Yummm, love this one. Might be my favourite of the snake pits. I bought an aged 1/2 bottle unsniffed because I love mint & snake oil.. It's the kind of mint in snowblind, more mellow & spearminty to me than the OMG TOOTHPASTE of Lick It. It's just lovely & rich & not harsh at all.

There's really not much for me to add to the description, it is exactly that. Very sweet melty vanilla ice cream. I can see it in the bottom of the bowl when I sniff, the leftover liquid from whatever dessert it accompanied. Utterly, utterly gorgeous. Need a big bottle.

I hate cinnammon so I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before I bought the imp of this, lol.

On me it's fruity with the prune, but not overly sweet (as you'd expect), with a little spice & I totally get the bubblegum another reviewer mentioned. It's subtle though, not like JAILBAIT BUBBLEGUM IN YO FACE!!

Really nice & unusual. Though not nice enough for me to want more, I have other scents I prefer.

Every Christmas me & the OH get a bottle of Cherry Brandy & a bottle of Amaretto to mix with Coke & make Cherry Cola cocktails, this tastes like that (minus the amaretto) If I were nitpicking I'd say it would be perfect a little sweeter but I love it anyway

Jesus. I applied this to the back of my hand & it was like a suckerpunch to the gut. I was hit with memories of my Dad's funeral, pertty much transported back to it actually. The flowers, the smell of the damp earth, the feel of my heels sinking into the mud on the hill at the side of the grave, the grey sky.

Very evocative. I don't know if I could ever wear this without feeling heartbroken but it certainly achieves what it set out to.

To my nose, Sybil resembles Lush's Imogen Rose, only Sybil is more complex & obviously IR is more powdery.

2010 - I adore rose, and I adore this scent. It's definately haughty, it's a booming, in your face

"LOOK AT ME" rose. I envisage a single, huge velvety red rose that's almost got a black tinge to it with thick, sharp thorns. Glad I got a decant & would buy a partial bottle if I had some spare $$ and one came available.

2010 - Rose is one of my favourite notes but I don't love this. It's definately a realistic rose but smells bitter to me. I much prefer Peacock Queen from the Rose Yules.

*Sigh* so wanted to love this but it turns to plastic strawberry then seriously strong baby powder.

I'm a cheesecake hoor so I had to have this. I get mostly peach, with the creaminess of the cheesecake and a teeny bit of strawberry. I get no graham cracker crust though. Bought a decant & lucklily snagged a bottle from a forumite once I'd smelled it. Love this one.

I bought an imp of this because it makes me think of Jeffrey Coombs, and he & Bruce Cambell are my B-Movie idols... But I digress..This is definately too masculine for me to wear out of the house but it reminds me of my late Dad.. He would *always* smell good, he had tons of scents and when I kissed him goodbye I would smell his cologne on my cheek & this reminds me of that. It makes me feel all warm inside with happy memories. If my imp ran out I would buy another but not a bottle.

Your best GC bet would be Roses, Pearls and Diamonds[/i]. The notes are:

 

Red roses, dazzling crystalline musks, and pearlescent coconut-tinged orris.

 

You could also try London which won't be as sweet as Hope but has a similar tea rose note: Tea Rose… twisted, blackened and emboldened with wickedness.
