How beautiful this is! The lavender is prominent, like I had hoped and I smell a bit of musk underneath and only a touch of leaves with some sweet florals. I am so glad I was able to buy a bottle on etsy...this is a special perfume! ETA this oil is a semi dark reddish brown! Quite unexpected!

This is beautiful. If you've been missing Vechernyaya, this is in the same vein! Powdery myrrh, dark musk and dark poppies.

A white chypre drenched in soft spring rain against a backdrop of gently swaying bamboo reeds. Definitely aquatic but the bitterness that usually happens on my skin with most aquatics (except There's Water Here) is not happening here! This is a beautiful springtime perfume. If you kept trying to like Wild Swans at Coole (like me) but it never quite sat well (muguet possibly?) give this a try...it is riveting. Also...this was reminding me of a (sorry!) favorite drugstore cologne that I wore in the early 90's... thanks to TTP for helping me remember - Naturistics Botanical - the stuff in the pretty green bottle...this is quite similar, in all the right ways, and I am so excited! This is deeper and more exquisite, but they are similar to me :-) trying to be as helpful as possible - first review!

Gingerbread with red musk, patchouli, ylang ylang and myrrh. Imagine a patchouli-lite Lust where the ylang ylang is candied and the red musk is sugared. Add a shot of gingerbread and that is what the dry down smells like to me. In the bottle i smelled fresh Lust and a hint of gingerbread but once on, i had to keep sniffing (puzzled) because it doesn't smell like Lust to me...it smells gorgeous - perfumey gingerbread - but it doesn't smell like my beloved Lust. Huh. I cannot wait to see what some age does here, this should be some ride.

I am so excited to finally have a bottle of Peace! I smelled lavender like most people but now I'm also smelling some violet, which I quite like. I also smell vanilla or tonka. Peace smells beautiful. I will add more to this review after I use it for its intended purpose tomorrow. ETA: What a beautiful oil. I am a very high stress person and although this oil doesn't necessarily calm me, it is so beautiful that I cannot stay angry or frustrated. Beautiful.

Osmanthus, linden, tuberose, carnation, ylang ylang, and lemon tree blossoms with Himalayan cedar and a drop of tobacco absolute. This is so beautiful. All flowers present and blended seamlessly...perfect for spring! I need another bottle. This reminds me of the Primavera atmo spray from a few years ago, which i also love. Bravo.

I decided to take a last minute chance with this one and I'm not sure if I like it. I don't smell any pink pepper or patchouli...just lots of strawberry (yum) and rum (not so yum). I will let it sit for a few weeks and hope the patchouli will drown the rum! Eta: Beautiful. The patchouli and pink pepper are doing the most exotic dance. This is exquisite and I am so glad I took a chance.

I came here to write a review but LiberAmoris already wrote a better version of what I had to say. I tested this when I first got the decant and was underwhelmed. I tested again last night and just now and yup, knocking my socks off. I love it. ETA: This is aging beautifully. Now it is all about the saffron and rosewood...gorgeous.

Gorgeous after 15 minutes on my skin. Poppy, patchouli and a dark red wine...this could easily have fit into the Our Lady of Pain update from a few years ago. Classy, hot and makes my nose really happy.

Whoa. Could this be the only perfume where anise works on my skin??? I know I compare lots of perfumes to each other and as much as I dislike doing it, this is reminding me of SL Rousse like crazy!!! They smell similar but the sparkly vibe is the same. Oh dear...if you avoid anise (like I do) this might just be the exception. Wow.

Loads of Incense (NOT Nag Champa...) but I don't smell lemon of any sort at all. Huh. Nice incense note though!

This is one of the most interesting perfumes I have ever smelled...in the best way! I can pick out all of the notes just after I put it on but then everything melds into chocolate, pepper fantasy backed by clove, which is my least favorite part of this. If you don't want to smell like anyone else, this is your perfume! I would buy a bottle but the clove, minute though it may be, is just too much for me. Really artsy and well done!

Beautiful! Light and springlike pink pepper, vanilla, sandalwood and what my nose says is a touch of white tea.

This is so similar to a certain BPAL favorite of mine that I had to check the label after a few hours. Pure love here, and to think I almost passed it by because of the honey, which I never really smell. There is certainly a smoky aspect to this but it is very light. Wowza. This may be my other backup bottle purchase from this Luper update!!! Chewy patchouli and vanilla with just a hint of smoke.

I do not like honey/beeswax type notes...they never smell good on me, but I read Lilac fougere with lime and had to try it and hoped the honey would be in the background. Well, nope. This is all about the honey, so much that I never end up smelling lilac or lime, just a hint of fougere. That said, after an hour on my skin it smells pretty nice! I was going to sell my decant but now I'm having second thoughts. Honey haters? This may work for you...just sayin'. :-)

Soft leather, paper/ink and fresh, cold air. This is fantastic.

How about the See Saw? I keep thinking it sounds great except the rum but there are still no reviews!

This just happened to me with an imp of Snake Oil. It is very rare...

The perfected winter rose, dew covered and freshly cut. :-) i LOVE Rose Red. I have not lit the candle yet, and i might not ever because it throws its scent so well! I have had it sitting on my coffee table for atleast 2 weeks and it is so pleasant to sit down, catch a whiff, move my arm to grab something, get a waft, and it seriously makes me smile. BPAL hit it out of the park with Rose Red and i am thrilled to have the candle...even though i may never even light it. :-D Eta: I just wanted to add that I still haven't lit this candle and it still throws scent wherever I put it. Great scent.

With Himalayan cedar, violet leaf, and cade. Ok, i will review it since no one else has! I love this...but it has a specific niche - it evokes one of my favorite spots at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, WA in late summer, purely because it is the only place i have ever been surrounded by chestnut trees and a chestnut once fell and hit me on the shoulder (ow). So, when i am feeling nostalgic, i will spray this. It is a great scent but very masculine with a touch of sweetness. I don't know what cade is, so there's that. The violet leaf might provide a hint of tart greenery but the cedar (creamy cedar, not sharp pencil cedar - i love both) overshadows it. The chestnut is very present (and is not spiced!) and the fig must be the hint of sweetness. I love chestnut, it even smells chewy to me and am glad to have it in perfume oil and atmo spray this year! Good stuff!

Cypress boughs swaying in a crisp night breeze, with red sandalwood incense and blood grass. Well, I guess I will give my impressions since no one else has...its SO good. I think its the blood grass (whatever that is) that makes me think of red musk...not the cherry/grapey sort but a true red musk. The sandalwood incense is to die for and I don't get much cypress, though I can tell its there. My impressions are from a decant, just in case it matters. And I will be buying a bottle of this.

Gorgeous. The pink pepper is a tiny bit sharp at the moment but that's not a bad thing! I love pink pepper paired up with saffron - cannot go wrong! My sister says the neroli is the strongest note but I could barely pick it out until the drydown - not to say I can always smell accurately, lol! I can see how this could have a hateful vibe, but to me? Nothing but love - and it will age like a dream, if I let it last that long. ETA: the neroli is much more prominent now, and after a bit of drying down this is really nice.

Um, yes. This is perfect. Leaves, Vanilla, White Musk. Perfect.

This is spectacular. This is a new "wrapping myself up in a cozy sweater while enjoying a crisp Autumn breeze at Dusk" perfume for me...I love it. I get the same vibe from Autumn Overlooked my Knitting from last year. Wow - I bet the Vanilla will become more prominent with age, and the Myrrh is just soft and dreamy. These Dead Leaves perfumes are a dream come true for me.
