  1. This'll be a short review but I really need to pen something down cause this is so special, it morphs like no other oil I've tried.

First its a little dark and manly, then it turns a bit sour (hmmm...) and I was thinking this is not going to work... then it changes again, the dark leather and matcha pushing out the sour and "Poof!", it becomes something totally different from what it was, floral and tea-like with something else going on which I kind of like.

I let our house's Mrs smell it and she went from "euwww....." to "oh... this seems nice... umm..."

Thanks for such an interesting and fun scent.

  2. I was so sure this will be the one of the moths and butterflies that I will like the least, if not hate because of the black pepper :ack: and no idea how angelica will smell like.

Surprise for me, I snatched up a tester for this along with others just just to make it a complete set for testing and this turns into the best of the lot.

Just a tint of pepper in the background, melding nicely into the slightly sweet creamy coconut. Something in the blend makes me think the coconut is toasted, maybe the angelica+black pepper? :yum:

  3. This soap is pretty amazing cause I'm loving the smell. Its like a soft snake oil and packs a whole bunch of fragrance goodness. I enjoy slathering the brown soap all over. Not too drying for me, just nice. :wub2:

  4. Thanks to the person with sent me a sniffie, I know this is one scent I won't be searching a bottle for which is good since it is so hard to find now.

On my skin, underpants turns dusty, sourish... okay that's about it most of the time. No more underpants to hang on mua skin. :ack:

ETA: This is the 1st foody scent to turn... this way. Most of the rest I've tried so far didn't have this reaction on my skin.

  5. Guava, sweep pea & apple with something dusty underneath for the 1st 4-5 hours then fades and the creamy vanilla comes through and the sweetness has also faded at this point. I needed to slather so it doesn't disappear in the first hour. Not a "me" scent.

  6. Upon application I smell white musk and lemon, like a refreshing *zap*.

Within minutes the aloe and green tea surfaces, calming the lemon while blending with the white musk. It smells a little like detergent but the kind I like. I'll continue testing with the imp to see if a bottle is needed.

  7. The vanilla is a perfect match for lavender and together they bring me to comfy-fluffy heaven.

So a mosquito bit me on the arm and out of impulse I tested TKO around that spot (using a clean toothpick) and amazingly the itch was gone. I'm sure this is not what its used for but this test turns out :joy: cause I smell nice and "bad itch be gone!"

  8. -_- This didn't work for me at all. The decant smelled of cake and cucumber. So I tried it on and it went sweet cucumber cake, with a bitter tinge. I don't know where that came from but its making me feel uneasy from the scent. I had higher hopes for this scent but at this point, its not for me.

  9. Oh dear... this smells wonderful.

Just exactly what it is; vanilla, saffron and cream.

Like delicious vanilla ice cream on cake.

ETA: Then turns a bit root beer. Nice. The lasting power is good, I woke up to lovely vanilla this morning. :)

  10. I was afraid this will turn into that perfect cocao scent I cannot get hold of. Well I guess I'm lucky. Thanks to a sweet BPALer who gifted me a sniffie of this, I now know this smells like strong, dry, heavy cocao powder on me. A bit like bittersweet chocolate in dry down. I'm happy to have tried it and will not be needing a bottle as sadly it didn't get to the wonderful creamy stage on me as some others have. :)

  11. Feels airy and definitely can smell amber, slight spice, creamy. Wish it to be a little sweeter. Might grow to like it more.

My mum commented this feels like clean floral (she likes to describe many scents as floral so not sure how she places that :P).

She likes it more than me though, for now.

  12. So I thought I won't like you, all tyrannizing wet and leathery you.

    :rasp:

Oh but how you turned... and with such "oohmp!"

Sultry, musky and sweet - how well leather plays with vanilla and lavender thus how well you suit my nose.

    Ummmmmm........ *sniffs*

You might just come to me in a bottle in future.

  13. Fresh red apples, a little sweet and a tad sour but the weird part is I keep smelling something like apples dipped in salt. Quite sharp here. :o

The saltiness fades after 1-2 hours and mostly apples remain. Moderate throw.

Most likely will try again to test on the salty part.

  14. This is sexy yum in a bottle.

Starting off with whiffs of chocolate mixed with snake oil and the chocolate is rather dominant at first, then fading eventually into more creamy vanilla.

The chocolate tames the snake's spicy wrath and that suits me real well.

    I can't wait to try it aged. <img src="http://www.bpal.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/aroused.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yum:" border="0" alt="aroused.gif" />

  15. I'm getting snow white with rose, amping more on the snow white components.

Since I already have Snow White, I won't be searching for a bottle of this, which is a good thing since its not on sales anymore. :P
