Licorice bark with freesia, jungle orchids, elemi, Bulgarian rose otto, and jasmine sambac. Wet I get a whiff of licorice, and something sweet, the freesia I do believe. This smells fantastic on me! I sometimes can't wear jasmine but this is so well blended I don't even notice it. This to me smells like bubbles . I know that sounds weird, but it for some reason reminds me of a Lush bubble bar. It's nice and strong too. I keep catching whiffs. As it dries it stays strong and has not morphed. I love love love this scent the longer I have it on. It's such a pretty/clean scent. I'm not sure what the rose otto smells like alone, but I think it's giving this a bit of a softness, while I can still smell the licorice and freesia they just somehow work nicely together. Jasmine I really wouldn't know is in here if I didn't see the notes, so jasmine haters don't be afraid! Absolute beautiful scent. Bottle worthy for me for sure!

Sweet orange with tobacco absolute and hay. Orange is the first note I get. I can smell the tobacco underneath with a slightly caramel-y base. As this dries the orange fades (as orange tends to do) and I can now smell the hay. So tobacco and hay! It's a sweet , grassy hay and a nice caramel tobacco. I like this one a lot too. Very well done!

No description given I am surprised at how much I love this one. Champange note is there of course, but its is secondary to the most amazing vanilla/ambery, sweet resinous note that I haven't smelled from the lab before. This reminds me alot of one of my fav etailers amber/vanilla scents with a splash of champagne thrown in. Super strong throw as well. I love this!!!!

Tobacco flower, saffron crocus, myrrh, ambergris accord, and a touch of vetiver grass. First off I love tobacco sn, not so much a fan of tobacco flower after I had it completely ruin a blend for me. I figured I would roll the dice and get this blend unsnifffed. Wet it's very much an oceany, fresh aquatic on me. Tobacco flower is behaving and it's the lovely ambergris that is strongest. I can smell a sweet grassy tone underneath not sure if that's what vetiver grass smells like but it's nice. As it dries not much change. I like! About half an hour later, it softens further and the tobacco flower is a little more prominent. Ambergris is still holding on and I can detect that powdery-ness of myrrh? But tobacco flower is dominant note in this blend. Very nicely done. I like it!

Cardamom tea, orange peel, mate, oakmoss, tonka bean, sweet cedar, and costus. This was very hard to decipher. I can smell spicy tea and cedar. It smells weird. I didn't like it while it was wet, but dried to something that reminds me of a generic Lush scent. Wtf, that 2 butterfly scents so far that has happened with. And I haven't really bought lush in years, I just like to sniff it. I know this isn't a very helpful review I apologize. Tiny hands solid moisturizer. That's what this reminds me of. So bizarre.

Saltspray on moonlit fur with a hint of palm, white fig, and lime. Salty aquatic. I get a little blast of lime in the beginning, but it burns off quickly. The sharp saltiness mellows out as it wear on. I'm not getting a fur note, but I do like this scent for sure!

Devoted ruthlessness. This is the scent of razors, cold metal, icicles, and her diamond-tipped claws: eucalyptus blossom, crystalline musk, white ginger, mint, and elemi. Wet - this such a sharp musk. I can smell only a tiny drop of mint (not a mint fan so this is fine with me) and a metallic aquatic note. I don't notice any eucalyptus outwardly, maybe that it's contributing to the sharpness? Eucalyptus on me is very medicinal smelling and I really don't notice any. It's definitely got a cologney feel to it. So far so good! Dry -it is completely man cologne on me. It doesn't morph too awfully much, although the drop of mint is totally gone. It smells rather sexy, if it was on a guy. I would attack him. It's a masculine clean, scent just not a "me" scent . I do have to say though, this scent is so well blended. I do find myself sniffing my arm and going "mmmmm" over and over....

Sheer vanilla, hinoki wood, lavender, bergamot, cotton blossom, and lightly spiced oriental blossoms. Wet this is lavender & cotton blossom to my nose first and foremost. Lavender is a quick fader (as she always is on me... Sigh) and I am left with cotton blossoms. Sweet and soft but very pretty. I really don't smell much else other than a slight whiff of wood but it's so far underneath it's barely a player. This is a delicate scent and it does fade into oblivion rather fast. I did but a bottle unsniffed so I don't know if I like it enough to keep it. Not a "me" scent.

Marshmallow root, vanilla cream, black ginger, Rainier cherries, white sandalwood, anise seed, and red currants. I was most excited for this scent... And it doesn't disappoint me! Wet it's like a foodie heaven. Smells of buttery vanilla cakes and gingery currants. This smells amazing!!! As it dries the vanilla softens and it loses it foodieness and I swear, smells like Antique laces sister on me. The ginger and other notes all pretty much leave the party and it's just vanilla with a dash of spicy ginger left standing. So pretty. I even put some AL on just for comparison and they are very similar. I am completely in love with this scent and will enjoy my bottle *eta - Yep the more this dries down the more convinced I am it's the vanilla from AL.

Wet I get no apples, which is fine because I'm not an apple fan. I do get a caramelish sweetness, but this is sadly short lived. It quickly turned into this weird artificial powdered candy smell that I don't like at all. It's strong too. Apples never did show up to this party. And this smells nothing like Bloody Mary on me thank god- I love Bloody Mary! This Hallowench, not so much!

Very pretty scent. I feel like this is more of a "whole scent" than individual notes I can pick out... First sniff it reminded me of Black swallow tail, even though they don't share notes. I do smell ylang ylang & sweet lavender. Seems to have a good bit of throw on me too. I like this one too. So far I have loved all the Hallowenches!

