HONEY PUMPKIN STOUT A smoky honey oatmeal stout with pumpkin mash. This is a really deep Pumpkin. Lots of depth to the notes. It draws me in. And the Smokiness works perfectly to make this read Autumnal. I love the scent and its substantially different than any other Pumpkin soap or perfume I've ever tried. Wish there was a perfume version. I just shaved of a smidgeon to put inside my bra- Pumpkin Stout is strong enough to waft upwards. Mmmmm. Note- this could work for a guy.

Warm, glowing Amber. A bit of brightness from the Orange but I detect none of the "bitterness" a few other reviewers found. Overall, my impression after about a minute is this is a White Floral pared down to an almost Zen-like simplicity. To a point, it reads as a skin scent.

Fluffy, green/yellow smoothness. A happy and uplifting scent. Reminds me of the hard candies we used to get called Cremesavers. And also Lemon Ice Cream. Not lemon sherbet but lemon ice cream... so hard to find anymore. I can easily imagine putting this into rotation for my daily work outs. Just enough zip for energy and just enough mint to keep from getting to over heated and just enough vanilla cream to smell yummy as I burn calories. Haven't been this happy with a citrus since Lemon Scented Sticky Bats.

This is Brown/Green. Smooth burnished wood, some leafy green (not much) and something in this that makes me think of grains and I also get a touch of creamy sweetness. Perhaps the Acorn/Sap? Nothing resembling berries, not even faintly. I think this would be INSANELY gorgeous on a guy.

Deep dark purple. Cozy warmth. VERY low pitched- this is the antithesis of screeching white florals. As much as I love this, it has zero throw. I have to put my arm up to my nose. It would be fantastic to mix into a lotion but that's a bit too extravagant for me so I'll have to pass this gorgeousness on.

This is one of my favorite 2011 Halloween blends. It somehow reminds me of Jane Austen. Incense wafting from a country chapel in the English countryside surrounded by blooming late Spring flowers. On me, this is perfection. It smells incredibly gorgeous in a very classical way.

An unrestrained Floral/Apple blend where the Apple recedes fairly quickly leaving more of the Pomegranate.
-
Beautiful fragrant Florals and with a strong but juicy Apple. Floral lovers rejoice but caution to all others.

Piling on here to add some more love to the party. I can smell the huge congregation of notes listed and it's fantastic how they work together harmoniously. The Cigarette notes that one might pick up actually give the other notes the perfect contrast. I am reminded of Black Velvet Clown. Not as a doppleganger but as another example of so many different kinds of notes meshing together for a wonderful scent impression.

Apple Cider smells just like it should. Sweet dark Apple with just the right amount of Spice to avoid craft shop and then a pleasant zing from the Citrus.

A very happy, pretty and girly (but not childish or prim) scent for Fall. The Florals and Fruits are vibrant and colorful. Wouldn't have detected Chocolate without reading the Notes but something lovely is grounding all the scents along with the Pumpkin. Very pleased with this.

Bonfire Night meets Mitzvah? This is gooey burnt marshmallow. Still hot and drippy. Perfect

An Energetic, somewhat refreshing Apple scent.

Golden sun scent with a bare and gentle touch of green. Something balsamic or menthol underneath that moves from warm to refreshing. I get little citrus though. And citrus usually amps like crazy. Maybe an herbal citrus-tinged glow. This is actually very pretty and somewhat quieter than I'd have imagined for Leo. Things worked out very well for me today after using it. At least so far. Tonight I might go to an art gallery opening. Could be interesting.

I really love this. I'm an Incense & Resin girl. This is all that and more. It's got a creamy vibe (Cocoa Butter/Almond Milk/Beeswax) and just enough Verbena to float through the Summer heat without being dark and dense the way scents like this is often are. A big bonus for me is this lasts a long time. And BPAL's rarely do on my skin.

This has a serious medicinal blast at first. But hold on! It zooms into a Clove/Lime high and then descends into a the depths of the Plum/Poppy. This is perfume at its finest. It swoops and swirls around and around the various notes before settling into gorgeous velvety bliss. Freaking awesome experience.

This is the perfect scent for me. It works so well. It's elegant without being overly formal. Earthy but not dirty. Creamy yet somehow dry. Sensual with a touch of Smut. I can imagine wearing this any time. Red Lace and Black Lace didn't work on me. This is a dream come true.

Gorgeous scent that disappears within minutes. Really heartbreaking. Where does it go? How can something that suits me so well be so impossibly short-lived? WHY? -
This arrived today just as I went shopping for lemons to make lemon meringue pie. LOL! It's like that but without the pastry. Pretty sure this is a keeper for the up-coming hot weather. Surprised I like this so much as lemon usually overwhelms my skin chemistry.
-
Wild. I barely get 'warm' and forget burning or fiery. And forgetting that oddness- this is a great skin scent.
-
I'll reiterate the words "simple, soft and clean". Maybe just a wee bit of headiness from the Rice Wine. It's a fabulous spin on BPAL's skin scents. In a way it really portrays the subject matter as it's a scent that's been stripped down to a bear minimum for striking effect. Just to clarify by saying clean- it's not ozone or citric or baby-powderish. It's just not fussy.
-
Dazzling and elegant are adjectives others have used that strike me as very appropriate for this scent. Combining Plum and Grapefruit, two of my favorite notes, was a stroke of genius. And they absolutely manage to keep the Florals well behaved and fresh. Lovely.
-
I love this too. But I"m not getting "fizzy". I'm getting sort of an ozone or aquatic feel... maybe to mimic the salt water taffy? I'm pretty sure this is accomplished by a musk and a floral. But this is in the best possible way. It's jelly bean perfume no a perfume that smells like jelly beans, if that makes sense.

Extraordinarily pretty floral perfume. And Fresh. And gentle. And sweet.

Lovely! Sugared Plums that aren't too sweet and the Cocoa plays the role of a foodie version of Patchouli here giving just a smidgeon of earthiness. The Tiare is so whispy. The apricot gives this a lightness.
