At first I get a definite overtone of plum and wine. After the initial drydown, a delicious black currant comes out mingled with the boozy cherry scent of amaretto. Sweet fruity blend without making it *obvious* that it's sweet and fruity. Insanely sensual but fun and light-hearted... a definite partier and knows how to have a good time. Putting this one up on the bottle wishlist for sure!

Ick... this is one of those mascline-type blends that I hate. An intensely musky, me-caveman-drag-you-to-my-cave scent. Which... ugh. Not at all for me.... or my man.

I definitely get a salty dragon's blood from this blend. The sweetness of dragon's blood with a slight sea-air tang added in.

In the vial and on wet, this smells like straight up dirt on me. O_o No roses, no rose leaf, no mosses... just straight up fertilizer.

In the vial and on wet I get this juicy ripe pear note... like sliced pears drenched in their own syrup. After the initial drydown a light touch of rose and a very light aquatic lend the most beautiful undertone to this blend. Ahh, these fruity blends are just the best. Must pick up a bottle of this one.

On wet, this has a faint "Big Red" type of smell. A juicy, slightly spicy, "redness". After the initial drydown, I get a definitive dragon's blood. It ends up morphing into a soft pink bubble bath type of scent though. Like the big pink bottle of "Mr. Bubble"... not a full-on SOAP note, just a frothy bubble bath. Pretty nice. I'll probably keep this imp around for a bit and see how it works on the husband.

This is a dark rooty blend. It still manages to stay a light and pale floral though... weird. Not sure I like this one. It's okay I suppose, just not for me.

On me this starts out with a very soft bitterness. After the initial drydown it turns into a full-blown bandaid adhesive. O_o... ick. I got this same band-aid note in a CT3... so perhaps I've fingered the culprit.

Definitely a calming sort of blend. Not in a lavender knock you out sort of way, but in a cool, green, center yourself and focus sort of way. There is a small faint floral note to it as well... perhaps a violet. The drydown really saved this one for me. I liked it well enough but not enough to keep it until the violets peeked out. I'll keep the imp around but don't really see myself buying a full bottle in the future.

Hot and dry, dusty, with a sour spice hanging in the air. This not only smells like some desert town, it smells like some deserted desert town. Musky and dry, the sandalwood and saffron keep it from being good on me. Off to the swap pile.

Mmmm... juicy red currants!! Oh, this smells so good and fruity. Very sweet and berry-ish. I like this one very much and will definitely be snatching up a bottle.

In the vial I get a definite peppermint. On my skin I still get the peppermint but with a nasty rotting green thing along for the ride. Wafting about me I can smell the "coolness" of the peppermint in the air (lots of throw on this one!) but there's still this small overtone that deepens as you get closer that's just horrible. I've only tried 2 so far, but the Dark Elements really don't like me.

On wet I get a rotting vegetation scent like I got from R'lyeh and Bayou the first time I tried it. It's sort of a salty, overripe green blend. Not for me at all.

Another very light throw blend. This one smells faintly aquatic ozone in nature. After drydown, it turns to cheap hotel soap on me though.

Heavy on the geranium here. This one smells very dark and slightly sinister... but in a light floral scent. It's one of the strangest things ever. The calla lily and black orchid lend a heady sweet overtone to the entire blend. Too much floral for me though.

Definitely ethereal. There isn't a whole lot of throw on this one. What I can catch is white musky, very light light citrus scent. If this one could be amped up just a touch it'd be perfect.

On wet, this smells like a watery white rose. Somewhat reminiscent as Amsterdam but not *quite* as clear and cool aquatic. Very nice indeedy though. Might buy a bottle of this one eventually. < nods >

At first whiff I get a really nice spearmint... after the initial drydown however it's perverted by the Vick's Vaporub eucalyptus of doom. >_< Now it's like a war between yummy chewing gum and thinking I"m going to hork from the overpowering eucalyptus....

When I first apply this blend I can definitely pick out the spicy cinnamon and clove. There's a sour note to it though that isn't good at all. I'm thinking it's the incense because I've never gotten a sour note from any of the other's listed. Definitely "fiery" as described, with the cinnamon/clove combo being pictured as small flames licking around whatever's in it's path. After the drydown, this sour note still doesn't go away like I'd hoped. Ah well, off to the swap pile. (and now something in it is making my arm turn red and itch like crazy! >_< ) Ugh... get. It. Off.

Spicy red musk. I rather like red musk I think. This one smells really good too. It has the muskiness that I liked in Mme Moriarty without the overblown patchouli overtones. I'll definitely keep this imp around.

Amber-ish resin. Definitely getting a herbal as well... not quite a lavender because there's no real "kick" to it like I associate with lavender though. Beautiful warm scent.

Mmm... bold mandarin orange with just the most wonderful touch of fig to settle it. Oh yummy! Another bottle buy for this one for sure!

Oooh, this is so beautiful! A wonderful bright juicy peach! I feel like I just bit into the most delectable peach dessert. So much like the juiciest peach. Definite must-buy bottle of!

The blue lilac in this is such an intriuging note. This is a light, floral scent with a sprinkling of woodsy background. Like a drawing room table outfitted with a vase of white blooms.

Pretty much a sandalwood single note on me.
