  1. Rice powder, osmanthus, rose geranium, magnolia, khus, and chestnut.

In bottle: Delish. Smells a little like some sort of baking- probably the chestnut and rice

On skin: Got very nutty and floral. The rose decided to jump out at my nose. We'll see where this goes. (rhyming!)

10 min: Can't decide what's happening here. There's a soapy smell, but also the chestnut and rice scents (so long as I don't breath in deeply). Not loving this so far.

20 min: Sooooaaaaaap. And rice. DANGIT.

60 min: This isn't working so well. It's just enough rice and chestnut to make me want to take a deep breath, but then it's all soap. Not a fan, and this makes me sad.

  2. … Her ofrenda is thick with honey and herbs of love, passion and desire.

In bottle: Super sweet, in an almost sick way. Makes me nauseous.

On skin (wet): There's a little rosemary..and..lemon-something..thyme..It's not completely unpleasant, but quite strong.

10 min: Very flowery and dusty/herby. Nothing really stands out individually. It's adopting a bit of a perfume/alcohol scent.

20 min: Went all sugary and touched with a vinegar smell. Not my kind of combo. Cheap balsamic vinegar or bad wine.

60 min: So sweet it's coming back around and going sour. I keep getting enough of an herb-smell to wish this was working on me, but it just isn't to my liking.

  3. In bottle: mellow, more sweet than fruity, but a clean sweet

On skin (wet): much honey and an almost honeysuckle smell. Going sort of smokey.

10 min: more soapy than I'd like, but not awful. Getting a little floral.

20 min: waaay soapy. I want to wash it off, but I must endure.

60 min: almost gone, too many high notes and soap (but just enough honey to make me sad). Had hoped the honey and musk would really shine through to make this a sensual scent on me.

  4. In bottle: Heavy on the watermelon and strawberries, with a little gardenia. Wish I could drink this.

On skin (wet): Very fruity, but not overly sweet. Initial throw is epic. Gardenia is lending a sort of "grandma" tint to the scent, but the watermelon and strawberries are to die for. Fresh fruit salad on my wrists! Must not lick!

10 min: The throw has gone down, but this is still fruity and sweet. Getting a strawberry lemonade feel from it. Gardenia is still there and the citrus is making a small showing.

20 min: Still going. Much more subtle and perfume-y, now, but not in the usual gag-me sort of way. Almost pleasantly alcoholic now, with a hint of fruity hard candy.

60 min: mostly gone, but fruitiness lingers in the form of watermelon. Very nice.

  5. In bottle: Almost a cranberry smell; fruity and sweet with bite.

On skin (wet): Resin and a very light, green smell. Extremely light hint of sour- maybe the myrrh? Sort of like dirt. This is starting off very vegetable garden-like.

10 min: Still green and fresh. Lettuce? Where did that come from? Watery and sweet- can smell the tea and resins, now.

20 min: There's the honey! Still fresh and crisp, but now the sweetness is coming to the front. Red tea! Meade!

60 min: still around! It has gone very tea and resin, but sort of subtle. Yum!

  6. As a warning (or just a point of interest) I'm testing out of an imp that I've had for at least three years.

In bottle: metallic and dirty with a hint of mint.

On skin (wet): getting quite the rush of graveyard dirt, no mint..some metal. Not catching any smoke (sad!), but we'll see how this goes.

10 min: still very graveyard dirt, plus a more airy/clean smell (but not smoke or mint). Not as metallic as it was while wet.

20 min: About the same as 10 min. Very deep, swampy smell.

60 min: super light. still mostly dirt, with an unidentifiable air smell. No smoke or fire.
