OOPS, I totally didn't see that piccie. But I still think it's so cute.

First Impression: Pink and green goodness.

Second Impression: This is most definitely a "make love in the sun, covered in fresh flower petals" sort of scent. It's bright, fresh, clean, green, pink, ALIVE! The drydown is lush and soft.

Final Analysis: A perfect scent to say goodbye to winter and celebrate the lovely, long days of spring.

First Impression: Exactly how I thought Samhain would smell after reading all the reviews, but not a strictly "autumn" scent.

Second Impression: What a gorgeous blend this is. It's smokyjuicywoodsysexy. I do detect a hint of vetiver in the long, long drydown but not enough to put me off. Hexennacht is a keeper.

Final Analysis: Smells so good, I can't even believe how good this smells.

First Impression: Lavender but not.

Second Impression: This works so well. I was buzzing after a hellish week and I slathered some of this on my wrists and temples and it shut my head up and calmed into a deep and dreamless sleep.

Final Analysis: The scent is a bit rosy, a but lavendery and just lovely, really clean. This will be a staple for the "can't settle down" times.

First Impression: Lemon zinger tea!

Second Impression: Oh, this is nice. It's so soothing, it reminds me of those lovely honey-lemon throat lozenges that my nana used to give us when we had colds when we were little. The drydown is slightly creamy.

Final Analysis: Soothing and delightful.

First Impression: Freshly turned dirt with a hint of moss...exactly, identically, amazingly.

Second Impression: Not for one second did I think that this would smell good on me, but I was ever so wrong. I don't think it's something I'd like to smell like all the time, but I was completely blindsided by the way this smells on my skin. I'm even getting whiffs of wood flecks (mmm cedar) that you sometimes find in freshly turned earth.

Final Analysis: How does Beth do it?

Lilith and 54 aren't a match for me either. Lilith is so lush, juicy and thick and 54 is much drier.

You are all going to squeee over the Panacea labels. Beyond squeee.

For me it's the carnival that they put in the parking lot of the Revere Theater every spring. Caramel corn, fried dough and the ring toss all squished into this tiny blue bottle.

It's no big surprise that leather is not one of my favorite notes, but in the bottle this smells really good. It smells *exactly* like the leather in a brand new car and the leather shop at the mall. It's really amazing how that true to life scent has been captured in this little, tiny blue bottle.

First Impression: ZING!

Second Impression: This is the energy elixir and it's doing it's job. Remember the old Coast soap commercial, "the eye opener". That's what this is, not the scent but the wake up and smell the lush orange and spicy ginger! This is aromatherapy at it's finest.

Final Analysis: I've had the week from hell and actually woke up this morning with a stress hangover. Sitting here and sniffing my wrist is clearing my head, perking me up and making me feel like tonight at work is going to be a breeze. </span></span>

First Impression: Seduction indeed.

Second Impression: Ylang ylang in it's most perfect form. This is sexy and sensual but without smelling like sex. It's not O or La Petit Mort in any way, shape or form. This scent has wrapped me in the feeling of excitement of the whole time building up to the sex act, but not the act itself. There is something lightly citrusy and faintly incensy along with the ylang. Good, good, good.

Final Analysis: It's a shame that Bunny is away because this has turned me from a grouch into a WOMAN! Wow.</span></span>

I got this from one of the lovely and bursting imp swap bags that passed by me yesterday. (Goodness, that was so fun!)

First Impression: A very vivid lavender scent.

Second Impression: I applied some to my temples before bed last night. It took awhile to fall asleep but when I did, I dreamed and I remembered. I dreamt about a perfect man-nequin who came to life and well, it's just too private to go on...

Final Analysis: I'm keeping this one.

First Impression: Dry and a bit sour.

Second Impression: This scent smells exactly like the description, exactly like I thought it would. For a bit anyway, then my skin chemistry got ahold of it and turned it into a really lovely, sweet incense perfume.

Final Analysis: Pretty, but I don't think it's supposed to be.

I'll reiterate, perhaps you should get another imp of March Hare and compare. I'm sure there may be one or a decant of it available in the swap thread.

Second Impression: This is the creamiest, spiciest, sweetest, freshest magnolia that I've ever had the pleasure of having near my sense of smell.

This is a super-heady floral blend, bordering on headachy. It's a very old-fashioned floral blend that smells like something that a grown-up lady would have worn when I was a small girl. It tempers much when it dries, but still remains very deep and heady. Almost serious.

Ivyandpeony brought her bottle of Lionheart over tonight and I had the good fortune of sampling it.

First Impression: Sweetness and light.

Second Impression: Mmmmm, it's like Crucible of Courage only with a different floral note. Rather than roses, heliotrope, yes, jjj, thank you! This scent is clean, sweet and breathtaking. It's one of those that you keep sniffing and sniffing and sniff some more. You just want it all around you.

Final Analysis: I'd like to add a bottle of this to my collection, it's a happy-maker.

First Impression: Oranges and spice with a hint of an astringent quality.

Second Impression: The astringent quailty disappears as soon as it begins to dry leaving behind the most gorgeous creamy citrus and spice scent ever. I really love the scent. Unfortunately it's a fast fading scent.

Final Analysis: This scent is really positive and uplifting. I like having it around to dab on my husband and myself. It's the first BPAL that Rob has been receptive to wearing since I told him about the voodoo properties of it. It smells so good on him.
