Black Pomegranate and Blackcurrant Atmosphere Spray

This is my husband's favourite from this year's Halloweenie atmosphere selection and whilst I don't agree (I'm all over the pumpkin s'mores) I do love this also. It's very juicy and very tart and sinfully mouth-watering. It also has a dark freshness that is simply moreish. I would love to see this return next year as a perfume blend as I would slather it in a heartbeat. 9/10

Dia de los Muertos Atmosphere Spray

Exactly what I get from the perfume blend -- those perfect autumnal notes that Beth does so well, mixed with subtle foodie deliciousness and a sweet, smoky undertone. I also love the spooky label

    Midway Plaisance Atmosphere Spray

This is the epitome of the sweet, foody atmosphere spray. Olfactory gluttony. I get every single note listed but most especially the popcorn, cider, cocoa and crème pâtissière. Gorgeousness.

    Pumpkin S'mores Atmosphere Spray

For those (like me) who appreciate gourmand fragrances -- this is for you!! I don't get much chocolate or graham cracker but what I do get is pumpkin, spice and gooey marshmallow. This is exactly what I wanted Marshmallow Pumpkin to be. It's warming and delicious and comforting on many levels. I am so glad I bought two of these because my first bottle already has quite a dent in it. 10/10

    Samhain in the Pumpkin Patch

I love Samhain a lot so this was a no-brainer for me. Samhain and pumpkin marry perfectly and this is definitely one of my favourites out of this year's pumpkin patch. It encapsulates the scent of autumn so perfectly that I just can't find the words to express it. It's mainly pumpkin, red apple and spice on me, which is a real treat. It's also lasts for hours and has amazing through. Yummy and delicious and delightful.

    Moroccan Pumpkin Patch

Phwoar. This is a winner for me. I don't have Morocco alone but I do have the bath oil, which I love and use regularly, and that was enough for me to go for this one. I am so glad I did. All of the spices melt into one another beautifully and the result is a soft and comforting pumpkin blend that makes me feel warm and cosy. It's like pumpkin pie on a rainy day. I love it.

    Dorian in the Pumpkin Patch

Sweet, sugary tea with a side order of cinnamon-pumpkin cookies. Foody, very foody, but in a grown-up, elegant way. This was one I was slightly concerned about when buying it because I just wasn't sure how the spices and pumpkin would work with the tea. I need to learn to trust Beth implicitly, no matter what, because this is just so beautiful and I love it. My husband loves it too and has already made a substantial dent in my bottle! Looks I need more for both of us

    Sin in the Pumpkin Patch

Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. This is just delicious and I LOVE it. I get all of the usual notes from Sin - the amber, sandalwood, black patchouli and cinnamon - plus gorgeous, ripe, buttery pumpkin. GC Jack and GC Sin sexing it up and creating this blend as some sort of infernal offspring. Mentally, I see burlesque babes dressed as devils, pouting and posing in a pumpkin patch. Pouting and malevolent laughter and glittery devil horns. Bottled amazingness.

Snake Oil in the Pumpkin Patch

Straight-up Halloween sexiness in a bottle. This is my favourite of all of this year's pumpkin patch scents. I've only lightly skin-tested this baby because my bottles are going into my super-secret BPAL storage box of rarities and treasures and there they will sleep for the next 2-3 years until they're thick and oozy with aged Snake Oil goodness. I cannot wait for that day but wait for it I will and patiently so. Beth is a genius, if you didn't know. This is one of the best Snake Oil incarnations ever and so good I just cannot stop huffing my arm and making orgasm noises. Perfection.

    Honey Moon

This is lovely, lovely, lovely. I adore anything to do with bees, wasps or honey so this was something I *needed* to sample. On me, it isn't just honey... it's almondy and sweet and has the faintest, sexiest lick of ginger. Also, the label is beautiful. 10/10

    Love

Love is exactly what I hoped it would be. I had pretty high hopes, given that I don't really like rose perfumes and was keeping my fingers crossed for a predominantly marshmallow blend with a hint of floral. On me, Love is all pink marshmallow, cream and strawberry with only a faint yet warm blush of rose. It's an incredibly comforting scent and is also light and not overly foodie. Simply beautiful and my favourite of this particular collection by far.

