Good lord, this is a gorgeous scent! I am already in love with Obatala but this is a very different coconut than that and I love it too - maybe more! It starts out as coconut and VERY sweet sugarcane on top, my husband thought it smelled a bit like bathroom cleaner when it was wet (?). It dries down to an absolutely beautiful sweet coconut, a little reminiscent of a "suntan lotion" coconut but not quite. It is a lovely scent and I just ordered two more bottles since it will be gone soon. -Mel

On me I just get a night blooming jasmine with a bit of the ylang ylang - and it is heaven. Also the label is so beautiful!! -Mel

We've been using "Jack" around our house. My hubbie thinks it's too strong on me as a perfume but it makes our home smell lovely and is a great scent for the holidays. -Mel

The Last Unicorn was my favorite story as a child and brings back strong memories. I was so happy to hear that the Lab has created a line based on the book and it's NOT a limited edition (yay!!). I just received my Last Unicorn bottle and plan to buy a few more of the series. *The label is SO pretty and delicate! In the bottle: chocolate and lettuce Wet: The chocolate is a lot less noticeable and now the orris and lilac are coming forward. Still smell the chocolate but it's way in the background. Dry: Lilac, iris, orris and violet - this is a VERY lovely scent, not overpowering floral which is death to my allergies, it's light and ethereal. Smells way different in the bottle vs how it wears. Review: I <3 this scent very much, it makes me swoon!!

The distinctive scent of the Mississippi at night mingling with sweet olive and Spanish moss. Oh lab - you have got this one SPOT ON!!! Having lived in New Orleans until I was 23, this brought me right back to those first crisp fall days of Autumn. It's a sweet fragrance, but not too flowery. I love it!! -Mel

Pom 1 goes on strong but mellowed out to be quite a nice fruity scent. I like it but not quite enough to purchase a bottle so I'll use my imp, will be a nice one around the holidays.

In the imp: saffron, saffron and more saffron Wet: Helloooo saffron and black cherry!! Actually smelled way stronger than in the imp. Dunno about this one. Dry: Morphed into a lovely cherry/almond extract with a hint of coconut. Can barely smell the saffron now and the overall scent is very light. Conclusion: It's kinda funky on me at first with the saffron overpowering everything, and the mellowed out cherry/almond/coconut is nice and I'll use the imp but will pass on a full bottle.

Wow, it smells SO blue!! Smells like a fizzy blueberry/pineapple mix on me, and VERY sweet - can totally understand the PEZ references. I did get a headache about an hour after applying but that may or may not be Blue Fire related. Not sure if this is a keeper for me yet but I'll try it a few more times before deciding. Definitely an interesting scent. Mel

Tiki Princess is a BEAUTIFUL scent, my husband absolutely melts when I wear it so I had to order a backup (and may get another!). Although I don't get a lot of coconut with this one (I am a coconut & Obatala lover), the floral mix is heavenly and reminds me so much of the islands. I also get a whiff of pineapple(?). This is the type of light floral that also doesn't make my allergies go nuts, which makes me very happy. This is the perfect summer scent!! <3 <3 <3 Melanie

It went all perfumey on me, smells like something I could get at a department store. My allergy ridden nose can't handle perfumey scents so I have mine up for sale. -Mel

Love this one!! The pumpkin and peach go beautifully together, I can't wait until Fall! This smells just like Halloween and the delicious holiday season. A foodie scent for sure! -Melanie

Wow, I'm from New Orleans and Bayou smells like the Garden District after a light rain. Beautiful! I get strong magnolia, Spanish moss and possibly night blooming jasmine or gardenia notes with this one. Great for days when I'm feeling homesick. A lovely fragrance! -Melanie

Pure YUMMMM!!! In the bottle: a little funky, I think this is mostly fig I'm smelling Wet: Berries galore!! A little figgy, but now smelling equal parts blueberry and raspberry, yummy! Dry: The fig aroma is mostly gone, now just smelling the berries, this is a nice one!! Melanie

WOW, this scent changed a lot on me! In the bottle: Kinda funky, mostly pumpkin with a weird note I can't place. Wet: Pumpkins galore! But this quickly went away (in about 5 minutes). Dry: Clove, with a bit of coffee and cinnamon - a really nice blend! Interested to see how this one ages, will definitely wear it a lot in Autumn! This is a really warm, delicious scent, like comfort food for the nose. Melanie

I had this happen with Obatala! I was frimped an Obatala with my first forum purchase and it was instant LURVE!!! It smelled exactly like fresh coconut meat and it is divine. I immediately ordered a 5ml of this heavenly scent. When it arrived, I was overjoyed and took a sniff - WHOA on the Coppertone suntan lotion!! I was so disappointed that it didn't smell like my imp at all!! I figured that maybe it needed to age a bit and I became really stingy with using my imp while the other "cooks". I recently purchased an aged Obatala on eBay and I am really happy to say that it is the smell I fell for! So I'll let my suntan lotion Obatala sit for a while and I'll use my new "aged" version. I haven't smelled regular Snake Oil yet, but I purchased a partial Womb Furie on the forum and it smells mostly of honey (or maybe a honey/baby powder blend?) to me. I think that might need to age as well, haven't decided if I like it or not yet. Melanie
