Wet: This has a healthy does of pine but it's balanced well with the minty cold snow. This is what I have been looking for in a snow scent ^__^ Normally aquatics are a total fail but Talvikku is bahving and frolicking nicely in the snowy forest Dry: Stayed pretty much the same as wet, just not as cold. Yay for a snow I can wear!!!!

Bottle: LAVENDER with a backdrop of something dark and toothy Wet: lavender and thyme. There is something weird running in an undercurrent... it has a lot of depth with a warmth that seems like it is trying to surface until thyme kicks me in the teeth. Dry: Lavender and thyme. The warm toothy nougat is surfacing more and is finally on an even level with the lavendar and thyme, making this blend herbal and interesting. A keeper for it's sheer uniqueness

I live in germany so I was pumped about this one!! bottle: spices, wood, almonds, a breath of apples... wet: THIS is the apple i have been waiting for my whole life. The almond is grounding, keeping the apple from becoming cloying. The woods set up a nice background and it smells atmospheric and christmassy without venturing into candle-land! YAY! Dry: OMG so sexy.... this may be my favorite yule ever. Makes me want to get drunk on mulled wine and have a roll with my man in some furs in front of a fireplace after skiing all day. I can't stop sniffing my arm

(2012 version) I was excited for this because I loooooooved last year's "The Night Hag visiting Lapland Witches (in the weenies) And was hoping for something similar, now comparing th notes of course they are different but I am a suck e for pine anyway haha Wet: Cold forest! Definitely the essence of the pine forest in winter, blended so wel the clove and pitch just seem to lift the pine out of "cleaning chemical" territory and make it round and sweet (as opposed to the smokey darkness of the night hag) Dry: Kind of cologne-y but still unisex. Although it is fresh and subtle, I can't wait to smell it on my man, I think other pine scents work better for me.

This might just be because it came in the mail last night, but it's quite odd.. Wet: Intense cream (maybe the goat?) with a side of rice and a hint of cherry Drying: Cream that is souring Dry: Rice and a whiff of cherry with a hint of that goaty-cream. Thank god this isn't a complete fail I was really looking forward to this one. Dry I love it, so hopefully once it settles and ages a bit it will work more.

In the bottle: butteyr pumpkin with dusty leather Wet: BLAST of pumpkin then WHAM dust, the leather creeps in and I even feel a touch of the stone from the labyrinth Dry: You can smell the fermented-ness of the pumpkin which makes it very evocative and keeps it from drifting into candle territory. Tpbacco and dust are grounding here while the pumpkin wafts swirling around. The only pumpkin scent i have had before was Samhain (and the pumpkin never came out in that for me) I'm delighted to say that with Hogle, I have become a dedicated pumpkin convert. I am so pleased that the rest of the decants i have coming are chock full of pumpkin. ^__^

SO HAPPY WITH THIS!!! I wanted something bright like Fae but more.... immortal and elf hits the nail on the the head. On me it smells like grapefruit with honey and the golden musk is perfect. It is aloof, warm and shimmering. Sunlight through dappled trees, first love that has managed to endure eons and become finer with each passing decade.

Received this as a frimp from Tielan. I was craving coconut and damn does this deliver! Wet: RUM coconut and SUGAR Drying: sugar coconut and what seems like wisps of the lightest breath of incense. Very fresh and when i sniff, it feels like it is opening something in my senses. I love it!!!

I recently ordered this unsniffed and I am glad I did. I knew it would be good. Bottle: Black musk and wood with w touch of cocnut and lemon Fresh: LEMON with an undercurrent of musky coconut. le NOM I really really really like this. It isn't as coconutty as i would have liked but luckily Tielan sent an imp of elegba too, which satifies my coconut urge. (SCORE i didn't even know about that one!) Tiki king is going to get oodles of use this summer. In fact, even though its just the beginning of spring, when i huff my wrists i can see the sunlight glinting off water, i can almost feel the rays adding subtle highlights to my hair. I can almost hear the gentle hum of humidity and sensual heat. WOOHOO bring on bikini season I feel like seducing my man in the sun!

I received my decant tonight and yesterday was Halloween. We walked around in costume scaring children and causing mischeif. This scent captures that whole feeling perfectly. The wet leaves, the smell of candy and costumes and having some drinks in honor of it all. Drying: Subtle, close to the skin. naughty and a little dark, A+!

Delicious Impending Darkness! I really dig this. Its in the same family as Nephilim, but I prefer Omen. It is definitely mysterious and cool. 4/5

Fresh mountain mist, a cool damp. Lush greenery dripping and tropical fruits and blooms waft their scent at high altitude. It creates a mysterious feeling. 4/5

Belladonna is very green and the earthiness kind of reminds me of psilocybin. It is subtely white floral with a spicy edge. I dig it.

Wanda was sweet, with a hint of sexyness. A little sweet for my tastes but beautifully complex on the drydown. Something with violet that doesn't crumble on me! Yay!