    Uncle Brian

I was going to wait until tomorrow to try this baby but the Cykranosh I was wearing earlier faded completely and I felt like trying something different. Uncle Brian is candy heaven. It smells like candyfloss clouds, sweet powdery sherbert and fruity, creamy deliciousness. This has to be my favourite of any candy blend Beth has ever made. It's delicious in the bottle but after the drydown the scent turns all soft and comforting, remaining pink and sugary and retaining a light citrus kiss. Unicorns must smell exactly like this. It is absolutely gorgeous

Oceans of Love and Millions of Kisses Bath Oil

I was given a generous sample of this to try (thanks ReallyZeb!) and try it I did this morning in a perfect Saturday morning hangover-relief bath. The two notes are luscious and true and as always with BPTP bath oils, my skin was left feeling and looking amazing.

    Cykranosh

This is pretty much what I hoped for - cherry gummi bears. It definitely has a powdery undertone to it, which is fine really because the scent is quiet and innocent overall anyway. On the drydown, the 'gummi' note really flies and I do truly smell like a great big bag of candy. This is delicious and an awesome, original scent but I'm only going to need the one bottle. Yum!

    Whipped Cream and/or Marshmallows?

Boo from the Halloweenies is pretty much just cream. Marshmallow Poof is pretty much just marshmallow. Both are gorgeous and layer very well together.

What do bottles and labels look like?

I love the squat cobalt bottle, never seen one of those before. Very cute.

Hair Loosened and Soiled in Mid Orgies Hair Gloss

Now this one is a real winner. I wish it was available all the time like the GC scents!! It's very, very much like O but with more rounded musk note. It's all honey and musk on me and I would buy this as a perfume oil in a heartbeat. This, along with the Snake Oil hair gloss, is my absolute favourite of them all. The scent lingers and lingers and I only need 5-6 squirts to treat my hair which is very long and super thick. I cannot say enough good things about this hair oil - it really is absolutely beautiful

    Implacable Beautiful Tyrant Hair Gloss

I love, love, love BPTP hair glosses and I was super excited about some limited edition scents. IBT is very earthy and very sexy and has a gorgeous incense tone to it. As always, my hair is left super-soft and smelling amazing without even a hint of residue. The scent has amazing throw and is very strong, as I like it. This is gorgeous

    Monster Bait: Bloody Mary

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this one yet as it's easily in my top ten favourites of all time! Bloody Mary is all sweet, sticky red cherries in the bottle with a faint hint of the cream. Wet, it is juicier and is scented exactly like the cherry lollipops I love from our local sweet shop 'Sugar Sugar'. The cream note is much like the one in Boo, heavy and thick and incredibly moreish. On the drydown, the cherry note stays true and has incredible throw. I am total sucker for sweet scents and this is one of my favourites. It does fade on me over time but I don't mind re-applying or slathering a little more than usual to make it last. I sometimes like to layer it with Boo when I need that extra creamy kick. Bloody Mary is absolutely beautiful, sexy, sweet and delicious. Probably the best BPAL cherry scent to date.

Best Scent to Wear When Naked

O that has been aged for at least three years. Or Jezebel. Or Le Petit Mort. Or Womb Furie '10.

Feed Me and Fill Me With Pleasure

This is like a drier, woodier Banshee Beat. The black patchouli is so woody it has a smoky edge to it. This is much more masculine than I expected it to be and much darker also. I wouldn't say it isn't a winner for me but it isn't as nice as I expected it to be. The best points for me include the throw, the depth and the trueness. It's not a morpher, or at least it isn't on my skin. I'm hoping that when this is aged (I'm testing this fresh from the post today) the honey and the amber will get a little louder. I think I was hoping for more honey, more amber and only a little black patchouli and instead it's kinda the opposite and much drier than I expected. I'd give this 7/10 and won't need any more than the couple of bottles I ordered.

    Our Lady of Pain

Our Lady Of Pain gets a rave review from me. Wet, it's dark and red on my skin and the top note is a clean lavender with musky incense and a little kiss of patchouli. I was worried about the lavender at first because though I love lavender on an oil burner or in an Aromatherapy treatement, I do not like it as a perfume. I don't have any negative associations with the note, I just don't want to smell like lavender and only lavender. The lavender in OLOP disappears quite quickly on my skin and as the drydown begins, the blend loses all of its crispness and becomes dark, resinous and sexy. We have a winner with this one, alright. It is a very unique perfume oil as I have never quite smelt one like this before and I have tried a LOT of Beth's wondrous creations. OLOP is so sultry and yet entirely ladylike at the same time. I loved Blood Countess (RIP, dear friend) but to me, OLOP smells a lot more like I would expect Elizabeth Bathory to smell than that blend. There is throw, the scent is commanding, it is empowering and it is handsome rather than out-and-out beautiful. There is a strength and a dignity to it and I sense a little lick of cruelty also. Our Lady Of Pain is a trip. I absolutely *love* it.
