    Succor

Ugh... not at all nice on me. It's a very rancid spice musk. Blech. It has a very bitter quality to it on me and not at all good.

    Seduction

Hrm... this is a very heady seductive musk on me. It has a sweetness to it though. Fairly nice woman's perfume.

    Szepasszony

Hm... a very clear aquatic. Fairly reminescent of Amsterdam but without as much sweetness and clarity. Still a very lovely white floral/aquatic scent... but I love my Amsterdam more. <3

    Spellbound

The red musk note in this is definitely lending it an almost dragon's blood-ish spicy sweet air. On wet, it overpowers everything else. About 15 minutes into it and this has mellowed into a sweet red floral. A very feminine rose scent but not *just* a rose SN.... there's a rich golden amber in the mix as well as the heady red musk that has toned itself down a lot.

Mmmm! This smells like the interior of one of those snow cone trailers they have on every other corner in the summer. I love this banana note... it's not a true banana, which is what I like about it. That fake candy banana always makes me drool. I like this so much that even the much hated coconut isn't ruining it at all for me. Definitely the inside of a snow cone trailer. Juicy fruityness. Wonderful!! Definite must have.

    Lady MacBeth

A very tart, red wine. The berry currant notes lend a faint hint of sweetness, but it's overladen by this haughty demeanor. This blend reminds me of a mix between Rosalind and Wanda. Very nice.

This is a very dark tea scent. I can definitely get the sugared part but the tea is definitely no wimpy Lipton. It's a very dark tea blend. On wet, I'm not sure I liked it much, but after the initial drydown, it does smell pretty good. I wonder what it'd smell like on the husband.....

    Jailbait

Mmmmmmmmm... cherry blow pops!! < drools > OMG, this is such a WONDERFUL sweet sugary foody lover's dream scent!! MUST. HAVE. BOTTLE. Multiples even!! This is cherry lollipop candy and wonderful pink bubblegum. Sooooo delicious!!

    Port-Au-Prince

On wet, I get a very definitive amaretto note. Upon closer inspection, I can definitely pick out the sassafras with it's almost anise-like scent. I can also get the spicy kick of clove... like clove cigarettes. This smells like it'd be a better masculine blend... perhaps I'll add it to the husbands's pile of stuff to try on. < nods >

    The Mock Turtle's Lessons

Oooh, I'm loving this one!! It reminds me of those Green Apple Vodka Twister drinks. My favorite bottled liquor type drink. I get a definite sweet green apple to it, like jolly ranchers in it's tartness, but still having a sugary blend to it. After the initial drydown I get a hint of mint and just a slight splash of lime. This is a definite bottle buy for sure.

    The Pool of Tears

a fresh aquatic scent with a hint of sweet florals. I get a slight salty-type tinge to it, that I've sniffed before in BPAL's blends with a "salty sea air" type description... but it's not a true "salt" scent. No imp decapitation but it still managed to leak all over itself in transit. Thankfully, it didn't harm any other labels in it's overzealousness to be sniffed.

    Mad Hatter

Hrm... this *almost* reminds me of Jabberwocky but EXTREMELY more toned down. It's an interesting sweet blend. I never would've pegged it for masculine if the description and name hadn't said so. I can catch a very faint hint of lavender... in the right amount of strength I've come to expect from florals in a gentlemen's scent... which means, not much of it there. Interesting... perhaps I'll have the husband try this one out and see if I like it on him. He can't smell anything so who cares if HE likes it or not? Lol.

    Vixen

Definitely patchouli. Not much of anything else though. If I had to describe this blend in a category, I'd probably put it as an Oriental, but I'm not sure why. There's more to it than the patchouli, I just can't pick it out. I am getting something spicier than patchouli in the background... perhaps the ginger, but it's not *quite* a ginger note. Very odd. Anyhow, off to the swap pile for me, very nice blend, just not my type of smellie.

    Ode on Melancholy

At first whiff, I get a sandalwood with a lavender kick to it. It's a floral blend, but doesn't quite fall into the category of a white floral.... After the drydown, it's a very soothing lavender fragrance. Not an overpowering lavender like a lot of aromatherapy blends have... it has just the right mixture. This one may replace my Somnus for a sleepytime blend. Mixed with everything else it's not as "spicy" and sharp as Somnus is.