Fruity wine! delish red wine aged in oak casks. It has a warmness that makes it feel like spice, but it not the labs spice note. I cannot wear & don't like spice notes, so it's not that. Almost feels like a mulled wine.... I really like this one!

Melons! Smells like cool melons (think cantaloupe & honeydew) with a hint of pineapple underneath. Fruity and fun. Doesn't morph on me too much.

MISS EMMA BENEDICT’S PARLOR HOUSE ATMOSPHERE SPRAY The establishment at No. 84 W. Houston street is kept by Miss Emma Benedict. It is on the corner of Laurens street. It is a first class house with eight lady boarders. Everything here is arranged in the first style, while the bewitching smiles of the fairy-like creatures who devote themselves to the services of Cupid are unrivalled by any of the fine ladies who walk Broadway in silks and satins new. Lush ivy twining through bouquets of buxom roses, cheerful carnations, shy sweet pea, narcissus, and lacy ferns. This is sweet florals to the 10th degree. Carnation and rose are the front runners and what smells like maybe moss or something softly green underneath? Gosh this smells like something i have smelled before, i cant put my finger on it. I am not a floral person at all but this is actually really pretty. Its not at all funeral parlor-ish as I get from some carnation blends.

They Shall Eate the Residue of that which is Escaped

Starts off as a strong vanilla /mint ala "lick it" series. Mint blast subsides quickly and the lovely vanilla and rosewood peek out. This is so pretty! A tiny shadow of mint is all that's left. Slightly foody, but slightly floral, and hugely beautiful! Another for sure bottle purchase. This is a close second favorite for me to About Midnight. -
Heavy salty aquatic with a sweetness from some sort of flower thrown in there. I do smell that same bready, baked good note others smell when first applied ,but it burns off in about 20 mins. Since that bready smell is gone now I can smell the fire smoldering in the background. It reminds me of Aurora Spaceship takes a dive. Still, a very pretty salty ,slightly sweet aquatic (loves me some ambergris!) and just a faint ember in the background.

Pure, warm, glorious vanilla sandalwood!! No hamster bedding cedar chips on me at all.. Not a foodie vanilla either. This one is my absolutely favorite out of the bunch. Want multiple bottles!
-
I got no cherry what so ever from this. It's all super dry sandalwood and patchouli... Cedar chips! Poster above me said this is "warm fur and cedar chips " is spot on description for me too. Also one of the driest bpals I can recall trying. I kinda like it!!

GREENE STREET ATMOSPHERE SPRAY This thoroughfare has become a complete sink of iniquity. In the short space of six squares, included between Canal and Bleecker streets there are 41 houses of assignation, 22 houses in which furnished rooms are let to girld, and 11 segar stores. With few exceptions, these houses are of the third class; and, although they are now kept pretty quiet by the police, yet there is sometimes an outburst in which the people amuse themselves by cracking each other’s crowns, and raising the d--- generally. The scenes enacted here, the filth and turmoil would lead a stranger to suppose that he was in Baden Baden, or that old Sodom and Gomorrah had risen from their ashes to greet the sun once more. A filthy patchouli-infused, dirt-caked vetiver splashed with rum and reeking of opium smoke and tobacco. I smell rum and earthiness first and foremost. Its the Labs sweet rum note like Grog and some patch & vetiver "dirtiness"to ground it. I didnt really expect to dig this as much as i did until i smelled it. I would love a full bottle of this.

No description given This smells like mixed fruit and champagne. This is blended so well I can't pick out any specific fruit notes, but it feels very bright. Citrus. Definitely citrusy and tickly your nose boozy. I dig!

White thyme, yuzu fruit, hinoki wood, blue cedar, white carnation, plum rind, white mandarin, and lime-tinted white musk. Wow this has a lot going on! Herbal. Fruity. A bit floral. Wet, I smell herbs and Yuzu/mandarin citrusy thing over everything else. Carnation I can pick out but it's not particularly strong. I can also smell wood as this dries further... It's getting stronger as it dries. Yep. Herbal wood with fruit cut up on it. Kind of a strange scent for a perfume. This would be a nice room spray actually......

Rose. Rose, rose and more rose. I amp fore mentioned note like there is no tomorrow, so this pretty much just a strait forward sn rose on me. Strong as all get out too. When I first put it on I could smell a bit of a deep vetiver component, but it was quickly trampled by ROSE and that is all that remains. Not my thing unfortunately.
-
I don't smell any orange while this was wet, just tonka and sandalwood. It dries to a very soft, sandalwood that stays close to my skin. Not a lot of throw, but it's a nice fuzzy brown scent. This would be nice when you want an snuggly, understated skin scent .

This was so strange on me too. Started off as a aquatic chocolate with an herbal, almost spicy edge to it. Chocolate left town pretty quickly after I applied. Maybe 15 mins later I kept getting whiffs of leather!?! I'm not a leather fan so I was kinda glad when this also disappeared. Now I am left with a soft but strong pencil shavings. Wth. This is the most an oil has morphed in the longest time on me. This smells right now, what Lyonesse smelled like on me. Bad pencil shavings. Maybe it's the Ambergris note they share? Doesn't list it but I really smell it. Wierd since I can wear SN ambergris no problem. Chemistry... Smh!

Very strong spice notes in this one. The coffee I do get is bitter. I think this would be a better room spray than a perfume on me. I do prefer a El Dia or Bah! For my coffee scent. Anther one I bought blindly that didn't work on me.
