    Midwinter's Eve

Wow, this scent really threw me for a loop! I'm reviewing the '07 version. In the bottle: Wow, this is sweet. I was not expecting that at all; it smells like candy! Very "bright" smelling, and not what I'd imagine out of a Yule scent. Wet: Okay, this makes a little more scents. I can smell the "cold" scent I get from many Yules, but still, this is VERY fruity and sweet. Dry: Still fruity and sweet, but it's softening a bit. I can't smell anything but plums, but it does have that slightly chilly air to it. Very impressive though; it's dried into a much less cloyingly sweet fragrance than I expected from the bottle. I like this a lot!!

    Two, Five & Seven

This is an utterly beautiful perfume. Simplistic without being boring, light but lasting, floral but not powdery... It's perfect. It smells exactly like roses. Its like sticking your nose in a beautiful bouquet and taking a whiff. The scent is very natural - nothing artificial or perfumey about these roses! It's perfect in every way.

    The Dodo

I LOVE this one! It was a total risk, as this is nothing like my typical perfume oils that I wear, but it totally paid off! It's a little spicy and a little tart and fruity. I smell the cassia a lot, and I catch hints of Sandalwood. This could quickly become a favorite. :wub2: :wub2:

Invasion of the Flesh-Eating Reindeer from Uranus

Foody without being overkill. This is a favorite of mine! All I smell is gingerbread, but the musk tones it down to be super wear-able. The scent didn't change at all from the bottle to my skin to dry... Odd! It smells delicious though, and I'm really excited about this one!

    Seraglio

This one hit me entirely differently than the majority of posters here. I didn't get anything close to almond at first. Instead, in the bottle, I got light herbals and spice. Wet on the skin, it was mostly herbal and spicy. I smell the cloves, and neroli...maybe a hint of sandalwood. As it dried, I began to smell something floral. Is that rose? Dry, it was definitely rose. A lovely blend of orange and rose, with sandalwood in the background and the faintest hint of cloves. What a 180! This is a fantastic scent. It's definitely one I'd buy, but not one I *need* to have, if that makes sense.

    I Died For Beauty

Lovely, soft, and floral - without being powdery. This perfume reminds me of one you'd find in a little perfumery in France. It's not overwhelmingly unique, but it's still beautiful. It's one I'd consider buying off the site if it were decently priced, but not one I'd order on my own. Still.... beautiful

    Aperotos Eros

This one is interesting. I wasn't sure what to expect from the notes together, because it's unlike anything I have ever worn before. I like it, though. In the bottle: Wow, heavy musk and myrrh...what have I gotten myself into?? On the skin, wet: Hmmm...Christmas. It smells like a Christmas tree and warmth and family. This is definitely a comforting blend so far. Dry on skin: Still VERY comforting, but the Christmas tree/pine scent is dying down. Now it's a little sexy, a little calming, and very heavy. I get the feeling this scent will last all night. Good thing I really enjoy it!

    Water of Notre Dame

This scent is beautiful on me, but I get a very different impression than it seems is typical according to the reviews. On me, Water of Notre Dame is very soft, disappearing 90% after 2 hours. The faintest touch is with me 6 hours later, but the strength is gone. It isn't until I lean in to sniff my wrists that I catch much of anything. The scent is aquatic and floral - a beautiful combination. It is soft and peaceful, and I imagine it'd be a perfect scent of a day at a spa or lying in bed reading books. Despite being a "soft" scent, it is not even remotely powder. It's more of a fresh scent that lightly radiates. I do enjoy this scent, but I likely wouldn't purchase it because it fades more quickly than most. If I came across a bottle at a really good price, though, I'd likely contemplate it!

    Banana Peel in a Graveyard

The first time I tried this, I thought it was rancid bananas...just awful on my skin. I put it away with my other unloved imps, to be traded, gifted, or sold. I don't know what possessed me, but I took this imp back out today.. It's actually surprisingly kind of nice. In the bottle: Straight up bananas. This is downright tropical, but I noticed that last time, too. Wet on skin: Heavy on the banana. Does not smell nearly as rancid as I remember. In fact, dare I say, it smells good! I smell "dirt" and "earth" in the background. Dry: A perfect blend of earthy and fruity. This scent still smells pretty much like bananas to me, but the pachouli is coming out heavily as well. I do catch an after note of dirt, but it's certainly not unwearable. Although this will never be a favorite and I may indeed swap it, it's progressed to average in my mind. Maybe even above average. I'm not opposed to wearing it myself, though, and I bet it'd be amazing in fall.

    Sea of Tranquility

Easily an all-time favorite!! Sea of Tranquility is definitely a grown-up scent, and it smells a little exotic to me. I do smell the Sandalwood quite a bit (my favorite), as well as the lotus. Despite floral notes, this is not a purely floral blend. There's something a little spicy but still calming about it. All in all, it's unbearably beautiful and absolutely amazing. I wish I had a dozen bottles.

    White Moon

I adore this scent!! To me, it's calla lily, violet, and sandalwood - in that order. It starts out powdery soft and lightly floral, but develops into something unbelievably gorgeous! I think this could be a favorite of mine!!
