A very wistful, refreshing and clean, floral scent. Not at all overpowering or too strong. I rather like this scent. I'll be buying a bottle of it eventually, but it's not a right-away must-have for me. This is just a very refreshing scent as lily usually is really heady on me... this is just perfect and wonderful.

Very intriguing. This is a woodsy scent but it's not like I'm standing in the middle of the Black Forest or anything...lol. More like a small courtyard with one or two trees scattered about and a heady white rose wafting about the breeze. Not sure I adore this scent, but the woods not amping up horribly on me like usual are enough to raise the score just a touch.

Mmm.... very nice white scent. It smells like a shimmery silver... if that makes any sense... lol. I'm not sure how a perfume can smell like a color though, it just does. It smells like a distant cousin to Black Moon in some respects. A very clean scent with a faint floral background that doesn't overwhelm at all.

Hrm... can't find this in the product search. This has a wood note, that much I can tell. All I really get out of it though... which isn't surprising since woods amp up on me.

Hrm... this one is one of the seemingly rare amber scents that don't turn to powder on me. With the blood note I guess I was expecting a more coppery note but this is definitely more reminiscent of dragon's blood. Tempered and toned down though, not as fiery as it normally is in BPAL blends. Perfectly captured and held in check by the smooth golden amber. A wonderful scent for amber lovers who sometimes get tired of all the bright and happy amber scents... this one isn't all depressing and moody, but definitely more "darker" than an amber usually is.

This smells like it's rotting a little or something. O_o I was expecting the heady scent of a cowboy boot store or a tack shop corner with all the saddles and harnesses. Instead I get this spicy, dusty-dry, acrid note that is barely even reminiscent to me of leather.

Mmmmm... yummy! Another wonderful fruity scent. This ranks right up there with Fruit Moon and Shango. With the faint floral in the background with a dominant fruity sugar overtone, this is just gorgeous! On wet and in the vial, it smells like a real fruit punch (none of that Hawaiian Punch or Kool-Aid stuff though, this actually smells like a bunch of fruit juices). After the initial drydown, more of the floral comes peeking out. I'm pretty sure the gardenias are the heavier note as I'm finding it hard to sniff out the rose or plumeria.

Mmm... lovely rose. It's not that rich heady scent I get from BPAL's red roses... in that same vein but less haughty and more understated. A bit dusty though. There's an odd kick in the background... I'm guessing narcissus since I have no clue what that smells like. Not sure that I like this scent overall. That strange dusty note isn't being kind to me.

Hrm... this one starts out with a very strong boozy cherry scent that I normally associate with black cherry. A bit strong for me, but I'm waiting patiently for the drydown. After a bit, a very light cocoa dust note comes peeking out... the cherry is still very dominant though. I'm not sure if I really like this scent or not. I guess I was expecting it to be sweeter. Hmm... may try layering with some vanilla layering notes to lighten up the cherries and add some smooth creaminess to it. < nods >

O_o... sniffing this on me wet almost made me have a coughing fit. It smells like rotting vegetation. I'm not sure if that's the laubdanum or wild orchid but... ick

A very obvious men's cologne scent. It's a spicy lavender... very nice. It reminds me of the half dozen colognes my grandpa used to have sitting out on the dresser. I simply *must* try this one on my husband. < swoons > Probably won't be as great as Villain, but it's darn good as it is and I may end up buying some just for myself.
-
Don't love this one that much... lol. It sounded like it would be really masculine and it is.
-
Smells surprisingly bright and fresh on me. I really love it.

Mmm.. this is such a lovely scent. I totally get what Macha was saying when she mentioned wanting to drink the bottle. <3 I can't wait till my husband gets home so I can try this out on him. < drools >

Hrm... what an intriguing scent. The black cherry is very reminiscent of Kyoto and Neo-Tokyo. Perhaps it's just because of my scent associations with those two scents but this is giving over an almost anise-like vibe to it. God I hope not, I hate anise. It has to just be my imagination. < crosses fingers >

Mmm.. so glad I have 2 bottles of this. A wonderful fall apple cider scent. All it needs is a dash of a cinnamon layering note and it'd be perfect!! It has a bright berry sweetness to it too after the initial drydown.

On me this smells like red juicy apples absolutely drowning in butterscotch topping. Very good for the foody lover. I'm a little dissappointed that the caramel doesn't come out more, but I'm just happy to have an apple scent for Halloween that I don't care much. Absolutely no trace of coconut rum either which was making me a little leery in the product description.

Incense alright... this reminds me a lot of Catherdral actually. On drydown, I get an almost bitter, dried out cake note. Like not a good one. Boo... I was hoping more of the sugary sweetness would come out and smell delicious. But instead I get incense and dried out leftover birthday cake.

There's a strange note that I wasn't expecting in this. It's almost like a chocolate in nature, but it's definitely not a chocolate. It has a smooth, creamy, candy-like texture to it and I just can't place it. >_< Strange sweet blend. But almsot sickly sweet. Just not my type of scent. Boo... I have a bottle on it's way to me too.

Ick... maybe I should save this one for when it's that time of the month or something, because right now, it's not smelling all that great. It has a minty note to it that smells nice, but there's some sour backnote that I just can't get over. We'll see how it works for PMSing later though... I hope it gets better because I'd already ordered a bottle of this before my samples got here.

< sigh > I was really hoping to like this one too. It's way too much of a spicy kick to me to be soothing in the least.
-
Lemon pledge... < sigh > There's a sugary sweetness added to it though. Like some little kid just spilled the sugar bowl over the freshly polished wood dining table. Not a horribly bad scent.... but still Pledge.
-
Ugh... grapefruit. Or at least a tangy, sour citrus rind scent that reminds me of grapefruit. Not good on me at all.
-
A harsh "soothing" note. Perhaps a lavender? It reminds me of those eyemasks they have you lay on your face at day spas and such while you get a pedicure or something. After drydown, this has calmed a LOT and is nowhere near as harsh as it was on wet. It's a soothing, almost baby-like scent... but not a baby powder. Just a fresh floral with a hint of lemony-citrus. This would make a perfect blend for the oil burner as a room scent.

Gah... cleaning fluid!! It's like that new orange stuff they have everywhere now, but with a more lemon-y scent. A nice citrus note, but something else is just turning it Pledge-y on me. >_<
