Okay. I'm the Queen of Indecisiveness. Hence I usually decide on the whim of a moment. My order is placed and hopefully it arrives before I leave the country I placed it just as I wrote here, but maybe I should have included Snake Oil. All I can smell is Snake Oil... yumm. -

Nonono bad Medvssa! No enabling for more scents, I'm trying to make my order SMALLER not BIGGER The thing with "you can get it later" are the $13 shipping, but we have talked about that already. I guess, I am going to buy all of them at one time or the other anyway, so I can do it now as well. The imps for all three were about the first imps I ever got so I have them since 3 years now (whoa) - and I still love them. But everytime I ordered I thought "hey, this scent is an LE, you can get the GC later still, get the LE now!". Poor neglected GC scents. The only thing that bugs me is that all of them are so alike - powdery, sweetly, all of them. Hum. Diversion can be nice too... I just realized that I have bought 5 out of my 6 bottles without trying them out first - I only knew that Dragon's Milk smelled nice, the others were unknown to me. With the exception of Hearth, I love them all to pieces, so I'm not worried about the LEs. I'm sure I'll love them. -
You know I thought that I had overcome my addiction. As you can see I'm already a member since 2005 but for the last two years I never even visited the BPAL homepage anymore. I still use my BPALs occasionally, but I didn't give it a second thought. I don't know why this is changing now, though? For starters, here are the bottles I own (current list is here) Regular scents: Dragon's Milk Antique Lace Limited Editions - Yule 2005 Hearth Snow White April's Fool 2006: Enraged Bunny Musk Lunacy 2006: Dragon's Moon I have a stash of Imps here, that I never gave a second thought to. But now I wonder why I never bought my favorite scents but the ones listed above instead. I absolutely adore White Rabbit, Alice, Persephone and Dana O'Shee but never got around buying them. Why? I think I got distracted by all those LEs. I think I should mend that now. I'm sure there are other scents I love but never considered buying, I need to dig out my spreadsheet. I've always had a problem with the scents fading too fast on me, which might be because of the kind of scents I like (the light, sweet, floral ones) - they don't have as much staying power as others do. I think that's sad because if I like a scent I want to smell it all the time without having to stick my nose to my wrist. So - welcome back to the addiction, I guess.

I got an Imp of this because I have trouble falling asleep lately - more trouble than usual to be exact, because I don't have an easy time falling asleep anyway, it takes one or two hours for me. Wet, it is a very nice lavender. It does not have this astringent sting I'm accustomed to from my lavender EO, which is a very pleasant surprise. There is a hint of lemon, but not very much at all (I really don't care for lemon, so I'm very happy about that). As it dries down, the lavender starts to fade and makes room for a sweet and very soft rose, the faint lemon hint is gone completely. It smells exactly like the roses my mother grows in her garden. I'm not sure about other florals, so I'm pretty sure that my skin makes a single note rose out of Somnus. And what a pretty rose it is! Unfortunately, it doesn't help me fall asleep, staying asleep or being more refreshed in the mornings at all. It is nice to have something pleasant to smell while trying to sleep, though, so I'm using up my Imp, but I won't buy a big bottle of this.

I think Yggdrasil may be close. On me it was all cedary sandalwood with some cinnammon - don't know if this may be the spices and sweetness you have in mind, but I really liked it. You should give it a try!

Forest & Woods Scents (with and without evergreens)

Yggdrasil was a piney forest on me too - it faded a bit, but was still noticable after a while, so I don't think that it matches the "pine-free forest". I'm watching this thread too, as I like pine-free more than a coniferous forest -

How much does it cost to ship internationally?

Hi, sorry if it's a dumb question but - do I have to pay 8$ or 9$ for 9 imps to Germany? I'm confused because the initial posting says 9$, a reply says 8$ but the first posting isn't changed and the homepage still says 9$. I don't want to bother the lab, because I understood that they have much work to do anyway. And I want to chose the right amount, because I understood that I have to order via PayPal and place the order in the PayPal comments field without getting a notification about the right charge (therefore I won't know if I did it right or not). Thanks in advance Juli