    Dragon's Blood

Well, other than my description saying "yup, smells like dragon's blood" I'm not sure what else I can put here. It's a very spicy, slighty sweet blend full of warmth and power. < nods >

    Desire

Oooh.. heay on the neroli here! It even overpowers the patchouli out on me at first, which is hard to do with my skin chemistry. I smell a very faint hint of a tart green apple, but it's very brief and not very strong. After the initial drydown a hint of citrussy bergamont come out, but no roses or vanilla in sight. An interesting blend. On wet, I didn't like it at all, but after this drydown, it's kinda grown on me a little bit. Probably won't buy a bottle but may keep the imp around.

    Bewitched

The sage and green tea are *very* apparent in this blend. There's a very lovely berry blend wafting about in the background. If the overabundance of sage would go away, this would be a beautiful berry scent... almost competing with Rosalind. The musk lends just the right amount of darkness to this blend without overpowering anything else. Masterfully blended! Upon further drydown... Yay! The sage went away! Just as I'd hoped this is a very lovely berry blend with the musk lending a slight touch of masculinity to keep it from being just like every other berry scent out there. Very good blend. May have to order a bottle of this one too.

    Shattered

Mmm... minty. This is a chilly sweet mint with a very clear aquatic note. It reminds me of sniffing the pink ceramic bowl of peppermints that my great-great-aunt used to keep on her coffee table for when us kids came to visit. It has a slight floral tinge to it that adds just the perfect hint of sweetness to the minty freshness. This one may be a bottle buy simply for the childhood reminder alone.

    Dragon's Heart

On wet, I get a very heavy dragon's blood and black musk scent. After the initial drydown though, a sweetness comes out. It's has that berry tinge to it that I associate with currants. This one is a pretty good scent... and I usually hate the Arcs Draconis scents with a passion. Maybe not in the "must have bottle" pile, but definitely in the keep the imp around pile.

    Black Phoenix

Well, there's no notes listed so I'm not sure what's in this one. I'm pretty sure I'm getting dragon's blood though. This scent has surprised me. I honestly expected it to be a spicy musk and instead, on me at least, it's a sweet, slightly darker version of Dragon's Milk. O_o... strange. Not bad though. I may keep this imp around for a bit.

    Cathode

In the vial, I get a strong whiff of divine spearmint. On my skin though, it's not so strong. A very interesting scent. It gives a coolness in my nostrils when I sniff it in, just like a chill winter breeze. After drydown, I still smell the spearmint and a peppermint starts to peek forth. Mmmm yummy. I'm not in the "must have bottle" stage yet, but this imp will be a keeper for awhile longer.

    Tintagel

Mmmm... this smells sooo good. It's like a berry wine with hints of dragon's blood in the background. It reminds me of a sweet Christmas-time drink. Spicy and warm.. almost like Big Red chewing gum. I'm surprised the woods in this haven't completely ruined it for me. This was a frimp from the Lab, it wasn't on my wishlist because of those scary woods, but wow, this is so great on me. WTG Labbies! This is why I love frimps. I get to try something I wouldn't normally have ordered. This will definitely be going onto the bottle list and I'm going to try it on my husband and see if it's just as good or better.

    Dragon's Claw

All I get out of this one on me is the sandalwood. One of the notes my skin amps up beyond belief. And this blend has THREE types!! lol. This might as well be a single note on me.

    Dragon's Bone

Dragon's blood on me appears to have this very sweet scent... almost sickly sweet, but just shy of actually being there. I tent to like it. In dragon's bone though I'm getting a very amped up wood note. I can tell it's a white wood, it feels lighter colored somehow. Not as strong as most wood notes but my skin is amping it up appropriately anyway. Wood wood wood... that's all I'm getting out of this. < le sigh > I wish woods didn't hate my skin chemistry so.

    Lightning

VERY aquatic. Don't know why I'm surprised though... lol. A clear, almost salty, ozone note that pulls through and brings with it a massive deluge of a cool, tangy (almost citrussy) aquatic. Almost reminescent of those quiet moments before the storm strikes... it's very close, just missing a little something.
