's really not terribly fruity. Any recs for a BPAL scent that comes close? Preferably something GC, since I'm too greedy with my imps to trade?

Ouija, Lucy's Kiss, and Marie are my go-to Victorian scents. And Goblin and Bengal are kind of Woodstock-era on me. Maenad also has sort of a 60s - 70s craziness to it, but in more of a mod way than in a hippie way. Belle Epoque, Bien Loin d'Ici, and Paris are great for the Art Deco era. Let's see, what else... Mata-Hari always makes me think of a sophisticated Flapper chick. Penny Dreadful does a good job, at least to me, of evoking a 30s noir heroine. Le Serpent Qui Danse, Nocture, and Black Dahlia on the other hand, would be great for a silent film star vamp. Oh, and 51 and Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat are kind of 80s to me, since they're both a little eccentric and "out there." 51 makes me think of all the sci-fi movies and cartoons I loved in the 90s, and TTLB sort of reminds me of the crazy fashions. One more thing - Ephemera is great for evoking a bygone era, but I can't place exactly which... I suppose Victorian would be closest, but really, to me it seems more like a scent of wistful memories in general. I think it could evoke a lot of different eras to different people. I agree, this is a great topic!

Going to Disneyworld is a big yearly event for my family, and I wanted to get a bunch of imps ahead of time this year so I can wear a different scent for each of our 7 days there. We're going at the beginning of Oct, but it'll probably be very hot and summery there. Does anyone have suggestions that put them in mind of - the Magic Kingdom, Pleasure Island, MGM Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and waterparks? What would you specifically suggest for each? I've only ordered from here once, and I just don't know where to start!! Oh, btw, I'm only 21 so I suppose younger scents are better. One more question - my friends and I are going to the Magic Kingdom Halloween party as Romans (We're Classics majors, heh). Any good scents to add to our costumes? Male ones are ok too, since there are three guys in our group. Anyway, I love the wonderful suggestions people come up with here, so I can't wait to see your responses! (If you don't want to come up with suggestions for each, one or two would still be awesome...)
